We enjoyed this place. It is a small place but really nice. Staff was friendly. Beer selection was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ive been here a few times over the years. Its a super cozy place with friendly staff and a huge beer selection. It doesnt seem commercial at all, and it honestly feels like having a beer on your own back porch. Its in a quaint part of town that is away from heavy traffic, so even sitting out front by the road you dont even notice the cars. There is also plenty of seating in the back and on the sides, and the plants are beautiful and well kept. Highly recommend.

Not much to say, nice little bottle shop and brewery, in an old coverted house. They even have a few wines on tap. Tiny parking lot, most people park in the grass behind it.Its a bit difficult to get a drink, as its hard to tell who actually works there, the staff looks exactly like the customers, no uniform of any kind. Also, there is not really a formal bar to order from, so you are kind of left hoping someone notices you dont have a drink.Not a bad place, but there are better places, that make their own beer, within just a couple miles.

Love these guys.They (by far) have the best selection of craft beers in Huntersville (maybe on Charlotte).They must have over 12 beers on tap with no taps wasted on Bud, Bud light or Miller Lite.They also sells Kegs, if you didnt know. The selection in this area truly blows away the competition. Especially Total Wine.Check them out! You wont be disappointed.Oh and did I mention they even will come out a tap in your house?

The in stock supply is always full of new and regular mainstays. Not mask exemption friendly! Was told only table service, table behind me came out of shop with 2 Hop Drop & Rolls. Was told wrong WiFi password. Was told my IPA was $6.50, she hands me the tablet with $7.00 beer and $7.58 total. I didn’t come here for 8 years obviously for good reason. Toodles

My first time with my family, and it was very nice.. Theres also a food truck called MIKES VEGAN COOKOUT!! The food was the BOMBDIGADEE!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful and awesome. Try this food truck if youre in the area. However, there not at this location.. Go to there INTERWEBS @MIKESVEGANCOOKOUT!!

Just come with either a full stomach or be ready to grab a slice of pizza from down the road as they do not offer any food options.

Definitely a cool place to try some different beers. Now, this trip was a bit odd for me as a didnt actually DRINK at Crafty Beer Guys. We were there for a fundraiser for Fight the Good Fight. I did get a chance to browse, and they have a good selection. The taproom is tight, and you need to be crafty to navigate it. See what... nevermind. 😁 Its a great place to check out if youre in the area.

I stopped in for some beers to take back to my hotel. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was good. I wish I had been able to hang out and drink a couple of pints.

This is one of our favorite local bars. We go at least once a week and usually more than that just to hang out with our neighbors and the staff. Everyone is so chill and nice, and its a wonderful place to bring family. We take our 1-year-old, and the staff treat her like a princess. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Crafty.

Crafty Beer Guys had been our go to place for a long time. We used to go a few times a week and had a blast. We love Ryan, Leah and Josh and they would know what we liked (even if we werent sure what to choose) and would have a beer poured when they saw our faces. Then the new owners happened.I met the new guys and they were making some decent changes aesthetically. They SEEMED like good guys, until they werent.One of the reasons we all went there so often was because of the people who work there. The best bartender, Ryan,was fired this week and was told he wasnt a good fit. Wasnt a good fit? He worked there from the beginning and brought in so many customers!!He was the face of Crafty Beer Guys!Letting him go in the manner which they did was not only a slap in the face to Ryan, but to all of the customers in the last four years that he welcomed into CBG and made it such a fun experience!The new guys said they didnt care about the beer people ( Um..... isnt it called Crafty Beer Guys?) as they want to make this a place more Uptown.If we want Uptown.... we go to Uptown!They are destroying such a great business. Well find another place to spend our money where the owners actually appreciate their loyal employees and customers.

Amazing beer selection, and great for meeting with friends as there is no loud music, and there are plenty of areas to sit and hangout. The outdoor seating areas are great, and come with heaters. The food truck is a great idea and is definitely a bonus.

