My children bought me an air conditioner at home depot Huntington NY and the managers delivered and installed it within an hour! Chris and Andrea THEN I learn that it was a gift from HD!! I am overwhelmed.

I always LOVE going to the Huntington, NY store. They ALWAYS treat me like Family!! I sort of AM FAMILY as I worked there for 12 Years. I love the way The Home Depot gives back to The Veterans and other civic organizations. BRAVO THE HOME DEPOT

Some people may not like this but I do when an associate approaches me and asks me if I need help finding something as we all know home depot is large. Good job 👏. There have been times though when I cant find someone for help😔

Really never ceases to amaze me how grotesquely huge these stores are but that isn’t a bad thing. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful, everyone knew where to find things and accurately so, saving me a ton of time. The sheer assortment of options for items within a certain application and can be overwhelming but they only offer options that would be worth consideration and that will get the job done. I did wrong into an issue when I had keys cut that were poorly duplicated but I returned the next day and had them smoothened out.

Took someone to pick up soil and grass seed. They were very helpful.

I gave this location 5 starts. Over the last few weeks it literally has gotten worse. Employees allow this without face masks to cut you on line as priority. Then getting assistance is nearly impossible. You have to wait for a long time to have someone approach you and assist you while your standing in front of them. Just amazing in such a short time. Went form a 10 to a 0. Disappointing!

Mixed hard to say the huntington and deer park store was super helpful and the assistant manager i think hus name was ed was able to help. However the east northport and commack store sent me on a wild goose chase forcing me to go to store to store for about 6 hours.

On Sun, Nov. 15, I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of having Thomas Long as my cashier. He was personable and very nice to talk with and helped me resolve a matter with a light fixture I purchased that day. He actually said “I am here to serve and please the customers” which he actually meant!! He told me he was new and was still in training and was in all different departments. It was such a treat to see a young person interact with people and be pleasant and friendly. Kudos to his parents for his upbringing and kudos to the person that hired Thomas.Keep up the great work hiring young people just like Thomas.Linda Warner

I go often as they are close by. Today the carpet man Steve ignored us when saying excuse me to him 3x. Finally got up to help us find prices of unmarked area rugs. We jokingly asked if they were free. He started making comments about us to a fellow worker. Very unprofessional man. I asked why he had an attitude. He said we did and not to point and act like he works for us!. It could have escalated further but I decided not worth it. He is an ignorant narcissistic bully.

One of the best Home Depot on Long Island and the whole crew inside is awesome.

I visited this Home Depot in the afternoon on Aug. 31, and I had a question to be answered at the Customer Service desk, but no one would help me, all the employees were talking among themselves, until finally one employee spoke to me to announce she had just finished her shift, then walked away.

Customer service is lost in this store. I was there in Sat, 7/17/21 and dealt with the most disgruntled head cashier. Either she has no CSR training or skills, or she utterly hated her job. Ill go to Farmingdale Lowes or Home Depot in East Northport from now on.

Started our gardens late this yr, so instd of seeds/seedlings, we bought a bunch of well established veggies & herbs here in mid-June. This is the 6th or 7th time weve gone here & again very satisfied👍🏻. Stock had been well picked thru, but still plentiful & able to get all we needed. My brother, a great gardener who now lives in Mass., just confessed that HE gets his plants from Home Depot too - we laughed over not wanting to admit that! But H.D. has improved a lot over the yrs & now has a huge variety of usually healthy gardening plants & supplies at decent prices. (Could do better job of care/watering - abt 15% w/bone dry soil & neglected).Finally, I support local businesses as IMO its scary & sad how these mega-stores have driven the little local guys out. Nothing worse than Amazon, but H.D. is up there as its made so many different types of stores (hardware, lumber, plumbing, home improvement, etc.) unable to compete, hence driven them to the brink... & often over. I hate being a part of that, but whaddya gonna do, except the best you can in this 🤪 🌎 .

The staff was very helpfull. He reaching out to me offering for help, even unfonutalety I didnt find what I was looking for.

Carpet and flooring dept.. Carpet is almost 2 weeks late in being delivered. When carpet was ordered was told any delays I would be notified right away. They didnt. Will use a professional carpet store in the future

We needed to order practice a double garage door and have it installed. The help we received was wonderful! I cant wait until they come and install it. We also ordered a garage door opener. We ordered an extra insulated door in case we decide to change the garage into an extra room eventually. Thank you Home Depot!

Home Depot in Huntington consistently over help and supplies in a variety of projects. They do a wonderful job even compared to other locations of the company. I definitely recommend them for home or commercial use.

Home Depot is my go to store for home maintenance, home improvement and our creative projects. I particularly like the ability to get the location of an item on my phone while Im in the store (ie: Aisle 32, Bay 12). Its sometimes difficult to find an employee to help in a particular department but I rarely go away without what I need.

