Sara is awesome! I originally went in for some cloth diaper inserts and she helped me so much, she took the time to tell me about the different options I had for what I needed and what she thought would work best. When I went in the store I also realized they had tons of baby carriers. I had already purchased a carrier before my son was born but never was taught how to efficiently use it. She recommend I schedule a consultation for 1:1 time, I came back 1 week later and she filled me with a wealth of knowledge!! She taught me how to use my carrier I already had and how to use it a different way (that actually felt better!). She also taught me how to use a wrap and they have a library for these!! I checked out one and now I am able to come home and practice and use for 30 days. So glad I found this store. Highly recommend!! :)

Acorn Treasures is an amazing locally owned baby wearing and cloth diapering store. I went in looking for a baby carrier for my preemie newborn and Sarah, the owner, made several recommendations and then showed me how to put several on and how they worked. She also showed me some tricks and tips on how to make each one more comfortable for me and baby. Sarah is usually in the store and has a wealth of knowledge about her inventory; from baby and toddler carriers to high quality toys and teething beads to all shapes and kinds of cloth diapers she can point you in the right direction. She also works with several local Work At Home Moms (WAHMs) to stock unique, handmade items. I would recommend Acorn Treasures to anyone who is interested in learning more about baby wearing and/or cloth diapering.

I cant describe how helpful, knowledgeable, and just how nice and kind hearted Sarah has been to work with. I have been speaking to her the past few weeks about coming in for a lesson on how to wear my daughter in my Boba wrap, because I didnt feel secure enough on my own. I had to reschedule a couple of times, then the third time I had to reschedule because my daughter was in the hospital with RSV. Sarah offered to come to the hospital and give me a lesson. She was great, and wanted to help me because she knew it would help my daughters levels. Now I feel comfortable wearing my daughter, and look forward to doing it for a while. I cant thank her enough! This is such a neat place to have in Huntsville, and we need more people like Sarah in the world!

As far as giving knowledge and tips on products, that increases the rating slightly. I would not consider buying anything from there. I rented an item and returned it. I have been contacted numerous times about checking on the rental, when it has been established every time it has been brought up that it was a mistake and has, in fact, been returned. I am tired of being contacted about it as if though I have it and having to think about it. I do not easily jump to reviews but I almost have no choice here and I am having to consider contacting a lawyer as well so it will stop once and for all. There is no sense trying to sort it out with the business because every time I think it is sorted, and it has become clear this will never get straightened out. It does at the moment but then I hear about it again for some reason. Imagine borrowing something of a friends and returning it, yet for some reason they keep mentioning you giving it back to them like you have their item when you dont. Its increasingly becoming a burden. I am weighing lifetime tips I received against a lifetime burden I now have apparently. Consider carefully before dealing with this business.

So thankful for Acorn Treasures Mighty Oaks​​ and Sarah Napier Bailey​​. I have 3 kids currently 13, 5, and 4. Sarah introduced with to “baby wearing” when my 5 year old was born. Her enthusiasm and belief in the positives that came along with “baby wearing” made me eagerly try it even though I was a bit skeptical. To say it changed our LIVES for the better and makes me feel like a “better mom”. We now use a toddler Tula for our two youngest kiddos. Not near as often as when they were “little littles” but mostly for long vacation days and when we are at events and don’t want to take a stroller or when we take a stroller and they both want to ride one will ride in the Tula. This past week my 5 year old had the flu and as she recovered her little brother caught it. He had a doctors appointment and so did she.... I was so THANKFUL for my toddler Tula. I was able to keep my sick baby close to me, comforted and from touching anything that might infect others. It wasn’t a ideal situation but the Tula made what would have been a super hard day into a much easier day. “Baby Wearing” helps me meet my kids needs and makes me a better mom. I am forever grateful for Sarah and her passion for helping women in the season of motherhood. I don’t know many others who are as selfless as she is and genuinely wants others to experience the ease of “baby wearing”.

I just happen to find the web shop while looking for a particular carrier. I was nervous about ordering from a shop I was unfamiliar with and I’m so glad I did anyway. I got exactly what I ordered. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and the carrier was in my mailbox on Monday along with a cute hand written note. I am totally blown away by the fast service.
