This is a small shop compared to other antique stores on the square, however, good things come in small packages. Carefully curated inventory include gorgeous vintage dishes, jewelry, holiday collectables, linens, and my favorite, books. I loved my visit to this Huntsville jewel!

Shop was small and had a variety of items. I saw books, toys, clothes, glassware, bottles, and other collectibles. Didn’t take long to look around, but worth looking again, in case I find something I like. Near a few other antique stores if you visit this area.

Callie Magees is one of the nicest antique shops i have ever frequented, and i have frequented many. The location is excellent. It sits right on the corner of the square across from the Huntsville Texas courthouse. Before you even walk in you will be welcomed by the beautifully displayed windows and several antiques outdoors as well as a place to sit and take a load off. Once inside, you will be transported to different places and times. Dont tire of looking in the store however, because there are three more rooms off the back and side filled with antique and vintage treasures. The owners, Lois and James Blake, have taken this place from a nice little store to a phenomenal depository of alluring and offbeat vignettes. i can feel my heart racing just thinking about it. Lois and James offer that special kind of Southern hospitality where if they dont have it, they will help you find it. They offer assistance, but allow you to shop at your own pace without any pressure to buy. Callie Magees will have you coming back for more, thats for sure!

Really interested in purchasing some of the vintage clothes she has. Every time I ask about it, she tells me she has to sort through it before she lets anyone back there. Ive been asking her for the past 2 years.
