After watching a YouTube video on how to change a fan light out, we attempted the change. After the change out the fan no longer worked and the light would not come on. We bought some replacement parts thinking we had ruined them somehow. Still no luck. We were going to bring the fan to the Trading Post to have them check it out. Their Service department recommended we have someone come out to do a service call. Wouldn’t do us any good if it worked there but no at our home. They recommended John Miller. Thank you John Miller as I told you in person, you are my hero. My fan works and so do the lights. Thank you Trading Post for recommending him.

Excellent selection of fans including many that you wont see at big box retailers. Price matching policy, Kevin was very easy to work with. Customer service after the sale could be better. Some parts were back ordered and we were never informed. Kevin did provide a loaner so we could continue with our remodel. They would receive 5 stars if Customer service follow through was better. They have the largest selection of ceiling fans I have ever seen. If you don’t like the choices you have at the big box hardware stores, this is a good place to go.The sales people know their stuff, and they have great customer service. I have purchased 4 fans from them and had no issues.

Trading Post Fan Company saved the day!I had a horrible ceiling fan installation experience yesterday with another installer. I was able to take my brand new fans to Trading Post and they quickly identified that one of the receivers was bad and replaced quickly. The other receiver that the installer said was bad was working properly. It makes sense because it took the installer about 2 hours to realize he was installing the blades upside down.They gave me a referral to Armes electric which I was easily able to call and schedule an appointment.I will certainly be coming back to Trading Post company in the future. The customer service was absolutely outstanding and they made me a customer for life!Thank you Trading Post team!Jeremy

We needed a new fan for our 20 ft x 16 ft family room with 20 foot ceilings. Jay was extremely helpful and patient in answering all of our questions - which size blades, length of downrod, brand, etc. We didnt see exactly what we wanted on display, but he brought out a book to help with our selection. It took about a week for our fan to be delivered. We are enjoying our new fan and appreciate all the assistance and knowledge which we would not have gotten had we purchased at a home improvement store.

No matter the quality of the product, eventually we will all have own experiences with a customer care/repair department. TPFC is significantly way above the big box experience. I left the store today not yet with a clear solution because diagnostics are pending, but knowing they are interested in building a loyal customer base not simply a sales department. Im just glad I live near by. Great shop and group of folks. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Pricing is as good or better than you will find on line. Avoid Home Chepo and other large box stores. They have a huge selection of good to great quality fans. After my recent purchase the manufacturer dropped the ball NOT TPFC. Notwithstanding TPFC stepped up and made the situation right. Unbelievable customer service from Kevin.Came in with a blade for a 37 year old Casablanca ceiling fan, purchased from this store in 1983.. Parts are no longer made for it, but Kevin found some remaining back stock and helped me restore my fan to like new. Wont wait another 37 years to come back, thats for sure.

The guys here were the best. They were so helpful in making decisions on the best fans to put in different locations. We were getting six fans so there was a lot to decide.They gave us a great deal and even shipped it to our home (out of state). I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for the perfect fan.

Purchased Minka Aire aftermarket remote for my hampton bay ceiling fan last year, still going strong.

I’ve had the worst experience dealing with this company. First all, I ordered two fans last week, they said they should be delivered to the store in 2-3 days. I call them to follow up on my order 4 days later, no one answers. So I decide to email the sales person that helped my husband his name is JAY GREENE. He completely ignores my email. I send him another email following up and instead of him apologizing for the inconvenience he asks right off the bat if I want a refund. How rude of him to ask that... if I wanted a refund I would’ve started off with that since the first email you ignored. All I wanted was my fans! I asked for a manager to call me instead and again he ignored it. These people act like they don’t need our business so why even go there? It’s been 9 days and no fans still. My husband called today again and they told him they shipped them to the wrong address. He asked to cancel and they said they couldn’t because they already shipped the new order to the correct address? That doesn’t even make sense!! It’s been a hassle dealing with trading post fan company. **Warning** Please save your time and money and avoid this place.

This place is INCREDIBLE 3 years after I got my fan here. I bought a ceiling fan here about 3 years ago. My ceiling fan remote got put in the dryer. I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to replace it googling everywhere.I called Trading Post... Hello, What’s your name, is this you ma’am? Is this the ceiling fan? Yes on your remote is 29$ bucks and I can mail it or you can pick it up here. I’m picking it up tomorrow. I never write reviews but this was so impressive.

Went looking for a simple canopy. Was told they were the top blah...blah in california. more interested is selling full fans. Do not supply mounting parts. Arrived. Guy was like I cant help you. Lowes had the canopy. 10 dollars.

The hours are misleading. I thought the store opened at 7. I was there early but the store didnt open till 10. I called the store and the on-line store opened at 7. Maybe this needs to more explicite . I took my business across the street to Home Depot.
