Was shopping around for cars on Saturday due to being in a car accident. Had an ok experience at Chevy until discussing the terms and fees after a mediocre test drive. We told Josh S.(with the Fort Walton Beach name tag) that we were shopping around and comparing prices/terms. He began acting as if we couldnt afford the vehicle after we didnt let him run our credit(As we were just shopping around).Josh continued to ask why we didnt want to buy the car right then and there. We reiterated that we were comparing prices and terms and were not going to just hop on the first car you show us. Get it together Landers McLarty. You cant hire lazy salesmen like Josh that get rude & disrespectful. Youll continue to lose sales.We took our business up the street to Bill Penney Toyota and got an amazing Chevy Traverse with favorable terms. Their customer service was top shelf and their saleswoman was knowledgeable about the vehicle. It was like night and day.

Fast service and good service. The only issue that I had was that my grill got damaged while there. The service Manager sent it to the body shop to get epoxied and that means that my grill cant be removed after that. Quick fix but a permanent fix. I cant remove the grill now. I got home and detailed my car and they were scratches on the trunk lid as if someone sit something on it and slid it off. Scratches on my front bumper that had been painted not long ago. I left a voicemail for the service Manager to call me back but he never did. I am disappointed it the way things were handled. I may be a 2016 Impala and not much to them but its my car and I deserved more respect than the way it was handled. Maybe its time to stop buying Chevrolet. Im reaching out to someone higher up than the service area to see about all the scratches on my car

I came in to get my first truck and had a great experience with both Peter and Nas. Just got finished buying a new Silverado after the Benz dealership told me Id never find one and tried to sell me a basic used model for more than the new one that had ALL the bells and whistles. Matt Brown really took care of us. There was a family matter that caused a last minute change in my family structure. I had a 5 seater and needed an 8 seater. I started renting an 8 seater from Hertz and was spending over $1k a week. I didn’t want a used car and also didn’t want a 2021 SUV. But with every dealership I was in contact with (over 50), no one had the ability to order a 2022 vehicle on such short notice. Everyone said that the SUVs wouldn’t be available until after January of 2022. Getting a 2021 8 seater wasn’t easy neither. I was being told by every dealership that even a 2021 build of what I wanted could take a few months. I was going to go with a dealer that was in another state and had an 8 seater that they were going to do a dealer swap for, but the SUV had less features. Literally right as I was accepting the offer for the 8 seater in the other state, Matt called me and told me a 2021 8 seater arrived in my county that was as close to the build I wanted without having to wait for my desired build to be ready. Matt came right in the nick of time. He even delivered the car to me. God bless everyone. Thank you all.

Wasted my time lied to me to get me back up there..(I transport for a living so I came back off the road to seal the deal l lost 3 days of pay for nothing) I made a cash offer on a used truck on the 25th of October the sales person called me back 5 days later on the 30th of October and said they was going to work with me even pulled the truck to the front.. When we got there on October 31 and went inside to seal the deal they come back with the price they was asking plus a couple thousand more. Now I see they added $1,520.00 more then they was originally asking.. Bad business..I bought a brand new car from them in 2014 then turn around and bought a used car in 2016.. never again...
Please with my experience based on the particular salesman I had (Zach D.), communication prior to the visit (Jana), preparation of the truck before I arrived, timeliness to finish a deal, and general ease of doing business.I send an online request in on Monday night, got a call from Jana shortly after to set up an appointment, got a call the next day from Zach saying he will have the truck up front, got there a little early and he took me for a drive and then we went inside. Zach can work on 100 things at once, it seemed, and he was focused on getting everything in motion so that I wasnt there all day. 2 hours or so, left in the truck I wanted without hassle. Sales manager swung by the table for a meet & greet, which was nice, and the finance guy even had a sense of humor!I would recommend going here for a truck and ask for Zach.
Everyone was great. Peter was very nice and listened to what we asked for, The only bad part is how long you sit at the dealership to do all of the checks and balances.

Got my oil changed this morning, it was professional and done to my satisfaction. They changed the oil rotated the tires and did an overall inspection of the vehicle to make sure everything was as required. I am very happy with Landers McCarty Chevrolet, I trust them to take good care of my vehicle, they do good work.
Without making an appointment, my husband and I dropped off my car, after hours, for an oil change. I was surprised when they called by 8:30 the following morning and said my car was ready. Great customer service as well. Along with the oil change, they did all the other things as well... rotate tires, top off fluids, etc.

