Went to try to get multiple parts for my deck railing which was damaged during the tropical storm. The deck is 15 years old. They didnt stock the balusters but the staff searched the yard hoping to possibly find one. No luck,so they actually researched a bit and sent me to a competitor. Great customer service.

Great home improvement store

Florence is such a well managed building supplies company. My contractor and I have been coming here for about a year now because I am remodeling my house. I have worked with almost all salesman at the counter and have not had a bad experience. I walk in and they all help me within five minutes. The showroom is clean and well displayed. The salesman are patient and show me around while explaining the best materials to use on my house. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

This place sells in bulk to businesses. Their sales team is super helpful and professional. But if youre Joe Blow trying to buy a single door, youre better off going to Home Depot.

I bought some standard doors from Florence and had a very mediocre experience (many unreturned calls and emails). Later, I tried to order a couple odd size doors (I only called them again to make sure I would get matching doors) and the salesman refused to tell me over the phone if he could make the sizes I needed. He just kept repeating some nonsense about their protocols requiring in-person approval of all door. I explained that I was willing to go in IF they could actually make the door but I didnt want to drive one hour each way just to find out they couldnt. FINALLY, after having same exchange about 5 time he reluctantly checks and they CANT or WONT make the size I need. The guy was going to completely waste two hours of my day and he wasnt even remotely apologetic. I quickly got off the phone with him but Im pretty sure he was starting to tell me once again about their new policies and procedures! Terrible, awful.

You walk and see about 5 desk attendants who ignore you and hope that you dont come to their station for help. First time I ever wrote a review for anything but felt like they needed to give them a slap in the face. Felt like I was bothering them asking them for a piece of siding I needed. Guess they hate their jobs. Wake up you idiots Im a CUSTOMER!!!!....well not anymore Im going elsewhere. Spoke to my other contractor friends and they all said the same thing.

Super helpful at counter everyone in yard should be fired. Prepare for at minimum a 30 min wait to just have someone get your ticket to pick you order