Nice little bottle shop. It’s an interesting use of an old house. There weren’t a ton of draft options but they were a pretty varied selection, so most anyone could probably find a beer they like.

Quaint little bar that is located inside a legit house on the edge of a residential neighborhood. The interior is kind of small, so I imagine it can get cramped on a weekend, but it wasnt so bad when I went. They also have trivia on Tuesdays, which was really fun and pretty challenging.

Cozy atmosphere as its a house turned into a bottle shop with lots of chairs and a few couches. TVs usually have a game of some sort and they are interespaced throughout the shop.

This is a great place to meet friends or to grab some bottles/cans that might be hard to find elsewhere in town. Almost always a food truck, but be sure to get there early as they can sell out. In that case, there are some places nearby that you can walk to to get take out. Can be noisy inside, since its close quarters and sometimes no seating in or out, but thats because its quite popular.

Dropped 60 bones on some great brews. Service was awesome as well as selection. Will definitely come back when I am in town for work.

Was there on 5/4/2019, beer not cold at all, the bearded fella argued that it is kept at 45F but then he said they have ~30FT supply lines, totally missed the source of the issue and obvious solution, plus he had an attitude (observed arguing with another patron), used to be a better place to hang out, try different beers. I wont go back there again, too bad....since I am a Liverpool fan as well!

Ive been a Crafty regular literally since they opened their doors. Ive brought dozens of people through the doors for the first time. Never again. This place has gone from a quaint, homey place with a quality beer selection to just another generic beer bar with money-grubbing ownership. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

The owner was caught taking tips that belonged to the staff. When their best employee stood up to fight for what he earned he was fired. I will never support a business like that. Its best to stay away from here and follow your favorite bartender to his new place. Thats what I did.

I just love this place. Im usually up in the Huntersville area on Saturdays in the late morning and early afternoon. Located in an old house close to the little downtown and Discovery Kids this place is awesome. Even early on a Saturday Craftys is open, the bar staff is great, they have a rotating selection of beers and have a vast and broad selection of bottles and cans to meet your desires. The beer is fresh and we enjoy sitting outside on the front porch and chillin over a beverage or two. There is also always a BBQ truck when we are there that is good. They have a front patio and recently added a rear deck. Highly recommend!

This place is a gem north of Charlotte for beer lovers. Customer service is amazing, both in person and online. I sent them a message a couple of months ago asking about a beer that was getting a release on the west coast they responded quickly and promised to let me know when it was here. The day they got it, they remembered to send me a message.

If you like craft beer, you would be remiss in not stopping by here to say hello to the friendly staff and trying a few beers on tap! Also, these guys are responsible for installing most of the taps that you see in the craft breweries around Charlotte.

We have been here a couple of times to have a beer after work and always gotten great service but tonight we witnessed the owners fire one of the bartenders with no notice. They tried to sweep it under the rug as he was visibly (and understandably) upset, not saying anything to the patrons after the scene he caused and callously laughing as they poured themselves another round. We will not be going back. Crafty beer guys indeed.

Crafty beer guys is a place that makes you feel at home without having to actually beer there; they have a friendly staff, cozy ambience, and decent beer selection (with lots of local choices on tap and in bottles and cans). I also really like that their trivia is playable by the average person.

I love this place for so many reasons.1) Because its the best drinking spot with variety and low prices near my house. Proximity is important.2) They have an extensive outdoor seating area so on nice evenings it is perfect. They also have some yard games.3) Its just a very laid back environment. The bar staff is helpful and friendly. You can bring food with you and no one is going to make a stinky about it (a friend and I showed up with a pizza, not a word).4) To reiterate the prices you cant beat.5) ANNND the variety is insane. For beer they have a room temp area to choose from, and you can throw it in their chiller. Or they have a fridge of already chilled beer (smaller selection), as well as several options on tap. Then, if youre more of a wine enthusiast, they have a decent selection of wine as well.Everybody wins. Go here and you wont regret it.
