Im at Walmart on Beach Their are Two In HB One Is Neighborhood Market and The Other Is The superstore on Talbert its more of a big box and the answer to consumerism and they are helping to build a stronger China so they can take over the world and its worth it to save a dollar on a bottle of cheap shampoo! Its better to look good than to live free! This one has a meat department and a produce department the meat department is lame I dont think Walmart should have anything to do with meat. I must disclose that Im still mad at Walmart for accusing me of stealing a bulb for my brake lights but still I would never buy meat from them. Something about it just isnt right

Love this Walmart! My first time there and everyone was lovely! Great customer service, good prices (I even think their prices are better than the Walmart Super Stores!) and clean, organized and well stocked. I will definitely go out of my way to visit this Walmart again!

I go there to get my oatmeal cups that most of the other grocery stores dont have. Checkers are always friendly.

Just moved into the neighborhood and this was the first place we stopped to shop to stock up my fridge, all employees were very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this place 👌👍

This is smaller than a super center or a regular supermarket. Some choices are very limited but they have most of what you need. My biggest complaint is I am a W+ customer and there are NEVER, NEVER, NEVER any available pick up or delivery times available!! I had to go to Santa Ana to have pick up service. They need to add more availability or workers. I can look for times in the middle of the night, morning or evening and NOTHING.

This is the place for chicken breast. Price range is 8-12 us dollars,,,,put in the freezer bags,,, after cutting in half....put the haves in each ziplock bag. Tool the bags perfect and seal with no air,,,place in the freezer. No problem,,, later just pour in marinade,,,even frozen, wait, stir fry with in three hours,,,or eat,,, in one hour. I have been getting my chicken breast here since the store opened,,,plus pulled in to see how the construction of the underground electrical for 8 years, so now what?

Good selection in a small space. Plenty of parking and long hours. Try their bake-at-home pizza - its surprisingly good and fresh. They also have a variety of gourmet sandwiches and salads ready to go.

I hope they stay open in Costa Mesa Please get more stock like you use to we shop there for all the holidays! Quick service. No qualms bout leaving this review just cuz its a Walmart. They greet you when arriving and say bye when you leave - thats TJs level friendly, but not why I go there. The produce section is great, running the gambit of the entire garden. Even stock the ever-elusive leek and avocados are always super cheap. Everythings actually very affordable compared to the major grocery stores. Meat section had ground CHUCK and not just boring ground beef - which is leveling up your burger game IMO. They even had UNFLAVORED protein powder which I had been looking for at all the fitness supp stores to no avail, but BAM there it was! I was amazed. This is now one of my first go to stores when I need anything. Totally unexpected, so youll never see them coming.

This location has everything in stock, no empty shelves here! Although the parking lot is big, it can take a while to find a spot during happy hour due to the surounding bars.

This Walmart store is more of a supermarket than it is a regular Walmart store you can find many different food items that you cant find at a regular Walmart store theyre frozen section is very large. They also have a nice bakery section. The produce section has a large variety of foods including organics. Its always less crowded than the Walmart in Huntington Beach on Talbert avenue.

You spend more time in line when you do buying your stuff no help no one knows anything that works there you have to talk to the manager the one that shows whos manager and hes never available

Walmart pharmacy is always very polite and even remembers your name. They notify you when youre prescription is ready and if u forget to pick up theyll remind u again.

While this is not one of the largest Wal-Marts I have been in, it represents the best of the items that are carried and has the same prices as a larger store. I have not frequented Wal-Mart due to the large distances I thought needed to be traveled to enter one of their locations, now that I have found this location, I will more frequently return. From a grocery standpoint they have several aisles of dry goods, several aisles of refrigerated and frozen foods, as well as decent sized produce section. The meat and bakery items are there, although small. As I have not spent significant time shopping this store, or noting the quality of its offerings, I suspect that the known Wal-Mart experience remains in tact.

The store is great for convenience but the pharmacy leaves something to be desired. They are supposed to price match and the tech couldnt figure it out so I overpayed. And she kept talking about a flu shot, which I didnt appreciate because thats not why I went there.

Very rude staff. I used mobile gift cards and was treated terribly... One employee named Icella or something like that who is a supervisor cause she approves overrides put her name tag in my face literally within inches of my eyes when I asked for her name... She was very rude and had her name tag flipped over so I couldnt see her name cause obviously she knew she was in the wrong... I will be putting in a complaint to corporate about her which I never do... I aint one to report people at their jobs cause I understand everyone has bad days and would feel terrible if they got fired... I know people need their jobs and have family to take care of. But she was rude again the last time I was in the store And let her know I got the walmart payapp which is what she was originally upset about. And the night staff is always rude and judgemental towards me and i am tired of it.

