Went to R & S to purchase the flooring to finish our kitchen renovation and couldnt be happier with the results. Not only do they have a wide selection of flooring options with a spacious show room, but the service staff Lynn and Bob were both knowledgeable and helpful. They looked at photos of our new cabinetry and walls and made flooring suggestions that would be complimentary, allowing us to take samples of the various types of flooring home. As a result we were able to make a well informed decision and have a beautiful kitchen to prove it. The installers they used were both courteous and professional and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install new flooring.

Great locally owned and run flooring store. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable too. Prices are comparable if not better then the huge box stores. I highly recommend you give them your business and you will be satisfied.

Horrible Customer Experience! - INSTALL NIGHTMARE!!I was happy to use this company and pay a little extra to support local small business. The sales rep in the showroom was helpful and I appreciated their consultative approach. I was happy with the materials I had selected but upon install is where my nightmare began…This company sub-contacted a complete armature to install the material. He didn’t show up the day he was scheduled, was late again the second day. He didn’t even bring the crew additional help I was told he would have or tools needed to finish the Job. The overall work he was responsible for was shoddy and gave it the appearance of a home project.I had to contact R&S to have one of their direct employees come complete and fix what the subcontracted had done. Some examples were, he left spare material UNDER the floor, and boards were cut to the incorrect length and he even put my trim back on incorrectly.The most disturbing part of my experience was with the owner Bob who when given the chance to make the situation right gave me nothing but pushback and excuses. This was disappointing to say the least given the fact I had given him the business in efforts to support a local small business.This review is not meant to be a rant; I just want to forewarn any consumer that is considering using R&S to look elsewhere.

We finally purchased our flooring after taking home samples. The gal helping us had a good decorator eye and the one she suggested is the one we purchased. We always go to them with flooring.

If you are looking for flooring, stop by and check. The last carpeting we bought (two bedrooms) we stopped by here and was pleasantly surprised...they had carpet we liked at a good price. Unlike other sellers, they do price removal, padding and install separate....so you might need to crunch some numbers to determine YOUR best deal.The service was personalized...the person working knew several carpets that were similar at different price points, and helped up find the right one for us.

I have used R&S Flooring for years and have been extremely happy. However, they recently placed a vinyl flooring in one of my dental operatories which has been a nightmare. Evidently when they replaced the carpet with wood laminate, they did not install a vapor barrier or remove all the adhesive from the original carpet. The result is glue seeping up through a couple of seams on my floor. I addressed my concerns to the director in charge of this job, and he said there was nothing they could do about moisture. He had a flooring person pull up a few boards and said they couldnt do anything about a problem that was coming from outside. Now the areas are even worse in that more glue is coming up. I am so disappointed after all the money that I have spent over the years with this company and they just wont take care of this issue. Researching the material it is not rated for this kind of situation, and so I will have to replace the floor entirely. I just wanted to share my experience because it really is not the way a customer should be treated. Hardly professional.

I have used R & S Flooring for 17 years. They provided all of the original flooring for our house we built. We have used them anytime over the years that something needed to be updated. Recently we used them to refinish about 1800 square feet of hardwood flooring on our first floor. We knew we had to be out of the house while it was done so we scheduled it during our kids spring vacation. We dreaded the process and frankly I was concerned about having people in my house while I was not there. The owner Bob St Onge assured me everything would be OK and even brought his crew over ahead of time to meet me and give me a comfort level. The team was led by his grandson and that made me feel good right away. They came over the day before our departure and moved the furniture and rugs. The floors had years of wax build up (my mistake), very faded areas from rugs and a terrible rust colored pet stain. They were not sure how it would come out but assured me they would do their best. We came home to floors more beautiful than the day we moved in. I called Bob on my return to thank him and pay my balance due. I mentioned that an outlet wasnt working that my hot water heater was plugged into. He said hed call his electrician and have them call me. They called me and were here in 20 minutes (literally) and resolved the problem. I called Bob back and thanked him for such a quick response. R & S has treated me well for 20 years and done everything they ever said theyd do. I highly recommend them. P.S. Ive read a comment or two from dissatisfied customers. All I have to say as a fellow small business owner is take those with a grain of salt. I know how you can run into a customer with unrealistic expectations and given the power of the internet make them look bad. My experience of nearly 20 years is the type of review you should pay attention to.

Were sorry that the customer had an unhappy experience with R&S Flooring America. Weve been in business for 40 years, and its rare that one of our installers doesnt show up on time. That installer, who has experience working with the product this customer ordered, also had a couple of issues with installation. We promptly came out and fixed those issues, but because we know the customer was inconvenienced, we gave him a significant discount on his bill, too. Wonderful experience......nice, informative people on the sales floor, quick turn around on the installation........installers arrived on time, did a nice job and left my house clean and vacuumed !!

Just was interviewed by Eric. The address is 9 flagstone dr. Hudson NH,03051 they changed names again its ACS flooring now. Wrong name and address hmm. not a good fit for what, If you cant communicate credentials stay out the market. National floors direct it look like for me. The receptionist never emailed a itinerary for direction nor disclosed the the job description. Just told me were on the street next to MacDonalds in the industrial park. Im from Berlin and live in Hudson to know we have a MC ds. Eric must of been the Mercedes from NJ. Implied theirs no MacDonald around here when its 100ft down the rd across Walmart. Had to google address for three to show up. No website, I was asked about my prior experience in flooring as a account manager after discussing my reputable employment history. I was told he wouldnt think I would be a good fit. If i get a call ill here by them tomorrow. Sorry I was still never told what you were hiring for and after your reviews I think ill pass. Very unprofessional interview. They work with cheapo depot what do you expect. I wouldnt trust that place w/ a dollar of my money.
