Walked into the store with a sizable package, 3 staffs in there and no other customer. it took more than a minute for someone to attend or even acknowledge that I was in the store .Finally with sarcasm,I was asked to be helped.left the store and read the reviews online, Someone had mentioned The service to white people is totally different to the service to people of colorUPS on Voss, we need yall to do better.UPS The company, please train you staff to be be respectful to all customers regardless of Race,Color or Creed

There is always a long line and social distancing is really hard because the store is very small. You rarely will find more than 1 customer service representative. Nonetheless, the service is great once you get to the counter.

The High Strung guy at the front thats there by himself on Sundays is a bad look for the company. He rushes around and trys to rush YOU. Its wild. He gave me TOTAL bad vibes from the minute i walked in the door. And then he even had the nerve to pout (yes, pout(like a kid)) when I simply asked him if they notarize. He said no btw and then said plus hes the only there. He then said that ups doesnt notarize on sunday (which i later found out was a lie. Thanks for nothing buddy. Such a great attituded, well informed and knowledgeable employee! Wow. total 0 experience

I am a home inspector and have had this box as primary business address at this location for 2 years. I have not had much use for anything more than picking up packages and mailing off an occasional item now and then. I enjoyed the 24 hour mail access for my box and the staff were always helpful. I made the mistake of reading the last review and I dont want this to reflect suspiciously on Sarah (as she is the one I dealt with on the phone and in person) but she was very helpful and pleasure to deal with. This was not an easy situation as my company was closing its account at this location. Up front, it was a great experience with this UPS store, Sarah and all the staff included. I am closing this account because my company was able to prosper during these unforetold times through hard work, grit and integrity. I felt I received the same from this store and its employees. SEI Inspections has opened up an actual office space. This was in part because this UPS store provided me with the affordable start up business address needed for a company that offices out of its truck primarily. Thank you UPS and thank you Sarah for making the closing of this account painless. You guys did a job well done from start to finish.

I rushed over to this location right after work. Arrived at the door at 6:52 and it was already locked. The young lady working said that she could not take any more customers since she has to clean up and leave directly at 7pm. Is this normal practice to advertise you close at 7pm but lock the doors 10 or more minutes early? This was my first and last experience at this location. I will not be coming back

Unfortunately I can’t put 0 star. I don’t really complain or do bad reviews but the service for white peoples and Black is different. I don’t know if it’s because of my African clothes but the treatment they gave to the other is way different for me. I been there in couple time the first time I was thinking it’s the cashier but not a different cashier treat me the same way. I’m sorry but we all same hop the management will improve that. Ive had a mailbox at this location for close to 2 years. I chose this location because the manager and her staff were very friendly and I get mail shipped to me out of state.On Saturday I went in to have some items shipped out and I felt that Sarah had some type of attitude. She was not the friendly staff that I was use to and she didnt even thank me after she gave me my receipt from my transaction.If you are dealing with the public and you have an attitude, perhaps you should take the day off or find another line of work.DONT BLAME IT ON THE PANDEMIC!!

Terrible customer service, it is the first time since 2005 anywhere within the US I face a single issue to dispatch a prepaid package back to Nike, with a unnecessary negative / reject I’ve attitude asking me to bring the label printed because “now” they cannot scan a QR nor a bar code to label and ship a packages. Just wasted my attempt to dispatch just because ups did not wanted to print the label unless sent to store’s email. Computer / working station was not working so not way to maintain privacy during printing without sending files all over the place. Big room for improvement rather than going backwards folks.

Ive had a mailbox at this location for about a year. Let me just say, its a pleasure to visit them and get my mail. I always feel that good customer service is essential to the progress of a business. Jasmine who is a manager there has exceptional customer service skills. Ive dealt with her on multiple occasions and every time she displays her skills. I would like to thank her for all that she has done for me. I had a package shipped to me and through the process my package got lost. She filed a claim and they reimbursed my full amount of the items in my package.

Excellent Staff! This is a busy store with high volume for its size. They are quick to get you in and out while perfectly explaining what shipping options you have. I have been with this location since late 2017 (they also offer mailbox service here) and I cant be happier! Keep up the good work.

Dude with the ponytail has the worst customer service. Spoke Spanish to one.lady next to me which I dont have a problem with at all,.came back to me couldnt even say thank you, or answer a yes or no question. I was like what happened to being chatty like you were with the other lady? I left and probably wont be back. My other experience there have been cool. I think this guy I had today was not a nice person.

This is my favorite UPS location to ship. There are a lot of other places I can go to but I make it a point to come here. The staff is exceptional (all of them- Dede Alyssa Sarami). I never have to worry about whether my boxes are properly taped or if they’ll get misplaced especially when I’m in a hurry. Highly recommend.

