Very impressed with my experience here. I needed a last minute tire change before leaving that evening for a roadtrip up north and not only did they fit me in an hour before closing without hesitation, but they also had great pricing and awesome staff! As a young woman I am often nervous about car places trying to sneak in hidden costs (which car guys have done an unfortunate amount of times), but I felt very respected here and appreciated how the staff was very thorough and fair. Would definitely recommend!

They told me stuff was wrong with my truck I just got done smh I said you didnt see all the new stuff... He said oh.. Smh horrible place. Will charged you for stuff you already had down.

Im really pleased every time I take my cars to Car-X in Hudson; the quality of work they do and the attention to my cars needs is always appreciated.

These guys helped me out of a really tight spot... I mean I didnt know what I was going to do and I called them and they told me... and even though I was flustered and swore a little bit they kept their cool and were respectful and kind... I mean literally I wanted to jump off a bridge and the guy like talked me down basically... and I think that used to be called Tires Plus which is labeled closed permanently but they are open and I think there are now called Car-X...

I give them six stars if it was available theyve been taking care of my vehicles on every trip up here from Arizona excellent work I trust no one to my new SS Camaro Car-X I did

I recently moved to WI, and drive into MN to work, and I wanted to be sure that my cars maintenance was up to date. Working with the store manager, Kris, was a great experience, I didn’t feel like I was being sold services I didn’t really need at this time. Nothing turns me off more than a pushy sales person, Kris took the time to look up my cars maintenance schedule, and went over what was due to be done and when. It was a positive experience, friendly staff, great service, I have found a reliable place in Hudson to service my car and will recommend this Car-X store to my friends and family. I would also, like to thank Hays, for is excellent service, I’ll be back for tires in the fall. Thanks again to Kris and his staff, for a great experience, you have no idea how much I appreciate having a place that I know will make sure that my car is well maintained now that I’m driving 100+ miles a day.

I bought tiers from this place. I need them rotated a service that was apart of the purchase agreement. I have called 3 times trying to schedule an appointment and they tell me they cant fit me in until next week for a 10 minute job.

I was dissapointed with car-X. I asked them to check my brakes and they didnt take off my drum. Also didnt look at my struts like I asked. I guess I will go to a real shop!!

Chris was amazing, brought my Durango for a loud ticking noise thinking it was my transmission. He walked me through the issue which was minor and didnt take advantage of my ignorance. Didnt charge me for going everything and his time. I will be telling everyone I know about Carx in Hudson Wi. Stellar service.

I am beyond impressed with this Car-X location. Kris the Store Manager, has unmatched customer service. He was patient, knowledgeable, honest, fair, and went above and beyond in every way possible. He was there every step of the way to assist me in making a big decision and the right decision when it came to replacing the engine in my daughters truck. It was a huge task to replace an engine. Kris and his staff worked very hard and had the engine in and ready to go in less than 2 days! Even worked outside normal hours of operation. After the work is done he still continues to provide follow up services to ensure everything is operating like it should.Kris takes pride in his work, and it really shows!!!!! Two thumbs way up not to just Kris but the entire staff! I’m 100% a loyal customer for all my cars service needs for life. Whether they like it or not!

Excellent Customer Service. Manager Kris gave me all options for the best pricing and I didnt feel like he was trying to make a big sale. I purchased 4 tires, new wipers, oil change and an alignment. By far the best price in the area for all my car needs. Highly recommend!!!

I went in for an oil change. They had a problem with the bolt that goes in the plug to my oil pan. I had him change it out and he came out to show me why which was awesome and I was really impressed. Price was right and told me to look into getting my transmission fluid replaced soon. Best service I have ever had. Will be going back and would recommend them to anyone

Right before the 4th of July weekend, a Check Engine light came on my Honda CR-V, which had me quite concerned, dreading that this could be a big expense to repair. I stopped in, spoke to the friendly front desk person, Donna, and she got me practically right in for the techs to look at my vehicle. The tech, Nick, knew just what to do to fix it, and now my car is running great (no more Check Engine lights)! So relieved and pleased with their work! They are the best people to help you with what you need! And best of all, they are nice, honest, straightforward, and they offer very reasonable prices. Tried to find a place today to fix my flat tire and every place I called said they were closed. Spoke to Chris at Car X and he was amazing! 10 minutes before they closed and I was back on the road.