Typical neighborhood Walmart. Smaller than a normal Walmart but has all the essentials a good prices. Best place to shop probably near the beaches of Huntington. They have some beach paraphernalia accruments if you are looking for those things.

I stopped there to rest for a little bit after driving for 6 hours figured it would be a good place to sit for a minute and relax. Hadnt even been 10 minutes in the staff at already come outside to tell me to leave before they called the police. Walmart generally doesnt have a policy about that but this store has a policy. But you really should tell you all that you need to know about how this Walmart feels about its community.

My biggest thing is the customer service which is horrible. Besides that it is simply a little neighborhood market so they wont have too much to offer!

Never going again! Bought a gallon of water and noticed it was leaking as I was exiting the store. I immediately turned around and told the checker and they refused to give me a brand new one!

Went to buy Caligari as they have it listed as stocked. Was not. Went to another one, and found it there in Westminster. Not Huntington Beach.

We have shopped there ever since it opened! Love it!

This our neighborhood market and we do about half of our shopping here. I have to say that sometimes the pharmacy people can be a bit difficult. However Vivian is pretty nice.

A Runaway electric basket.Yesterday 10 7 2019 around 11:45 a.m. I went to in a money center counter first because no one was in line. I went to get the electric basket, as I sat down proceed to turn the button on. To move forward in the basket it acted strange I made my complete right u-turn. Want to make a right around the black rims, it wouldnt stop I ran into the display. I put it in reverse from the handle. It went into reverse okay but to turn it back around to move forward again it continually going without my hands on the handle. Ran into another display. I looked at the lady at the counter says look Im not even touching it and its still going and crashed into the Showcase. Frighten me to death. I jumped off. I was slightly shaking as I begin to feel the impact on my knees and my right hip lower back from the Whiplash impact. I told the lady at the counter you see this its going by itself.  So she moved the black railing thinking I needed more space to get closer to the counter. I tried moving the basket forward again, but it ran into the display walls with the gray sweatshirts.By this time I got off. Another employee walked up.The lady that was helping me name is Chi. Chi briefing tell her about the runway basket. So chi gets on the electric basket to move it in the back so no one else can use it she had the same experience scared to death. She was shaking a little bit herself. Trying to finish up my financial business, I couldnt concentrate or Focus too Shook Up. Chi offered me a bottle cold water from behind the counter in an ice chest coolant as I was leaving and that employee heard what happened and walk me halfway to my car.As I left realize little bit of whats happening, my sister says make a accident report because that could be very dangerous.So I made the accident report over the phone with the manager Jeremy Johnson store number 05601.Accident report claim number # L9156500 .I called today and got the claim number from manager of the day named Rick.Lets wait and see if corporate office or anyone get in touch with me.

I always feel like I got a good deal when I leave here. For the same Amy of money at any other grocery store is have about a third less food. I travel out if my way to go grocery shopping here.

One big draw back to this shopping center is the parking lot and traffic in & out.The store usually has a good selection but they constantly restock the shelves while patrons are shopping; sometimes blocking the aisles so you cannot get thru with a cart.The staff and managers can be quite rude when you have a complaint. Too often they have mislabeled the product pricing or have none at all.

Walmarts selection of plant based eating options, especially vegan options, is abysmal at this store!! For example, one selection of deli slices when there are probably 50 of meat, and the same for vegan cheese. Frozen selections are priced well, but the selection is very limited, and there are often empty shelves even during non-pandemic times! I cant afford Whole Foods Market, so I think Wal-Mart is missing out on a rapidly growing segment of the food supply chain that needs immediate attention! Wake up Walmart!

If I could give them negative starts I would. I CAN NOT BELIEVE how HORRIBLE their phone services are. I needed to check to see if a specific item was in stock before driving over & wanted to call 1st to check. I kid you not, I have been getting the dial tone for the last 30 minutes and still no one has picked up. Or when I tried to call earlier it would ring and someone hung up the phone. This is outrageous. This isn’t the 1st time this has happened. I am absolutely disappointed on their “on the phone” customer service. I know companies that would fire employees who didn’t pick up the phone after 3 rings. *update, just called VONS and they picked up within seconds.* Walmart, get it together.*

Hey like the one reviewer noted you cant really expect much it is Walmart...however nice people for the most part. The ladies at the Pharmacy all Rock!! Its also a great place for people watching...its right by the beach so you do get some interesting characters if your shopping out late. Parking lot can get kinda full at night especially on Fridays.
