We came here a couple months ago, as we love antique stores. We were actually on vacation in Chattanooga, TN but decided to drive to Alabama to check out some Pokemon shops and antique stores.I have to say this is probably the most disappointing antique store I have ever been too!We saw the reviews online and how big it looked inside from the pictures. We decided to swing by and check it out. When we first walk in to the right we saw a dalmatian dog statue. We collect anything dalmatian and went straight to look at it. There wasnt a price, so we asked the man at the counter. He told us an outrageous price, and the way he was talking he was doing us a favor by giving us that price. We should have known to leave right then and there, but the place is huge and it they are all individual sellers. After looking throughout the entire place, upstairs and downstairs it was such a waste. Everything was crazy expensive, and over half the items arent antiques. We have been to so many antique shops, malls, etc. All up and down the East Coast and this by far was the worst/most disappointing. We will never ever be back or recommend this one to anyone!
I always visit Firehouse Antiques when in Huntsville. Very large mall with a lot of diverse antiques and collectibles and I always find something that I buy. Great customer service!
This place is amazing. Its huge! I cant describe it adequately. Go. Thats all, just go.
We love antique stores & we love fire house antiques
Firehouse is a blast! We love coming here. The store itself is quite large and rambling. We mostly come to browse but always leave with something neat. It is a great place to come walk around if you like antiques. Definitely recommend!
This place has it all. It is a large store but also has large pieces of furniture so it is not as filled with small stuff. It’s very well organized and has a good flow. The upstairs area has some very primitive finds, if you are into that.
This place is massive! It has so many fun and unique vintage items that I always come out spending so much more than I originally intended. The guys that work there are so fun and nice and have helped me a great number of times. I love how many vendors they have and how they always have a great rotation of items. Everything is priced so reasonable and is always a must stop for me whenever I’m in that part of town!
Overwhelming and huge. So much to see and explore it will take you all day. Well worth the extra miles if you are out of the area.
Awesome antique store. It looks small from the front but the store just keeps going and going and going. There are so many good finds in there. Make sure to take an allergy pill beforehand if you experience issues with dust though.
Plan on staying awhile. Something for everyone.
Phenomenal opportunity to find treasures, memories and always a wonderful rainy or cold afternoon spent indoors perusing the booths. If you dont find want youre looking for, ask! I did and came home with a marvelous Featherweight 221!
Love walking through and looking at the antiques
Very helpful staff plenty of choices lot of stuff for just about anybody likes or dislikes or choices that they made have
This local business is outstanding. A true gem in Huntsville. They have great inventory and the folks that work there are friendly, willing to work a good price, and even help you load the heavy pieces. Highly recommended.
Lots of cool stuff inside there
I can spend all day in here!
This place is huge. Lots of bargains
So many unique treasures. One of my favorite antique mall ever!
Great finds and helpful staff
Lots of things to look at!
This is definitely one of the nicer & more organized antique stores. I have been here multiple times & always had a good experience. The staff seems to be cordial & friendly as well. As for the actual items there are some interesting things in stock from time to time. I have noticed that the majority of items in stock seem to be actual furniture or furniture related - which is fine. But otherwise there are still plenty of neat things to look at & purchase.
The owners are super nice and helpful here. My favorite antique place ever. I will be back
Tons upon tons of items for sale and the knowledge is free! Guys thanks very helpful as always.
Big area with several vendors. Very clean
Cool stuff but some of it is overpriced. Nothing screamed buy me
Love looking at all the things there.
Lots of antiques to browse through.Keep checking on the huge grandfather clock I would really like to have. 😊⌚
A lot of great stuff 💯
EYECANDY GALORE, BUT WE GOT LOST! I never knew those lighted porcelain Xmas trees were worth $100.
You will need hours to go through the entire store. It was organized by vendor and each item was price marked which was helpful. My only issue was there was no one to ask questions about locations of specific things I was looking for. Will definitely go back when I have more time.
Unkind and overpriced. Me and my friend were helped out at closing, and this place is quite large and easy to get lost in. When being led out, from behind, I made a wrong turn and was informed Gotta go, the world series is on. I also worked in an antique store for three years in high school, which was only 2 years ago, and this place was terribly overpriced on common vintage items that werent even antique. If you have a high tolerance for rudeness and a fat wallet then this is the place for you.
HUGE selection. We drive over 2 hours to come here. Great prices and always helpful
Huge antique shop. Lots to look at. I usually leave with something
Huge! You can find what you are looking for, and decide if its what you really need. Some prices are excellent, I dont know if there is wiggle room on prices. But we spent two hours wandering around 1/4 of the store.
This store is huge, you can shop for hours and not see everything. They have really nice antiques and the staff is friendly and helpful.
This place is great. Like walking through a museum.
This place is huge! Clean and well ran.
Big place. Lots of items. Some real antiques.
Beautiful local place to go antique shopping and find your next deal!
Antique overload - so much stuff!Lots of choices with some great furniture and Interesting items. We loved it.
Really neat antiques at super prices.
Fantastic place to get lost in nostalgic collections of everything you can imagine. Spend some time looking thru everything because it takes a few passes to see it all.
A huge collection of everything you could look for. Clean and friendly. We enjoyed shopping there.
