Absolutely loved, loved, loved!!!! My exhaust popped off during my 3rd pass at the drag strip and needed it fixed asap for it to be ready for this weeks trip!!! I try to get my errands done in the morning and they opened up bright and early and within 10 mins of them opening i was already having my truck worked on. A simple tack welding session and repositioning of the entire system and within 15 mins i was already out the door. The whole time they kept me in the know and even before any work started they let me know the cost. Will definitely be going here in the future.

All I can say is WOW!. Lounds, Eric, Jose & crew scared me at 1st simply because my truck is a 2004, but the outside is in good shape. They restored my front end, brakes, struts & alignment in my rattletrap back to new vehicle quality. Now Im back to a cool, safe ride with no new car payment. Just recently i stopped by their shop to inquire about dual exhaust on 2014 f 250 super duty. I had inquired at other shops and with a $300 variation I kept looking. Travelling on uvalde road in the channelview area i figured i would stop by. They were actually $150 less than the lowest bid already. They started the job but did not finish that evening. They ac tually let me take the truck home that evening. Their dual exhaust and their flowmaster and my money still in my pocket! Who does that these days. They assumed i would return the following day for the tail pipes... COuld have never went back for they had 3 quarters of the job done. However i did return for that is not me to take their property. I just relayed that for these people are genuine and just good good folks. For those of yall looking to have exhaust work done... I promise you you will leave satisified. I reccommend uvalde muffler for your vechicles needs. They do more than just exhaust.

They have a first come first serve. Got there at seven and was told it would be ready by 11:30. Got there at 11:15 and they never started the job. I use to get good service there. Dont know what happened. I wasted a whole morning waiting. Very disappointed . Not sure if I should try them agsin after this.

The shocks they put on my f250 4x4 look awfully small in diameter (about the same as honda civic) compared to factory shocks rides good though well see how they hold up maybe perfectly fine who knows time will tell. Nice people though average price.

These guys did a great job on the flowmaster on my truck. Sounds exactly like I was hoping it would. Got a very reasonable quote on another issue Im having. I will definitely be back.Edit: came back to have my new y pipe welded to get rid of exhaust leaks. The last time I came there was an older man who was really helpful and would explain everything in detail to me before doing the work. This time it was a different guy and he said he could fix the leaks. I pick my truck up and take it home and didnt drive it for a few weeks. When I went under the truck to take a look, the welds looked awful and some joints were left half welded and EVERY weld leaked. I even paid more than what was asked of me thinking they really helped me out. Now I probably have to replace the whole y pipe. I regret bringing my truck here and paying them more than I was charged. Wont be going back. Check their work before you pay them.

I went here to get a muffler tip welded on my Honda Civic. They guided me in the shop right away, and the guy welded it for me. When I went to pay, the owner told me he didn’t want to charge for it and told me just to tip the welder if I liked. I tipped him 10 bucks. I have had catalytic converters work done on my truck here in the past and they are very good. They are very honest. Definitely will be back!

I saw and read one of the posts and will second that they are very reasonable for foreign vehicles needing alignments. Would recommend to anyone. Sometimes they are busy and you have to call to see if you can bring your car in or come the following day.

I wish i’d known that the original owners sold the place, the two men that work the front office are rude. The work was poor and I got ripped off. I wasted 700.00. I’m mad as hell!!!!!

This place has really impressed me so far. They use high-quality parts, get the work done within the day (when they can) and go above and beyond what they needed to do to fix my car. This place was recommended by a family member and I will continue to bring my cars here. Theyre not the cheapest, but theyre not the most expensive either (which is exactly right, if you ask me).

The management at this site has changed. The new manager is not nearly as helpful as the previous, and it seems like their prices have taken a huge leap.

Was having some strut mount issues on my Pontiac and the manager said he would take a look at it for free. I waited for 3 plus hours as they took it apart and said the struts were completely worn (wich they werent) and they needed to be replaced with KYB brand. I said NO, he then tried to charge me $150 for having a look at it. Got home took it apart and found a rock they put in my bearing case and backward springs. Will never go there again!

The service here was the best service Ive ever had at a reapir shop, bar none. Broke my car, had it towed to the shop, and within two hours I was back on the road. Price was very reasonable, and they didnt push any additional work on me. When I have to get my shoes redone, I will 100% be making the drive to have them do the work.

My parents have know Lounds for over 25 years and have been bringing him vehicles for probably just as long. I also have been bringing my vehicles here for over 12 years now. The quality of work is outstanding. They never skimp on parts. They will always work with you to make sure whatever you need gets done. They used to drive you home if you needed a vehicle but will apparently do Uber now. Lounds has even loaned my father his own Suburban at one point. They will always explain why they do something and even show you if you want. They will always return a part to show you that they truly replaced it (sad that they have to do this). Even when I lived in Arizona any non major issue I had would wait until I came back to texas, so that I could have them do the work. I will forever recommend them to anyone. Yes the wait time is bad, so if you want a quick turnaround get there early, they get very busy very fast and are booked almost nonstop. Price is always within reason for the work done. They also will warranty most things. They will recommend parts that are of quality but you can have them use something different and they will oblige.

My car needed front end check because the steering wheel shimmies and the tires we re wearing unevenly. I am home mechanic knowledgeable about cars; however, I defer to professionals for repairs requiring specialized tools or it is very laborious for me to tackle.I went to Uvalde Mufflers based on a recommendation from a coworker. This business apparently has been at this location for a long time and known and trusted by the customers living around the business. I say this because I observed that customers and the owner knew by first names and they chitchat in a casual manner. I went there early before the shop opened and there was already another customer waiting outside. We started conversing and he told me that he has been bringing his cars to this shop for many years.Coming back to my car problem. They did align my cars wheels and there was no more shimmy. The price was cheaper than the dealership. By the way, the car was supposedly previously aligned by the dealership; however, the problem was apparently not solved. I thought the car may need more than aligment and I brought it to this shop expecting them to find some damaged suspension part. It turns out all it needed was an alignment. The shop gave me the alignment print out showing the before and after aligment readings. The alignment was way off from the spec. I am now wondering what went wrong at the dealership. The dealership did not give me the the alignment printout.In summary, I plan to be a regular customer at Uvalde shop. The shop does often get very busy and I advice that you take your car early before they open. It is first-come-first-service and they open at 7:30 am.

My Dad introduced me to this place when I got my first car (that was a bit of a clunker)(early to mid 80s). Even though he has passed, I continue to take my vehicles here even though I no longer live in the area.Loundes (sp?) and the crew he has gathered there are spot on honest and will bend over backwards to help get what you need. They never hesitate to show you the problems they find and its not some BS little problem. They automatically offer you your old part back so you know there is no bait and switch.They recognized my 2001(?) Chevy Malibu was eatting brakes and recommended more expensive pads and explained to me why. Sure enough, the racing breaks ended up saving me money by lasting twice as long for less cost per mile.In the cutthroat world of car repairs, this place stands solid for trustworthiness and not raping you for it.And phenomenal work. I never had to take something back to them to correct.And no, this not a paid or received anything for this review. I dont write alot of negative reviews because there are alot off people to do that. I like to ask for Managers to tell them when one of their employees did an outstanding job!