Had a headlamp go out while traveling from out of town. Called to see if it was possible to get fixed. I was told to bring it in at 2pm and they would work me in. Two and a half hours they had it done. I noticed the car sat for about a half hour before I was notified it was done. Final bill $200. The people were very friendly.
Once again…. This is the 5th vehicle that I have purchased from Landers McClarty in Huntsville. I literally feel like GM Family. Dealership absorbs people in with low internet pricing and then tries to up the pricing! I located a truck on their website for $1 - some would say this is too good to be true. However, dealerships are always offering deals to attract attention. I jumped on the opportunity for a sale, and I even placed the $1,000 deposit, and they accepted. Shortly after the deposit, Landers McLarty contacted me via phone. I had a friendly discussion, and the sales rep showed no discern over any of the data entered into the computer over a couple of phone interactions, still no concern. That all abruptly changed - the phone calls went from friendly to heinous (staff calling me Stupid etc.). The phone calls ended with a promise that the GM would contact me, the phone call didnt come. I drove to the dealership and was met with a similar start (i.e., friendly followed by name-calling etc.). I eventually received the call from the GM after leaving messages with the receptionist.One manager I spoke with was very respectful - and so was the GM; however, their employees were lackluster, admitted to false advertising, and discourteous.The dealership has my deposit(still in their account) - I would like my vehicle.

Purchased a car here 7 years ago and was a positive experience, 7 years later I left the showroom mad after high pressure sales tactics, staff who refused to listen or return my trade in keys, fabricated problems to low ball my trade by ten thousand dollars. I would not recommend this dealer, it was not a good experience and nothing irritates me more than sales staff that will not listen when a customer says no.

,I give this stars Because of something that happened. I used to be a service technician when it was Bill heard. I wanted the oil change. They did that no problem but, I had two brand new tires on the front of my vehicle and two dry rot almost worn out tires on the rear. Well if I were still a technician there and a vehicle came in like that, (two new tires on the front and bad ones on the back,) I absolutely would not have done a rotation on that spacific vehicle. Was always instructed through the years, plus one knows, you want the best tires on the front. You dont put the bad tires on the steering end of the vehicle. Probably also should have stated no rotation, but forgot that came with the service purchased. Still though, was really surprised to see that they did the rotation and took the brand new tires off the front and put the almost worn dry rot tires in their place. Dunno.. Maybe they do things differently now? I guess was just shocked because no technician I know would have done that. Other that that. Everything was awesome. Mean, thats quite a penny for an oil change.. Good customer care so far. Wish someone would explain why all cars are gone from the lot. I know its because there is a shortage on parts.. But that doesnt explain why cars have been taken back off the lot? Its like they loaded cars back up and took them away.

Made an appointment with the service dept over a week in advance. Dropped my vehicle off in the morning for a simple repair job. At the end of the day they still hadnt looked at it. I understand that things get busy and estimates are not exact, but what was the appointment for? Brought it back the next day and the repairs were done, but inadequate. Still having some minor related issues. I wont be back.

I located a used Chrysler 300S with low miles being listed for sale by Landers McLarty Chevrolet. I reached out and spoke with someone who took the time to answer questions. I inquired extensively about the vehicle, as I would be flying in from out of town to purchase it. I specifically asked about all the cosmetic issues that it would have. The sales representative brought up a few minor ones, but it appeared nothing major.So, I committed to buy the vehicle and flew out. They were nice enough to pick me up from the airport.Unfortunately, there were far more cosmetic issues than were disclosed, including severe scuffs and scratches on the passenger mirror, the glue around the windshield was deteriorating, and there was environmental wear on the paint and window molding. None of this was disclosed prior to my flight.But, worse still, after finishing the test drive, the Service ABS and Service Electronic Stability Control lights popped up. Clearly this was not a vehicle that someone would spend $27k on.So, after making it known that I would not be moving forward with the purchase, without a beat, the sales manager asked me if I would be interested in buying another vehicle. I declined, and requested to be taken back to the airport, which admittedly, they obliged.I was apologized to regarding the poor service, but it felt very half-hearted, and no attempts were made to make up for the cost in flights and time. Truthfully, had I had known of the cosmetic issues upfront, I wouldve never flown out to begin with.I am disappointed with the service and treatment I received during this visit. I wasted my entire day and lots of money on this visit that couldve been avoided.
I live about 650 miles from this dealership, but there were TWO similarly configured vans in the United States.This dealership had one of them. I spoke to about four different people in the process of making a decision about my purchase, and every one of them was honest, courteous and respectful of my time.They were willing to work with me and allow me the time to come pick it up, several days after finalizing our deal.Our salesman called me on the road to make sure we were ok and to ensure everything was ready when we got there.They kept all of their promises...trade in value of the car we drove, price on the van, financing details...everything.I would definitely deal with them again, and recommend them to anyone in the area, or even NOT in the area!