Horrible horrible customer service, I guess Ivan Hates his job so much that he tried to get into a fight with me a woman . I have been coming to this ups location on Voss for 3years and never had any issues but for the past two months there is this dude that works there called Ivan who is so terribly rude . He tried to sell me a box that cost 35dollars for an item I only paid 7dollars for shipping on 5 occasions, When I declined his offer and requested to use my own box which needed taping to secure the box the dude Ivan snatched the tape from me and placed It behind his back and said ‘ no I won’t make you use the tape . How unprofessional !! Because I didn’t want to buy a box. Again like I said this isn’t the first it’s the 5th and this is why I am writing this review . Shady worker Ivan !!!

As a small business owner working from home, I come here almost every other day to ship out my paintings to clients. They are always smiling and willing to help me get the job done quickly and very professionally. I have mailed packages to myself before so I know what my clients see when they open the box. My paintings are always wrapped very carefully and arrived in perfect condition no matter the distance across the USA. The staff here is so helpful and caring and always puts up with my overwhelming amount of oversized paintings. Love these people! This is my go to UPS Store.

I would not suggest using this store. They do not provide free over night shipping boxes and envelopes, even though UPS delivers them by the case to your home for free. They also charge to print a shipping label, which I have never experienced at any UPS or Fedex before.

Okay, I have to be honest. This location was pretty close to me, but the main reason I went here was because of all the 1-star ratings. I mean, I seriously had to see this for myself! I mentally prepared myself to be so enraged at the situation that I was almost disappointed at how pleasant my experience was. I even asked the employee who helped me, Tammy, if she was aware of how horrible their rating was. She explained to me a new store manager, Fernanda (who was there that day), was recently hired and that they were focusing more on customer service. I personally found them to be very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with my package and the system and computer, etc (clearly above my area of understanding!) and Tammy continually apologized for the delay, ensured I received the confirmation number, and even took my trash and threw it away behind the counter for me (its the small things that count). Im sure some people will say I must be an employee for giving a 5-star rating, but I genuinely had a great experience (although it was only once) and promised myself I would reward them with a rating. Best of luck to everyone!

Got lost as directions given by google maps not complete. Was very nearby in shopping mall. Called for directions as to what it was near with a sign. The girl on the phone didn’t know how to give directions. “It’s in the back” In the back? How did she land that job, I was thinking. Tried to find it on my own. Called again and she was VERY RUDE! Still no directions and she hung up on me. I finally found it, was very upset, as it is less than a mile from my home. Ridiculous on both ends. Google and UPS 😖 I guess UPS now hires complete idiots. No wonder it takes so long to receive a package.

I have a box at this store. I always enjoy chatting with the friendly staff. Each time I happen to stop by and Grace Pallido is in, she always greets me by name and asks how I’m doing. She is always upbeat with an occasional story about challenging customers who may not always understand UPS rules for shipping packages. I still think it’s funny that they have a sign for shipping an automobile; I keep waiting to hear that story!

The current manager (Jasmine) at this UPS store is not professional and lacks people and management skills. Instead of being a problem-solver she tends to be a problem-maker and creates an unpleasant environment in the store for employees and customers. I wish Grace had returned. She really knew how to manage the store very well and was always fair with excellent customer service. Miss you Grace!

Be aware that the employees add inches when they measure a package and then overcharge you on the shipping cost. Their response was that the sorting machine will measure the box to the largest bump or crocked corner. Took the same package directly to different UPS location (Richmond) and shipping was $7 cheaper. This is the only location I have been to that sizes up every package to over charge for shipping. Very poor costumer service and unethical too.

This place at first was the most amazing and convenient place to ship from, but I will no longer be taking anything to them. I am self employed and ship items to clients all the time. I got excited when I found this place thinking it would become my ups store. Unfortunately, this is not the case after shipping with them a few times. Most of the staff is unprofessional and there is a general lack of caring. I will never ship with this store ever again, and most likely will never ship with ups again because of this store. I am taking my business to FedEx from now on.

They wanted to charge me for the one piece of tape I used to firmly secure the label on the box. Another time I came five minutes before opening and asked if I could just drop the boxes off for shipping (I didnt even need a receipt!). They refused to accept it. The customer service at the store is nonexistent.

If I could give them a 0% I would. I went here Aug 18, 2018 to mail my daughters IPad Pro that she left while visiting from Kuwait. It never made it.😠😬 this was my first time using UPS and Im so mad that I used this location. I specifically told the girl to make sure she input the APO exactly how it was. She claimed she knew what she was doing. So the other guy was asking was this Canada. I told him no. Kuwait City. So why in the hell did she take upon herself to later add Kuwait to my APO address.😬 no one told her to do that. So my daughter $800 IPAD is lost. Why would they charge me $55 to get it there in 4-7days but send it USPS. So what was the purpose of using UPS? I called and talked to the mgr. She had and attitude but never called me back like she said. I had to call her a day later. So finally, I stopped back by. And low a behold the same little guy was there and he remember everything that happened that day. All the way to were I kept asking the lady to I need to put insurance on it and she said no because itll make it there. He even said you told her to make sure to put the address in exactly like on the paper. So he told me that wasnt my fault and he was going to talk to the owner and have him to call me. Well the owner never called and the girl that rung me up is no longer there. How convenient. Meanwhile, Im out of $800 to replace my daughter IPAD. I think they never called because the little guy told them it was their fault. And he was there that day with another employee. So if you want to make sure your pigs make it to the proper destination then dont use this location. 😬😬

Do not recommend this store. Indifferent customer service and as a bonus the UPS and FedEx trucks pull up directly behind the store parking spots making it a huge pain to get in and out of the parking spaces. Even the Post Office is a better choice! If you have to use UPS find another store or call the 800 number and have the materials delivered to you.

