The selection isnt large compared to the size of the store. They could offer quite a larger selection. The employees I have came in contact with here are always friendly ☺️

Quick service cheap prices

Friendly staff, but they were out of several of the items I needed. I noticed many bare spots on the shelves throughout the entire store. My guess is that they may be understaffed.

Need to restock more often and turn on air conditioning and clear aisles so customers can find items and get through

STRESSFUL WASTE OF TIME, NEVER NO FOOD SHELVES ARE NEVER STOCKED. U CANT BLAME IT ON COVID, AR FIRST WHEN IT OPENED, THE PLACE WAS WORTH GOING AND SPENDING MONEY. SOME OF THE NEW EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE. PUT A SAVE ALOT THERE INSTEAD. DG IS YOUR BEST PLACE TO GO..

Closest to my house so I frequent here a lot. Has everything I need.

Very juvenile manager. I have overheard him mistreating the employees almost every single time I am in the store. He has asked me to call him when I see his girlfriend working. He is well known for asking women for favors. I feel bad for his workers. There is quite a few of us calling the main office to report his behavior. He has even told me that he would never get fired and to prove it. I only have to prove it to his main office. And I do have proof.

Convenient store to get most household goods. Saves a lot of trips to the Big Guys. Easy in and out. Decent selection of food and everything else you might need. It’s just a couple of blocks from home on 8th Ave.

Because prices are great. Nice things. And I love the house hold items. Very reasonable prices.

They didnt have what I needed in stock yet. They were restocking shelves. Will check back, convenience for the neighborhood as cvs closed. Good addition for the neighborhood.

Soda never on shelves....you want some faygo your stuck opening abox of it to buy it.over priced on some items but otherwise it ok and convinient

They have things in the dollar tubs makes down to a $1 but when they ring it up it comes to maybe $3or $4 bucks and when ask isnt that a $1 it says $1 they say well this what it rang up to be $3 $4 buck and I need a manager to give you a refund...(catch 22 they already ranged it up and handing you your charge clearly seeing its days a $1 on the package and push you to the side no manager or anyone never show or was cslled..To make matters worse the items I paid for 1 was busted and the other was broken but after the way I was ran over and on top of the 15 people in front of me and on 1 cashier working I wouldnt waste me time taking it back. They get 1 star because they were open.

For other food shop are such a travel. In such a low income area.

Most of the staff are helpful, the rest got the attitude of middle school children.

Goodness. 30 minutes in line is absolutely rediculous. Workers in the back not coming up front to help the one worker up front. I work in customer service and I know first hand that you must help your team. Will not be going to that Store again..smh.

I shopped here regularly due to living just on 20th. They were always nice until one night stopped to check some prices before my nightly walk with pokets full with a drink that was a regular water bottle filled with tea and wrinked some head phones and my wallet. As I looked around I touched nothing in the store and left before checking everything cause I figured Id look on the way back as I left I moved things around in the parking lot then took my walk when I swung back by this redheaded lady told me I was banned cause she saw me moving things in my pockets tried to tell her I had cords and things for my phone but still I got banned ... Didnt set of a buzzer or touch anything poor service and false alligations hear from others she do this quite often ..

It was ok, the ladies are a little racist, they greet everyone of the caucasian ethnicity but refuse to acknowledge African Americans when they walk thru the door.. I prefer to go to Dollar general because their customer service is excellent..

Cashier kicked me out for telling her about expired food. They were selling some milk on discount because it expired half a year ago. She got mad at me for calling them out. I was just trying to stop them from poisoning people. I got kicked out for it.

You would be better off going to a different store.Never are fully stocked.And never have what Im looking for....and never have professional employees.Just random plain clothed people.Less than a mile away.I will tell all my family to avoid this store at any cost

I recently went to the family dollar store located at 8th Ave an 21st in Huntington WV and it was a mess lots of stuff on the floor lots of open packages and and while I was shopping I over heard a worker talking about not going to clean up an put things away because the night staff didnt so why should she,otherwise I went into a family dollar at 14th St west and the staff was very nice an helpful an the store all though crowded it was clean.
