We have been using Key Auto for awhile and feel that they are 100% honest and fair. Whether it is a simple oil change or tricky diagnostics, they always come through. It is so nice to be known by name and treated like family. Even after we moved farther away from the shop, we still go back for the amazing service. I had a great experience with key automotive! I brought my Silverado in to have them replace my front struts and an oil pressure sending unit. From quote to completion the service was exceptional. Steve has an encyclopedia of vehicle knowledge stored in his head and cares about his customers. Honest vehicle repair at a fair price!

Had a blower replaced 4 months ago and under warranty..... When and with the exact same problem they did a diagnostic test and didnt tell me it was going to cost anything and when I went to pick up my car they told me it was something completely different even though it was the exact same issue that I was having four months ago. I refuse to pay took my car in the owner respectfully told me to get the F out of his store. He did not like when I told him I was going to get a second opinion he instantly went to me and my family are not allowed in his store. Do not go here

Not Good. Very Bad. Went to have warranty work done. They called and told me I needed new brakes. This was unrelated to the warranty work. They said I needed new brakes. They said they could not remove the back brake drums on my 2009 GMC SIERRA. Told them not to fix I would do them myself. They told me I would break my drums if I tried to take them off myself. Well I got them off with no problem, used the brake adjustment tool as one should. Found that they had broken the wheel cylinder and keeper spring and post when they tried to remove them without backing off the pads. As should be done. Went back to have it repaired and they refused to fix what THEY HAD BROKE. TOLD ME NEVER TO COME BACK. Note if I had not taken the next day to fix my breaks it could have lead to a catastrophe

Every experience is the same --- honest, practical, economical, and the work they do is solid. I can send my kids in with their cars knowing they wont be taken advantage of by Steve and his staff, theyll get what they need and get good advice.

Purchased a Deka Battery 1/17 and it’s dead today, called the manufacturer and they said there’s a 2 year warranty on the battery. So I called the Key Automotive where I purchased the battery and they cannot help me because they don’t keep tabs of any records unless you have a business account, just a joke and they are local. Sucks I have to go to forest lake to Napa or Autozone for 2018 record keeping. So my advice is Key Automotive May be close to where you live but if you lose your Receipt good luck to you.
