My sister and I came here today for the first time and had a lovely experience. The staff was so helpful and kind, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is wonderful. They have a large variety of pieces to paint and a great selection of colors and brushes. Will be returning very soon to finish painting our pieces.

I had a great time. Wife took me there to get my mind off things for a little while. Very friendly staff and clearly a favorite for lots of folks. It was busy.

We had a birthday party for my 8 yr old. It was a little expensive but compared to other party places it was not bad at all. Very attentive staff. Relaxed environment. We were able to bring in food and cake for the party. Overall great experience and the birthday girl was so happy!

We had such a nice time in here! It was very casual, but there were SO MANY paint and ceramic options. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The two shop dogs were friendly and chill. I bought a 3yo girl, a 5yo boy, and me (Im 30), and all of us found something awesome to paint. I liked the prices, the punch card, the membership system, the location, and that we didnt have to make a reservation.

Don’t waste your time. Find some where else to go. I don’t usually leave reviews but this warrants it. I have been a member of Meg arts for years and have spent thousands of dollars here. They are no longer honoring coupons. They are charging you for paint. They only give you 6 colors regardless if you buy 4 items. What a rip off!! I guess anything to make a buck and profit off of Corona.Update to reply; You are correct, I received 7 paints. However, I was not offered any additional colors for the additional items I purchased. I was in store picking up at the end of March. When I asked about additional colors for the extra items, I was told the little cups would go a long way and extra colors were an extra charge. During my second visit, I was also at the store when I was trying to use my coupons and I was told you weren’t accepting coupons because no one was being allowed into the store and I had to order online. A wasted trip in gas and time for my family. Your employees should understand the complete policy or as the owner you should always be there during this time of uncertainty.

Meg-Art is awesome! The To-Go kits have been keeping me sane during this stay at home order! The George family is so helpful and so amazing and will help you with all of your artistic endeavors! Great place to paint. My granddaughter loves it. Very friendly and helpful staff. However, staff does not wear masks. Covid procedures are posted but the staff doesn’t wear their masks.

We had a group of 6 this last weekend, this was our first time here at this studio. I have to say it was so wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful. Plus there’s so many pieces to choose from to paint, and very clean. I will definitely come back to paint again.

This is a great place to relax and paint a figure of your choice. There is wide selection to choose from. The music is tasteful, and atmosphere is serene. The young ladies who work there are always helpful and friendly. Having the dog there at times is a real treat!

I have been to the studio twice, both experiences have been wonderful. The pottery selection is expansive, there is truly something for everyone! The supplies are in good shape and there are lots of paint colors to choose from. I will definitely be back!

Today was our first time here and my girls loved it. They have so many different items to choose from to paint. You pay one fee and everything is included. We had a great time and we will be going back. Its a lot of fun especially on a hot summer day where you can be creative and take your time and hang out.

Best place to paint pottery in Lake Norman Area! Great staff. Everyone is so helpful. If you need anything just ask, they keep some stuff put up so the little ones cant get it. Even when birthday parties are happening when you are there you will always feel welcome. Friday nights they have adults only!

Ive been here a couple of times and loved it. Its fun for a girls night or for a mommy daughter day. Anyone can actually enjoy going here because it is very family-friendly. Its generally quiet which allows you to talk to your family and friends while painting. There are a lot of pottery options to choose from and paints. There are also various tools and stencils to use on your pottery. The staff there is very helpful and friendly. I also like that you can bring your own food and drinks to share with friends and family. So much fun!

Mega-Art Pottery Max as I shall proclaim the new name! Large section of animals, pots, bowls, boxes, skulls, etc... Nice atmosphere, super nice employees to assist your every need to have an enjoyable experience. One set fee for object and come in as many times until you finish painting. Takes about week to return but well worth it. I have to say completion is tough because there are some very creative people out there...

There is one base fee for just the pottery, then you can come back as many times as needed to finish that one piece. Also the staff is super friendly and will help you with tips and tricks.

A little expensive but so fun. My son was invited to a party and had a great time. My husband and I painted something together while we waited and really had a great time.

We went to Meg Art for a team building and had a great time! I was very overwhelmed by all the choices and really had no sense of direction about how to paint my pottery. Megan was extremely helpful and helped me along the way throughout the entire process. Honestly, some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! It’s definitely pricey, but I haven’t painted pottery in a long time, so I’m not sure what industry standards are! Regardless, I would definitely go back and shout out to Megan, you rock!

This place is so much fun! I have been twice and had an awesome experience both times. They make it really easy to understand how everything works - the price with the pottery you choose is your actual price. There is no additional firing fee or premium glaze fee, it is all wrapped up in a nice clearly marked price tag. They are also great for a variety of ages, I can take my niece or grandma and know that we will have a great experience either way. They also have expresso- awesome, right?!?

This is the most relaxing place to be. The different items they have for you to paint is endless. I find something else I want to paint every time I look around the place. Take your time choosing, unless you already know what you want. We spent at least 20 minutes figuring out what we wanted. The pieces came out absolutely amazing after being fired. Take your time here and relax. Its worth it.

The ladies that work their are really nice and the pottery is priced $10 and up depending on what piece you pick (it includes the paint and the pottery in the price. You can get a snack, coffee, or milkshakes. Very artistic place if you need help learning a painting style or need to know how to use something one of the friendly employees are glad to show you in a mini hands on. The birthday discount is your age plus seventeen. Then the combine total of that minus one hundred so very good for the younger people but still very good if you paint quite a bit. I met the owners very nice people. Lots of cool stuff to pick from and something for everyone. If your a pro at painting or a beginner its a lot of fun be sure to bring a friend or loved one and bud some memories.

Its a little pricy but i honestly think its so worth it! I remember coming one time as a kid and always wanting to come back. Recently came back as an adult with my best friend and its just as fun as I remember!

Ive been coming to Meg Art for almost 20 years. Its a yearly tradition to paint an ornament each year, but I also love coming in with friends. They have a great variety of pottery to choose from and the staff is always super friendly and helpful.

I do not consider myself a crafty person by any stretch of the imagination. But this place makes me feel like a crafty person! I love that everything you do is fool-proof, meaning pencil marks burn off in the kiln, paint can be sponged off if you make a mistake. They even have templates you can trace and idea books to thumb through. The staff are super nice, supportive and helpful. I just cant get enough of this place!

Service was great, but I really do hate going on days with birthday parties. Noise is one thing, but the parents seemed oblivious to behavior of these kids. Running around in a place filled with breakables and bumping into people who are trying to paint isnt appropriate, but none of the parents or staff do anything about it. Greatly prefer it when theres more attention paid to everyones enjoyment.

I cant express the amount of joy I get when I come and paint here. The staff are amazing. The George family is amazing. The painting is amazing. Me and my mother have come here almost every Friday for the past 5 or so years. If you enjoy being crafty at all youll love it here. Its addicting and fun for everyone.
