The customer service here was decent, but I do have questions regarding the quality of the resonator install they performed.I was able to get a look at the welding job once I got home (they had lowered the lift down before I could inspect at the shop) and became concerned. Ive seen the other pictures of their welding work and it looked good, solid and uniform. However, the job that was performed on my car doesnt resemble those pictures.I called the shop up with my concerns. Again, their customer service was decent. No hesitation from them to let me take my car back to the shop and put it back on the lift so they could inspect.Once the car was back up in the air, the guy who works there front desk (Manny, I believe) asked me what I saw wrong, to which I said that I wanted them to see if the install looked okay. Both the front desk guy and the guy who did the install looked at the work, said there wasnt anything wrong, gave one of the welds a quick hit with the welder, then lowered the car back down. I chose not to challenge their judgement.The pictures show the final product that was approved by the shop. The prices are fair, but I wouldnt recommend bringing your car here.

I brought in my 1987 Monte Carlo SS here to have the entire exhaust replaced, and they said it would be done in about an hour! One quick hour later, I get a call and I come back to see a very high quality job done and paid an incredibly reasonable and honest price for their excellent work. New exhaust sounds great and I am very impressed with their work! I wouldn’t bring my car anywhere else to have the exhaust worked on, this is THE place to go!

Went to 2 other shops and kept getting told, cant do it for one reason or another. Came here and got that confident answer I like hearing. We can do but this will happen, it was very minor and wouldnt hurt anything at all. Great professionals and great price.

Took my car in at 9:15 AM because one of the welded links on my muffler broke, and turns out one of my hangars for my right side exhaust was also missing. Pulled in, explained the issue and in 5 minutes my car was lifted and tended to. By 9:25 AM my issue was resolved and they also didn’t even charge me! Great customer service, excellent work. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

I have had my vehicle inspected by two other places prior to comin to Affordable Mufflers and I was told to replace the whole exhaust on both occasions.Junior took a look at it and started working on it right away.. half an hour later, Viola! My muffler looked perfect.. no replacement no BS, he did a great job with high attention to details.. I appreciate that and will be recommending a whole lot of people..

Walked in, owner on the phone foot kicked up on the desk. took a quick look at me then continued on with his call for another 5 minutes as if I wasnt there. Walked out and went to mayco.(12 minutes away) and happy I did.

Manny is the man. They have good pricing going on for their services. Took my 370z today waited a few minutes, showed him what i wanted done. They installed an exhaust and some art pipes on my car. I didnt bring my Y pipe, i had a H pipe on my Z. completely my fault. but the guy that was installing the stuff to my car he was nice enough he got me an extra Y pipe they had in the back, good condition as well.Goes to show you they take care of you, got so lucky on that.All of them that work there are really friendly.I could see why he had a few people waiting on him after i was done. 5 star experience. The only place I will take my 4runner to...this team has been taken care of my cars since my 1988 camaro..to my pathfinder..now my 4runnerWas having issues with my engine skipping..he replaced my catylic converter...even though Im thinking it just needs new wires and plugs..( still under warranty) one less thing I have to worry about.. Purchased a bolt-on kit from an online store for my 65 Mustang. When I gave up trying to get it installed myself I took the car to A. First off, dont be afraid to bring your fancy car there. I showed up with a 80K+ toy and didnt matter. Great place where you can take care of your car at honest price. They care about their job and will take care well of you. Did my Brembo brakes today and will do my suspension soon! The owner took also time to explain and show me the work behind resurfacing the rotors and how has to be done properly. He was even able to find cheaper parts rather than expensive OEMs. Keep it up guys.

I brought in a MBRP exhaust system to be installed on my 2006 chevy silverado. The boys in the shop did a great job swapping it in. I was impressed when they ran into some trouble with one pipe being a little too short. They didnt even mention it to me and just made some magic happen. The shop is open, people are extremely knowledgeable and fair on pricing. They do some of the best welding in Houston. I highly recommend. They custom built a header back exhaust system for my 1973 Duster. To touch on the review about not receiving a quote. This is completely false. I received quotes each time I visited. Once for the gladiator mufflers and another for the custom pipes. Support your local family businesses. They are good people.

Our recently purchased Ford F-150 had a leak on the muffler which prevented us getting an inspection certificate. Affordable Muffler found that the catalytic converters had been removed and welded a straight pipe on both mufflers as a cheaper fix rather than $700 excluding labour for new cats. I asked if the cheaper fix would allow it to pass the inspection so we could register the truck as that was the whole purpose, and Manny said it should pass providing the emissions come out clean. We were happy with the job and had good service, however returned due to a leak. Manny was not happy as we arrived 10 minutes after closing and lectured me on the hours of his operation sarcastically asking if he doesn’t work long enough hours to satisfy me. What he failed to acknowledge was that myself and my partner had been inconvenienced ourselves by travelling over an hour to get the problem rectified which should have been done properly in the first place, but this was not his concern. Since having the job done we had been made aware by several people that the truck will fail the inspection straight away if it doesn’t have any catalytic converters 🤔 This is interesting as it means 1 of 2 things:1) Despite Manny being in the muffler business for decades, he has failed to acquire this basic knowledge, or....2) Manny knew that the work he was going to carry out on our vehicle was pointless yet charged for the job knowing it would fail the inspection!I will leave this to your opinion as to which you feel is the case but it seems to me if a foreigner (myself) who has been in the country a month can acquire the knowledge that a missing catalytic converter will cause the vehicle inspection to fail than I find it hard to believe Manny wasn’t aware of this?

These guys are nothing less than AMAZING! I needed gaskets for my car and everyone I spoke with stated Id need to order them. These guys made them for me and with everyone on one accord, it was done fast! My only regret is that I didnt come here first for my other exhaust work. BEST IN THE BUSINESS, brought my miata (the hairstylist car) and did an amazing work on fabricating a new exhaust, I asked them to help me with not sounding ricey or raspy and they nailed it, the car sounds way better, it sounds like a sleeper tuner car.
