I mean, it’s kilwins! It’s simply the best! The most delicious fudge and ice cream. We relocated from Michigan so we have been lucky enough to have had their fudge most of our lives. Our son enjoys their treats as well. Stop by Birkdale Village & have dinner, watch a movie and cap the night with this sweet place!

It was sugar paradise. My second time at this establishment in 3 days. Was hoping to go again before I left for California. I was not disappointed. There were eight in our party and it is a unanimous decision in favor of another trip when we come back.

It was my first time at Birkdale Commons and all I have to say is YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazingly comforting confectionery treats. The hot chocolate is to die for! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. The employees genuinely looked happy to work there and help the customers.

There are a lot of ice cream flavors. The ice cream is soft and creamy. Very smooth almost like gelato. The smores, pecan and rocky flavors are delicious. The are many options for chocolates and fudge, with options like filled chocolates, truffles, chocolates with different types of nuts, dark, milk and white chocolate, caramel, pretzels, orange peel and more. They have beautiful gift boxes perfect for any gift. The store also sells their own brand of chocolate per pound, great for home chocolatiers or bakers. They offer ice cream cakes and caramel apples. Just wish the staff was more friendly and polite.

Love that they have Superman ice cream. I get it everytime I go there. I’ve never been able to find it anywhere else💔

Love there chocolate covered marshmallows. Everything I’ve tried. Ive liked. They do really good on there sweets. My favorite is key lime fudge but they didn’t have it at this store,i have only found it in key west.

This kilwins is located in Birkdale. Not only does kilwins have yummy flavors of ice cream, they also have other yummy treats such as Chocolate, chocolate covered strawberries, caramel apple and much more... Its also a bonus where this shop is located. Birkdale is a beautiful place you can go and relax. From other restaurants to enjoying an ice cream treat with the family outside on a bench or on a blanket in the grass area. My husband and i love going here and grabbing a nice cold treat. HIs favorite flavor is the superman ice cream and so far i enjoy trying a different flavor each time we go. If you havent tried this place i highly recommend it. Enjoy

Bill and Stefanie run an amazing business! Their staff are always so polite and helpful. I have a son with autism and he loves to go here after work. He enjoys getting to go in by himself, order and pay without me. I am always pleased by how understanding the staff is to him and patient.

We recently moved to the area from Connecticut and we couldn’t be happier to have found them. From the ice cream to their marshmallow with caramel or chocolate bars you can’t go wrong. It’s absolutely delicious!

From the outside the place looks lovely and the aroma inside is inviting but I expected more from a $6 Cone of IceCream. The Waffle cone was warm, which I’m assuming means it was made on site and recently to when I’d ordered, but it caused my IceCream to melt fast and I ended up throwing it away because it soiled my clothes and the flavor I got was pretty bland. The same thing happened to my family members as well and the Temperature outside was around 78 Degrees which isn’t too hot so I was surprised it melted so fast. If you’re going I suggest you either order a small cone or get your IceCream in a cup to avoid soiling your clothes.

Horrible customer service today. I asked for a punch cards before she even rang me up, she didnt give them to me so I asked again after I paid and she told me that I would have to wait untill she helped the next customer. I was suprised to see on her name tag that she was the owner. After spending $30 and bad service I wont be back.

I travel from Lakewylie sc often just for the apple pie Carmel candy apple for my love and each time he never knows Ive traveled to the moon and back just for him.

The best Ice Cream in Birkdale! If your taking a walk and want an ice cream stop at Kilwins! If you have a large stroller it gets difficult to move in the store. The place is pretty tight. And there are multiple stands that are near the line, so it seems like the place is tight when there is a larger crowd.

I love this place. The ice cream is great and they have a lot of homemade candies to choose from. Its always busy on weekends but the line moves fast due to the great service. They will let you taste the fudge before you buy too. It is definitely worth a trip to Birkdale Village just to visit Kilwins.

The chocolates here are outstanding. Some of our favorite treats are the Tuttles, the chocolate covered rice krispies and the sea salt caramel chews located just by the register. Awesome place!

We have found this place a while ago. So we decided to have a birthday party there . Since the kids were a little older we choose the adult package. Honestly more then affordable . It was phenomenal . What a unique experience for the kids . They got to make treats, and decorate them. It also included a scoop of there great ice cream .Thank you for making our daughters birthday party extraordinary !

I love their cappuccino chocolate chip is so delish! Staff is super friendly and they got a massive selection of sweets to pick and enjoy. Not counting the ice cream.

This is one of the first places that I visited when I first moved to Charlotte. We met the owner and some of the family. A year later we went and we struck up another conversation and they remembered my family. I was really surprised by that.The most important thing however is their goods. My wife loves the fudge, my kids love it as well, and I love the rum raisin ice cream. I have only gotten good customer service and tasty things from this place.

My husband and I used to love going to kilwins as a sweet little treat from time to time. Now we get to take our little guy. I love the smores ice cream and so does my son. The workers are always extremely friendly and courteous. I made sure to get chocolate boxes as thank you gifts to the women who threw my baby showers and they loved them as well.

Oh my goodness, do not go here... The ice cream is amazing and the chocolate is to die for. Just ate about 3000 calories...