Chris rocked it. Went in for a pre buy inspection. Totally worth the peace of mind.

Staff is excellent and kind. They do alot of extra little things to assure that you and your car is safe which is really respectful. They did the work relatively quick but also took their time to double check things. Definitely will be returning for my car needs.

I am so fortunate to have stopped at this store today 🤗. I needed an oil change, but for the past 2 years I have gone to Valvoline. Good thing I didn’t go there today because turns out, my battery needed replacing, a check that Valvoline doesn’t check for. I could have been stranded if I went somewhere else. Over the past few months, I have needed lots of maintenance/major work done on my vehicle(S). Kris has been able too offer and exceed my expectations on all the work done! I had visited this location late last year, and they had a different manager/store manager.... Kris is a HUGE bonus for this shop, customer service is definitely his strong suite and customer sanctification is his number one goal!!! Recommend this shop too all my friends and family!!!!!

I had a wheel baring go out on my Tahoe and needed same day repair. They squeezed me in and got it done before 6PM when they closed. They also changed the oil also. Awesome service! Very good pricing! Saved around $500.00 compared to other shops and Chevrolet dealer. I will be taking all of my vehicles there from now on.

Due to the winter weather around Thanksgiving, I needed new tires for my sons vehicle. I had tried three other places in Hudson, WI, but there were no appointments available. One location said I needed to wait until after Christmas. I then stopped at CAR X Tire and Auto and talked to Jason, the Store Manager. He was very helpful in tire selection for my vehicle and within hours, I was back on the road. I told my son to use CAR X for all future oil changes and services to ensure the tires are rotated at least twice a year. I was so glad that I had stopped and found a shop that will ensure my vehicle will be kept maintained very well. I recommend CAR X to all potential customers wanting great service and tires needs for their vehicles.

Great service! I was able to get my car in last minute before leaving on vacation. Jason got me in despite being really busy. The tires I needed were available the same day and he made sure everything looked good so I could feel confident driving it out of state. It was even cheaper than the dealership had quoted.

I came in unexpectedly on a Saturday when my car broke down after some part got damaged during an oil change at a different company’s store. I was an hour away from my destination and also about an hour away from home. Kris was great and got ahold of the other company to pay for the work Car-X was doing to repair the damage so I wouldn’t have to worry about that side of things too. He was able to get the part (that’s apparently hard to find), fix my car, and get me out of there in just under 2 hours. I was stressing over being stranded in Hudson, and Kris kept me updated very frequently. I’m SO thankful I went to this store and not somewhere else. Whatever they’re paying you Kris, it isn’t enough!

Friendly, knowledgeable. Tire prices were a bit higher than other area places I checked, but they were the only place that had a same day appointment, and he offered to discount the tires to the same price as others if I had the work done same day. Like all tire places, waiting area is modestly appointed, but it was clean.

I was very happy with the work I received at this Car-X location. Kris was awesome and handled everything with such professionalism.

Simple oil change.... they didnt put the cap back on. My engine is likely damaged because of this. Have had ok experiences in the past... but be cautious. I will never go again.

Complete SCAMMERS!!! Do not go! I had a seized brake caliper and they wanted to charge me almost $800 telling me I needed new rotors as well. So I brought my car to a different place the next day and they only charged me $300 and said my rotors were practically new! I cannot stress enough how big of a SCAM place this is just trying to make money off u!

Made appointment online and when I went in they couldnt find me on the schedule. Was very rude about it. They said that online appointments come in as emails and if they dont read their emails they wont schedule. Have done a ton of business when this was tires plus, now the service went down hill. Wouldnt trust this leadership and the people they hire.
