Gorgeous display of sweets, but out of all the different treats we bought the only things we really liked were the cheesecakes & a few of the macarons. The chocolate covered bacon would be AMAZING if they didnt have such a thick layer of chocolate on them- sometimes less it more. We wanted to like them so bad, but most of what we bought didnt get eaten😞 positive Ill be back for some more cheesecake though!!

It is a great place to pick up goodies! Truffles to candy! Been visiting CB since it opened up in its old location. Gave Cannolis as a gift to friends, they loved them.

My wife and I stopped here for dessert and were absolutely blown away by the selection! If it exists in this world, Chocolate Boutique & Bakery probably has a chocolate covered version of it. The truffles were great! The chocolate covered cookies were fun, festive, and delicious. The store itself was decorated beautifully. Very fun and welcoming. If youre looking for a great spot for some delicious chocolate, look no further!

Ordered 100 cake pops from Chocolate Boutique and Bakery for my baby shower. They were AMAZING to say the least. From my first call to them and throughout the entire process, they were friendly and great to work with. They also provided the best price for a bulk order, so it was a win-win. All of my guests were ranting and raving about how delicious the cake pops were. Theresa (the owner) made them exactly the way I described to her and they were ready to pick up right at 9 am on the day of my event. On top of that, their shop is SO cute and they have so many other delicious items besides the cake pops. I will definitely use them again for any events I have and will also stop in whenever I just need a sweet treat for myself - five stars and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for desserts in this area!

I ordered 2 cakes one for my granddaughters 5th birthday for may 2nd my 50th for my 8th.. both cakes did not patch the pics we gave them. They didnt put my granddaughters name on hers. It looked great but not what we ordered... mine well where do i start. The bow was to be frosting to match the Burgundy frosting it was ribbon that didnt match the colors at all. Ii asked for chocolate chip cake they said no problem. Well it was chocolate. I cant believe i paid i dime for tbis. I posted on their fb page and they removed it

I honestly just cant get over how rude ALL of the workers are. If they were friendly or welcoming jt would be such a different atmosphere but its not pleasant at all.

I’ve never been disappointed with this shops food and drink, i love their boba and truffles. :) it is a little disappointing however to see the employees wearing mesh masks which is why i docked stars on the review. i feel that it really doesn’t send a good message to customers, especially being in the food business.

Owners failing to wear a simple mask during a pandemic is enough to show they dont care about their customers health and wellbeing. Definitely has one question what other health standards they dont follow, especially when they are making the food.Tried to order $300+ gift boxes from them before the holidays to support local business. I got there 20min after their hours on the door said they are open, door was locked so saw the co owner mother insid so I knocked. She answered saying they were closed but what did I need, I said your hours say youre open which she replied no we were shopping. the co-owner mother wouldnt take my order but took my phone number and said theyd call next day. After 4 days they called back, obviously I went somewhere else, scratches sweet shop was awesome by the way! Its no wonder MStreet and Scratches Sweet Shop are busier than the Chocolate Boutique!Chocolate boutique looks nice inside and products seem decent; sad that poor business decisions, customer service/friendliness, and poor health standards result in people not being able to support this small business.

This is a very nice sweet shop in downtown Howell. The wooden floors and brick walls create a lovely ambiance. Their indoor seating was open, and their outdoor seating area also appeared quite pleasant. The service was friendly and attentive. Their chocolate selection is excellent, and their ice cream offerings are also fairly complete as far as standard flavors. My grandson and I got Superman ice cream to share. But for me, the baked goods were a highlight. We took home a Chocolate Oreo muffin and a Chocolate Peanut Butter muffin. They were delicious. This will undoubtedly be frequented destination.

Honestly one of the best shops in Howell that I’ve been to in the past decade. Super cute and amazing service, so much to choose from and still cheap with beautiful quality to its treats.

Fun decorations and great selection of delicious treats! I love bubble tea and will definitely be back, had some unique flavors. Bubble tea was the popping type not tapioca, yay! Cute atmosphere and great local business.

The truffles are delicious. I purchased an assortment, 18 in total. I was disappointed, however, that they were delivered to me in a plastic container (land fill/recycle alert). A small box and tied with ribbon + store sticker would have made this a much classier presentation. Just a thought.

I have never ate desserts like this!!! I moved to howell 2 years ago and out of all the other “sweets shops/bakeries” this one is BY FAR the best place in Howell. Cheesecake scones are the BEST. It’s fair priced AND the owners are helpful and welcoming !There was a new place around the corner from them I decided to try ....... their desserts are really pretty but that’s basically what I felt like I paid for ....... you can tell when businesses use better products to serve customers. Unique and cute! I will go here from now on even if I need a special cake made!! I’m not even a sweets girl but I’m hooked !!

