First time there in years. The store was clean it didnt smell. Had a nice variety of products,prices was good. Staff friendly.

Nice clean store very curious people very and Angie the clerk gave me a laugh wile I was there only down fall was the painters were in the way of some of the produce maby when your doing work on the joint you could do so during the night time when the store is closed so customers can shop without a blockage or delay but highly recommend very decent prices better than Kroger or Walmart and its in a great location on 14th street west

I prefer this Save A Lot over the other ones. The meat selection is always good, the prices are decent and overall friendly service everytime. The manager Robert always right there with his employees no matter what working in the store. TBH, he goes beyond for Save A Lot.

Wonderful service but the fruits and vegetables are never fresh even discolored at times.

Good prices, but not the best value most of the products are not name brand, and they will not let you use the bathroom.

Clean, rotates food. I use this store if foodfair/Kroger are slammed and in in a hurry.

The meats always look good. Many prices are great on can goods, etc. I would really like if they would start instant cart to help getting groceries for individuals that rather not go out

This location is so homey and comfortable. The staff always has a smile and doesnt make you feel bad if you cant find something. They are a real treat here. The deals are great, and youre going to find something fun to take home. Its a thing. Lol ❤️

Love this Save a Lot store. Unlike the one in Ironton, this one has the 5 items for $20, and theres do many choices! Plus they have an awesome deal on a ten pound box of bacon for $20! Good bacon. Great store!

I was looking for two specific items this store did not have them period actually three I went in to look and see if they had a strainer and they didnt even have that. Krogers not too far from here I would recommend that place.

Steak made me sick for about 24 hrs😒

I showed up about 15mins till close and they was super sweet and very helpful! The manager extremely helpful and answered all my questions with ease!

This store itself is fine if you cant get anywhere else. The staff make up for the low quality food at not low prices. You are better off going to Aldi. But if you dont have a car or a way to get anywhere else, it will do in a pinch.

The day before thanksgiving and needed celery for the stuffing and potato salad, they were all out but the manager when I asked him about the celery calles the store in Ohio and left and was back with a case of celery and handed me a package all before I was finished shopping! You dont get service like that anywhere anymore! Thanks to all the amazing staff at save a lot!

Most of the food is good. Its in walking distance from me and its convenient. Me and my family go there quite often and have been customers for years. But their meats and dairy could be fresher. Not sure what happened. Many of their meats are brown. You pay for more fat and glue then meat itself. The meats have a strange taste to them, making it to were you have to heavily season them just to cover up the taste. All of their dairy products containers have a broken seal. Just squeeze the container and put your ear up to it. You will hear air coming out. Doesnt mean that its bad. Just needs to have better seals. On top of that, the save a lot were I go is cash only. All their card machines are damaged or broken. Foodstamp cards and debit/credit cards wont read. So remember to bring cash to avoid embarrassment. Or just avoid this Save A Lot all together. 14th St. West, Cabell, Huntington, WV, 25704. All of my experiences have happened repeatedly on several different occasions.

A very good store!

Im Brian the ex assistant manager from 14th st. Most of the staff are good people and Robert does a good job finding workers that fit in well to work in the place. From first hand experience I can say for what it is its a generally good place to shop and even make friends because the workers usually do really care about how your day is going when they ask. I felt used abit so I left but wont hold against the men and women working hard to do the best they can to give a good shopping experience to everyone who walks through the doors. :)

People would rather go here and get low quality food for super cheap than go somewhere else and get quality food for a little more expensive. If you want someone to offer to sell their food stamps to you or offer you drugs or you have smoke blaring in your face when you walk in, sure go here. Otherwise, dont.

Food is affordable but some things are not edible. And the no public restroom really makes me hate this place. When your a mother and your child under 4 is not permitted to use a bathroom it really makes you dislike a place

Our go to Save-A-Lot

Could be better overall. Other then that im still a regular shopper.

I can always find what Im looking for, however, most of the prices are higher than most other grocery stores so you really have to watch what you buy. Especially the hamburger, most stores have roast for the same price and you can get it freshly ground and without all the fat thats in their hamburger.