This place just goes and goes and goes. You think youve reached the back but, wait, theres more! Lots of cool things and historical items. You could spend hours in there and still not see everything. Some things can be pricey but if you look hard enough you can find some great deals too. One of the vendors always has a sale going on, too.
Tons of stuff to dig through
Ive never parked in the back parking lot before but the one time I did, I parked in the wrong area. I was a little confused since its all gravel but I made it a point to stay out of the way. Anyway, as I was leaving, a vendor or owner (not sure which) was walking inside and told me my car was going to be towed. I told him I was about to leave and would move it. He continued to harass me, make phone calls, bring out other employees, in just a matter of minutes. I mean, let me get in the car! The antique store is nice but if the psycho staff is going to harass a middle aged woman on a rare afternoon out, its not worth the stop.
You could spend hours looking at all the things in this shop. It goes back quite a ways and there is even a small second story. They have a wide variety of items from different time periods and friendly staff. Well worth a look!
Place was huge with a lot of antiques & collectibles
Great place to wonder around and check out the large selection of goods offered for sale. Many unique items from the past. Found a copy of MS DOS there, of course I bought it!
Decent place. The prices are iffy, but you can find a couple of gems here. Its worth a try for sure.
Large antique store with a lot of variety, it takes some time to view everything. As with most antique stores prices are high for what I want to buy. Some items have been sitting in the same place for years due to high asking price.
Awesome place to get lost in tons of affordable antiques
O...m...g...this place is the quintessential antiques store...it is 40,000 sqft and has taken us 3 days to see everything. #mindblown
Any place you can go #2 while sitting next to your best friend is ok with me!
There is so much cool stuff here. If you want to see it all, make sure you set aside a few hours. This place does not look as big as it is from the road.
I would call this a knick-knack heaven. It would also be accurate to describe the top floor as a chair graveyard. If you are looking for chachkis, this is a good store. For those looking for bigger, interesting pieces like stop lights, couches, cabinets, etc, to go to Vintage fairy tale antiques. Worth it, I promise.
I just love looking at all the things displayed its like going back in time some of the things i see there
This place is a sensory overload
Got some nice old vinyls.
Great as always
I found some really GREAT deals on antique jewerly from a booth that a lady had everything on CLEARANCE because she was shutting the booth down, but there were tons of great prices on other items I wanted as well. If you go plan some time to spend there!!!
Great shop. Tons of vendors. Can spend hours shopping.
Visited while evacuated for Irma. This place is FABULOUS! Lots of treasures just waiting to be discovered. Worth the stop if youre in the area.
What a great place. I could spend a day there and still not see everything.
We had a great time looking aroud. Both my mother-in-law and I, found two items we could not live without! ;-)
I always enjoy checking out antique stores while I travel. This one was very large and had a very diverse stock level.
This place is huge!!! I got lost a couple times and wasnt even mad. Very versatile, great collections.
Always new things to see. Fair prices. No one follows you around when you just want to browse. Friendly folks who help when you need them.
Large selection and wonderful staff members. We enjoy shopping here.
Great antique/collectable shop. Its bigger than it looks and has lots and lots of stuff to browse.
Interesting place to look around. Friendly staff.
Great fun. Interesting items. Good prices.
The collections are always interesting and well displayed. Clean and great location.
A fun place to visit! Plan on spending time there...it is packed, very interesting!!
By and large, the antiques market in HSV is somewhat overpriced. This place has some reasonable prices. Its bigger than it looks from outside. Set aside a couple of hours.
This is definitely worth a drive for a cool day trip. Walking into Firehouse I was instantly as excited as a fat kid in a candy store! Its massive! :) I have been there 5 times now and still havent been able to walk in all the rooms and see everything.I specifically like the older humidors, beer stein collections, and big wood desks & pieces of furniture that they have. Plus, all of their kitchen items are cool since Im new at home owning and all of these items let me reminisce of my PePaw and MeMaws kitchen in Louisiana when we visited for holidays.Any-who, I love it and I want to be a seller there too but with over 75 right now....I had to sign up on their waiting list.
Wonderful service! Always willing to negotiate.
A excellent an exciting walk thru time, needing to do that over and over again an again(WOW!!!)
There is a ton of stuff, a lot of a good things to see, wide variety, spent over an hour looking about and still didnt make it all the waythrough
Fun place to explore. A true antique store, not shabby sheek.
Lots to see. Enjoy how much there is to see.
Huge display of antiques, very nice things
If more people would price their items more stuff would sale. Big downfall to here, you have to find someone in this large store and hope they may know what it cost.
Great place to look for what you need. A bit pricy, but theyre unique items you might not be able to find anywhere else. Also the place is huge.
Great way to spend an afternoon, found a really cute brass turtle.
Excellent nic-nac shop, honest engaging owner-operater
Excellent service and a wonderful eclectic bunch of quality antiques.
Great selection, but that way too much useless stuff.
Could spend all day here.
Coolest antique store that Ive ever seen!
Always love shopping here and looking around. So much to see
Alot of rare antiques at reasonable prices
Great place. You need all day to do it justice.
It was amazing
Great place for just about anything. Prices are reasonable.
Lovely store, has great antique furniture and interesting stuff.