This place is great. I’m not sure why there are any bad reviews. The variety is amazing and the donuts are great. So many different chocolates. The staff is very friendly to. Will be a good place to come for years I hope.

May want to replace the staff working on ladies night out. Was greeted with whos ready to order?, no hi, hello or thank you. The chocolate was simply placed in my hand with no paper or napkin. Thats a dollar, nothing was rung up.

I had 3 different birthday cakes made for my kids birthdays. Each one was absolutely perfect! Exactly what I wanted from pictures I gave. And the best part was how delicious they were!! Everyone was asking where I got the cakes!!

I love locally owned small business. Other businesses that neighbor this establishment (FOGS) recommended me to come here. While I agree with most, that the treats, especially the Cannolis, are wonderful. That being said I also agree with some that the staff needs to be spoken to, I felt so unwelcome from the young lady that was working there. She was visibly annoyed that we didnt know what we wanted the second we stepped into the store, her glare was so uncomfortable that I told her if she had other things to do to please go and do it and I would call her when we knew what we wanted. She didnt leave and continued to just stare and look annoyed. That was about two months ago and I havent went back, I am currently looking for birthday cake and cupcakes which is how I ran across this listing and decided to review my experience. I would love to call and order some cupcakes but I have questions and dont want to deal with someone that would be annoyed to answer them.

The owner was very helpful and was willing to make whatever I had in mind as well as let me taste test all of them. Not only are her cheesecakes delicious but so are the cannolis. Supporting local business is the way to go!

Those cupcakes were the best I’ve had in a long time!!! They were perfect. LOTS of frosting (The new bakery has less than half that amount for more money) and it was moist, flavorful cake. Loved it! Too huge to eat in one sitting. Perfect for two.No, there’s no ‘up front’ parking but 20 feet isn’t too far for any of us to walk. Lol.

Adorable owner/operator that truly knows how to make delicious treats. I suggest and highly recommend giving the Chocolate Boutique a whirl, especially if you like sweats! This place was a huge disappointment. Its taken me forever to stop in because theres no on site parking. We finally had a chance to park and walk over and there is a bunch of bulk-buy goods put in bakery cases on cheap dollar store plastic trays. Id be shocked if anything there was actually made from scratch, let alone even in Michigan. I dont know how they stay open?!

Teresa wholeheartedly accepted my order and said I could pick them up at requested time.Today, Saturday 9/21/2019 at 9am: I picked up my order. The contents were correct and the pretzel rods ( used instead of toast to dip into yolks of our game day breakfast eggs...try it, youll love it) were very fresh and mouthwareingly good. I got a chocolate cupcake with buttercream vanilla icing for my girlfriend. I tried some of it and nearly wanted to steal it from her because it was one of the best tasting cupcakes I had ever had in my life. Which I really really surprising because I usually HATE chocolate cake and buttercream icing. I would definitely come back.

Young man behind the counter was friendly but not knowledgeable. He packed my items poorly. Cannolis were barely wrapped and all the fruit from my mini cheesecakes were up ended. The cannoli had a nice flavor but really gritty texture. Cheesecakes were excellent.

Sent my husband there to get cupcakes for a friends birthday, they were hard & dry and could not give them to anyone. Hands down the worst cupcake Ive ever had, went in the garbage. Who would sell week old cupcakes to people and expect them to return.

Best cannollis Ive had!! Creamy and delicious!! So many other delicious baked goods as well!I had a peanut butter, chocolate mousse brownie type dessert that was smooth and delicious as well!! So many amazing flavors of mini chessecakes! Yum!!

Awesome place to go for all of your chocolate making needs, molds, colors, flavors and oils are hard to find around Howell. They also keep their selection up to date with each season and are unique.

This place is amazing!! My family and I tried a couple different things and everything was fantastic. The cannolis are true Italian cannoli. I have had cannoli from other businesses in Howell and there is no comparison. The cupcakes are huge, moist and delicious. We also tried the cheesecake, the best I’ve ever tasted and they have about 10 different flavors in the size of a cupcake that is perfect for one and allows you to be able to buy a variety for a party or to take home for your self to freeze and eat at your leisure. If you haven’t checked this place out yet I highly recommend it.

Ok, first off. Allow me to respond to the poor reviews.No, there isn’t “on site” parking. But there is parking a whole 20 feet from the back door, in a public parking space. MOST stores in howell have the same parking situation.As a Howell native, I LOVE seeing small businesses in downtown thrive. This store has been here for about 2 years, and I just now had the chance to stop in. Everything we got is DELICIOUS. We got a few different sweets to try as an anniversary treat to ourselves, and everything we ate was followed by “omg this is so good!” Chocolate covered Oreos, Oreo cupcakes, and OMG the chocolate covered popcorn. All amazing and delicious. Breaks my heart go see this place get a 3.6 star review. I loved it, and will definitely be going back.