I came from 14 miles of Uber ride, just because youve mentioned over your web that youd be open on Labor Day. What a rip-off. Such a disgusting lie. I had to take another Uber ride back home. This location(1415, South Voss Road) of UPS has very corteous, friendly and professional staff. During my last visit 1 week ago I left my drivers license at the store and did not even know that its been missing. Today when I came to ship something & gave my name to Sarami at the desk and the other girl, Jasmine over heard my name & immediately took my license out & surprised me, bcoz I had no idea that my license is missing untill then. Jasmine is a life saver for me, she is an asset to the company. Thanks UPS to have such employees.

Manager is CRAZY! Called police. As I am parking in front of UPS he comes out of the store to tell me I cant park there because he is saving that space for his driver. I explain I will only be a few minutes and there are no signs that its reserved but he gets ugly so I move my car. But he follows me through the parking lot harassing me and starts taking pictures of my license plate. Thats when I called the police. UPS needs to fire this guy before he goes completely postal.

I primarily use UPS for printing as their shipping costs are usually a bit higher than USPS. I have never had a bill over $5, and usually, it is around $2.50 total. For this minimal amount of money that I imagine has negligible effect on the stores bottom line, though, I am always treated the same as if I was shipping a $20 package. Cant beat that.

Expect surprise charges when you go there which cant be seen or mentioned online. They charge a fee just to receive the email for printing where as I dont remember paying anything extra to FedEx email to do the same thing except for the printouts. I am not giving less than 2 stars just because the lady was quite helpful in answering the questions I had. Its just UPS. Also, they dont accept Apple or Google Pay, Dunno which generation they are living in.

Folks, the women here are nice but completely under trained and as such move very slowly. I had a package to go to a DPO. My first question was, do you ship to DPO and the response was yes. After 20 mins of trying to do the paperwork she called for help at another store to learn no they don’t ship to DPO. Then, I needed a laptop properly secured and I’m still waiting for them to pack it. I’m not leaving until they seal the box. Not my first time shipping an expensive piece and asking for it to be sealed while I see it closed/sealed. Been here nearly an hour so far. Does UPS care if their stores are serving customers well?

The service is awful, i came here to drop 13 box and as a response they told me that i had to carry them to the truck if i ve more than 5 box. And when i said i m not suppose to carry cause i am a client, she told me that we cant carry them. And when i said i m not going to do it, its your employers job to carry it, she responded as i was yelling at her. I said her lets check it on cameras if i yelled her or not she just told me that she was a manager and asked me to leave the place. I ll suit this reactions of ups. I pay my label and do everything but see what i get as a response.Sooo bad, i have never seen this bad service before.

I went today at this ups store and I had a horrible experience I was been very nice I dont understand why the manager of the store would be soooo rude she sent me three times to reprint my label for package fine I did it but I came back she talk to me rude and started telling me not to come back if something happens to the packages doing all kinds of hand signal to me wen I told her that was rude she rolled both hands sarcastically like saying look Im still doing it what are you gonna do and I told her you know what just give me my packages back she yelled at me and told me get them yourself and get out this is coming from supposedly maneger of the store I will spread the word to a lot of People not to go thier service is bad Im a store manager and i learned that customer have to be respected no matter what as long as he doesnt go over his limit and learned that I have to leave my personal issues at home not to take it on customer. I have a POBox at this location and receive multiple packages weekly and often daily. I have had this POBox for over 6 months and the manager and staff are exceptional. Many companies dont like to deliver to POBox addresses but I have managed to convince them that this is a very personalized location and they sign for all my packages and keep them safe which they do. They have accepted multiple orders of flowers and perishables for me often on one day and they call me immediately upon the arrival to make sure it does not spoil. I was always hesitant of having a POBox but now that I have it with them I cant see being without it. This is without exception because of the great personal service I get at this location. I wish there was a way to remove the 1 star ratings that were put on here because of a former manager and staff. I highly recommend this UPS location.

I came Monday, 11/8/21 to have legal papers for a sale in another state notarized, copies made, and sent overnight for a closing today, 11/10/21. I am efgorydhandicapped, and the notary aided me perfectly in coordinating all the necessities to have the papers documented and mailed. Can’t say enough for the great service. And they were constantly busy but took the time to accommodate my needs. The sake closed today thanks to UPS efforts to make it so.