I purchased a vehicle from here in 2019 and have returned ever since for oil changes and maintence because it was easy and I trusted the people here. Recently I ran into some very alarming car issues (ABS light on, traction control out, and a loud grating noise coming from my car) and I went to them immediately because I was close by after getting off work. They barely looked at my car, plugged in their reader, and told me there was nothing they could do right then, but reassured me multiple times that my car would be safe to load my four year old into and make the hour drive home in. After visiting a different service department first thing the next morning, I was told that my car was in fact, very unsafe to have driven home in due to a major issue with my front tire. I will never be trusting this service department with my car again, because clearly the priority that day was leaving early on a Friday afternoon, even if that meant lying to a concerned customer about the safety of their vehicle.Editing, I did arrive prior to 5 pm, when the website said the service department closed at 6. I did attempt to contact the dealership with my concers prior to posting this review, and was ignored. And I was promised my car was safe to drive in, despite the vehicle not even being looked at.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I ended up with a lemon when I purchased a Equinox...it was in a class action lawsuit for excessive oil consumption but they presented this SUV to me anyway. It should have never been resold to anyone...I have 36 more payments on a vehicle that is not safe. About a month ago the engine cut off while driving it. Nobody is taking responsibility and doing the right thing.
Called in about 1:15pm to get an oil change he said sure we will work you in no problem. Got there shortly after, and they got me taken care of. Great waiting area with bottled water, soft drinks, and even an area for kids to play. Ill be taking my 2019 Tahoe there for all its Scheduled Maintenance. Thanks!

I had a bad experience with this Chevrolet dealership. Unfortunately I was forced to spend unnecessary money for a part that Chevy recalled on their Tahoes anyway. No one had knowledge as to why my original problem was not fixed and the service manager never called me back afterI called him several times. This was a $2,000 blunder by this dealership that I still dont have an answer for.
They go out of their way to help you to get the truck or car you want and I am very happy to do business with them.
Convenient service hours and drop off/pick up. Communication with service advisor can be tough at times, especially if you have many items to get worked on. Service I asked to get done may not have been needed but I dont know that they checked before doing it (I asked that they check first). Prices are reasonable for a dealership and they have some good coupons. Service advisors are friendly and the place is clean and professional.
Hands down; one of the best experiences I have had purchasing a vehicle. I would say it is definitely due to my salesman, Glenn. He was phenomenal to work with: knowledgeable, efficient, extremely courteous and he was not the “typical” pushy sales guy. He is an asset to Landers McLarty and his personality is perfect for his occupation. The rest of the crew I dealt with at Landers McLarty were also an awesome group! When I stepped in to the service area, no one even acknowledged my presence. Two guys were on the phone, but several other employees were walking around doing who knows what. My tire was going flat but by the time I got there, the techs were done for the day and were wrapping up their last customers. I couldnt get my tire repaired, but they were kind enough to put air in all of them for free. It was enough to get me home safely because the next morning, my 1 tire was completely flat and not drivable. A family member fixed it for me, which worked out in my benefit because I didnt have to pay the $60 for Landers McLarty to fix it.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNSATISFIED WITH MY LAST EXPERIENCE WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I PAID ALMOST $1,400 TO HAVE MY CAR FIXED AND THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST TODAY. I FEEL THAT IVE BEEN TAKEN ADDVANTAGE OF BECAUSE IM A FEMALE. IVE BEEN BACK AND FORTH WITH THIS ISSUE FOUR TIMES. THEY SEEM TO NOT BE ABLE TO FIX OR KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH MY CAR. THEY HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY MONEY AND NOW THEY DONT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

I have always taken my truck here for service. I had an engine light to come on. Everything I tried failed to reset the light. I made an appointment and took it to the service department. They found the bad sensor and replace it. I also had them to change the oil and rotate the tires. My truck runs and rides so smooth now. Thank you guys so much. Im so happy to have a place I can count on for any issues I might have.

I have had my truck serviced at Landers McLarty since I purchased it in 2014. I dropped my truck off in the morning with a friend from work, it was ready by lunch time. Using the service discounts available, I had my front brakes done, full synthetic oil changed, two software updates for less than the shop down the street that wanted to replace my rotors by default with who knows what quality rather than turning them on my first set of pads.
