I love this place! I’ve been coming here for the past 13 years. It’s a very small bakery. The bread and the cake are delicious! The staff is very kind. And the it’s not expensive at all. Most of the workers speak Spanish only so if you don’t speak Spanish and you have a problem with them not knowing English very well that’s a personal problem. The staff is very helpful and respectful. Definitely recommend this place!!

For my 30th birthday this is the best 4 layer cake in Los Angeles.

We always buy cakes from carreon bakery everytime the vanidoso but this time we noticed that the cake look smaller the cheesecake part was smaller and pricier and also the cake tasted like it had been refrigerated for a while. I only put this review because I want the bakery to improve, it is not about the price you pay but the quality of it, I want them to improve so that they dont loose a very valuable customer.

I have been coming to this bakery for years until my last visit. I found out that the specialty cakes are now up in price and you cannot customize it no more. I mean really?? I have never heard of a bakery that would say no to a custom cake order. I even told the lady that I didnt care of the cost but she told me that the new owner made adjustments and custom and size for a 5 layer cake is no longer available. I stayed there for 30min trying to get this cake started but I kept getting the NO answer. Listen I love this place and the 5 layer cake is 🔥 but after this new management and new set of restrictions, I will no longer be coming here for specialty cakes. Sad that the new owner would let customers leave because a popular cake they sell is not available at any size any layer. Also there staff was telling me that they are losing a lot of customers because of the same thing. Honest staff, horrible owner.

Ive ordered cakes from this bakery several times and Ive never been dissapointed! The cakes are delicious!! Especially the 3 layer Conquistador cake. Its always a hit at all of my events. The cakes are amazing, however the presentation of the cakes is pretty basic. Their cake decorations are not too fancy BUT the person that helps me place my order always lets me know if they will be able to decorate my cake the way I want it or not. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Fyi Shop doesnt close at 9pm. They close by 8:30pm. Lady just looked at me and said no we are close when it was 8:40pm. I just wanted a cake that was already ready. I drove from Anaheim to get it and they cant even open the door. This the first and only time Ill be here.

Small bakery but variety of bread..parking limit . Its better if you get there from slauson so that way you dont have to turn to enter on pk..the cakes woww, you can make special orders and pick it up, prices reasonable..a little busy but I think the waiting, worth it.

Please do yourself a favor and go there tomorrow and buy the cake they call El Vanidoso, a cake so good, it suffers from extreme vanity. I can guarantee that some of you will call it the best cake you have ever tasted and others will say its among the best. They got lots of cakes and pan dulce too. Its a delicious delight.

Worst costume service I called to change my order came from Long Beach to pick up the cake and they couldnt find it. I guess they person who took the order didnt place it on Paper. To top it off there flies in the bread they cake could be good but this place is disgusting.

Worst customer service ever! We ordered a cake, paid it all off ahead of time & when we arrived to pick it up, it was not ready! The lady with the F-ed up eyeliner was really rude & was attending us with attitude.

As a repeat customer i agree in cakes they are great, as far as customer service it is the worst Ive experienced.Javier Carreon the owner needs to have more attention to customers.my waiting time to receive my cake was that of 3 hours i pce the order a week in advance. when i ask to speak to a manager. no one took responsibility. i asked for a vanidoso cake and ended up getting a 3 leches.not only was the order wrong. the customer service really, really sucked. i will start not to recommend this location.this not only happened to me but to 8 other customer that were very upset for having to wait 4 hours.sincerely, Onnis Flores

The truth is a horror the service the attention is terrible they treat you very, very badly and the ladies are very rude when you attend and you ask for one thing and they give you another, that is, terrible service.