Just got home from the store and again I realized the wall switch I bought was defective and used previously. They take back merchandise and just put it back on the shelves without checking. Recently bought six outlets and when I got home found that the outlets were the old ones someone had returned. I don’t believe this to be a one off. Someone at the store is not checking returned merchandise. Make sure of you purchases before leaving the store.

Nice selection. Just make sure that if you see an item online, that it has a SKU number. Otherwise you wont find it in store.

Since my last visit this store has been cleaned up and reorganized.

Home depot used to be much better. Seems the associates always turn away when they see you coming, or they get aggravated when you ask a question for product they sell.like your bothering them. Very frustrating, seeing as thats why your there in the first place, to purchase goods they sell.

This has to be the best Home Depot in terms of customer service. There is always someone nearby willing to help. Over the years Ive gotten help with everything from paint to a full bathroom remodel. Nicely staffed place.

This a 1 star, 5 star review. 1 star for the botched in store pickup, and 5 stars for the associate at the pickup/returns desk. Ordered 4 items for pickup and when I went to pick them up out of the locker, there were only 2 of the 4 items there. Had to wait on the return line for 45 minutes and then had to look for the missing two items myself, only to find out theyre out of stock. Then had to return the whole order. Wasted a whole hour on what should have been a 5 minute pickup.

Out of stock of what I needed so tried something different didnt work they took it back and credit back to my card no question asked

I am writing this post for the best and kindest guy working in HOMEDEPOT Huntington station. His name is Douglas, hes so kind. Patient, and honest. He help me so much on order my carpet, try to get it in time, he made couple of calls to clarifying. I love that hes so helpful, wish every customer service people could be like him, matter of fact. We should all learn from him, the we would be in much better world.

I like to visit this home depot that is close by my home. It carries many products with wide selection and reasonable price.To return something most times make myself feel kind of awkward or could be trouble or annoying to customer service. But this store customer service is friendly and helpful. I came to return an item today and met Jeff who works at the customer service for return and online order-pick up. Jeff is very nice, patient, professional, and with a pleasant personality on handling the whole process. Thank you very much Jeff! I really appreciate all your time and help.

This Home Depot is nothing special

I love this place. Because very comfortable and convenient.

I walked in through the exit during the Covid-19 epidemic in efforts to quickly grab something that I know is stocked very close to the registers. It was amazing how I was treated by 2 employees. They stood in front of me in a threatening manner and blocked me insisting I go through the main entrance. I understand the point of an entrance/exit, however, this was completely unnecessary.

There is some knowledgeable staff if you get the right person convenient and they have a lot of different items in stock

Great products and wide selection. However this location could have made a much better effort with customer service. Seemed that the staff would walk away when you walked towards them for questions. With help this could have been a quick visit, but I spent a great amount of time researching my needs on my phone due to lack of customer service. In the end I found what I needed and the products were top quality.

This store is very conveniently located near my home, Any type of work related hardware or other stuff, this store is our priority.They have all the building material stuff, aisles are very nice and clean and well stocked . Garden department is also well stoked.Staff members are very nice and always helpful.If you need any type of help regarding your home project, they will happily assist you.And i also many times rent the truck without any hassle.for the first 75 minutes they charged the 19.99 dollars only.

Every time I go to County Line Mason Supplies they are most helpful and reasonably (fairly priced). This business was the supplier for 3 projects at our residence. Friendly service excellent choices.

Good store overall. I think the place is clean but really lacks the staff who can actually help you think creatively about DIY projects. They can help you find the product but usually fail in asking the nature of the issue and if the product you are looking for is indeed the solution.

Not enough help

I was at the Home Depot in Huntington. In the garden area, 3 able bodied emoyees, all male, watched as I loaded 10 bags of mulch which are quite heavy, onto a dolly. Not one offered to assist me.Finally, a lovely young man named Nick, seeing me struggle, came up to me, wheeled my order to my car and loaded it. He also informed me that I could pay, go to the loading area and employees would load my order for future purchases.Why did the 3 employees watch me struggle, offer no assistance, and not inform me of the other option?

My deck and outdoor furnitures needed a fresh coat of paint. I usually go to Aboffs for Benjamin Moore but today decided to go huntington home depot to get some paint and professional advice on the type of paint, color, etc. I am relatively new to paint jobs and inexperienced in handy work around the house. Fran in the paint dept.was very patient and helpful in guiding me to find the right paint for my needs and taste.

Website said they had 64 bags of pelletized gypsum in stock.Drove over 70 miles to this location as it was the only one claiming to have in stock.Got there and associate said they didn’t have and someone probably scanned the wrong sku number.Never trust their online inventory as its not accurate..

Store help were few and the few that were there were not helpful or unwilling. Did not have the item I needed at this store or others in the area. Thank God for Amazon! Got it delivered today.

Great store....found just what I needed.Just realized they are pet friendly-----so bring your dog for a walk through the store and probably meet other canine shoppers.Stay away from the door aisle---it confuses them! Ha!
