This is one of the better Mapco locations as long as you don’t go during rush hour. The location is convenient, just be careful when turning into it from Highway 72 on the leaving Huntsville side.

Love this store. So clean and there is always ice for fountain machine. This store is very busy. But quick helping customers

As a mapco employee I just want to say we should go above and beyond to insure that our customers have a safe and clean environment when they stop at our stores. The cleanness of the restrooms was unacceptable!!! And both cashiers had NO mask on as this is a mapco Policy. We all need to insure the safety of our customers as well as our Team Members.

Always very busy at the pumps, but still manageable inside. It looks clean and the staff is friendly and sweet. I don’t think I’ve ever left this place without a smile on my face.

Busy store with nice-enough employees, but a serious sanitation issue here. Stopped in twice in 12 hours, but bathroom only went from bad to worse. Gross.

We were on the way home from Huntsville to Auburn and were filling up the gas tank which was still about half way full. It was me, my fiancee, and our chocolate lab. I told my fiancee to take my card, get everything set up with the pump and then go inside to get his road snacks while I stayed outside and kept an eye on the pump and our dog. I was sitting in the car getting things set up for the three and half hour ride home, keeping an ear out for the click the pump is supposed to make when the tank is full. Next thing I know, there is a frantic knocking on the window and another customer is letting me know that the pump had not automatically sensed the tank was full and there was gasoline spewing down the side of the car and across the pavement of the gas station. I jump out of the car, slipping on the spilled gas and nearly hitting my head on the car door, so I can remove the defective pump from the car. The car continues to leak gasoline while I try and flag down my fiancee and an associate who are in the store. It takes three to five minutes to even get an associate out there and when she finally gets out there, she starts screaming her head off to get our dog out of the vehicle. My fiancee goes to get the dog who ends up hurting her leg on the way out of the vehicle. The associate has no idea what to do, so we have to wait on her to call someone else to tell her what to do while the car continues to leak gasoline. Eventually she just comes out with paper towels and pats the gas tank trying to get it to stop leaking. That doesnt really help, the gas eventually stops leaking on its own. The associate is like, okay, thats about all we can do, and suggested we take the car to a car wash. We pull to a different pump so my fiancee can use the squeegee and some paper towels to try and clean up the side of his car. Meanwhile the same associate is trying to tell us it is our fault and that the car is faulty and that is why the gas kept leaking when it was clearly a defect with the pump. She refuses to close the pump down and block off the area. Two other customers are allowed to drive up to the pump and attempt to use it before a different associate comes out with a miniscule coffee cup full of that hazard dust to cover what is not about a nine square foot area of leaked gasoline. I look at the pump and it has charged me for about five gallons of gas which are not in the car but across the pavement because of the gas stations faulty pump. I am never given a refund. And when I go in to get my road snacks, the original associate gets on to me saying it this situation is hazardous and that we shouldnt leave the pump unattended next time. Thing is... it wasnt unattended... I was by the car when the occurred. I try and tell her that and then she has the audacity to blame my fiancee for the whole mess, saying, oh you know how guys are, they never pay attention. It is his fault for not being there at the pump to monitor the gas. All this occurred Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the MAPCO on 1582 Hwy 72 E in Huntsville around 5:30 pm. I never got a refund, in the craziness I wasnt able to even get a receipt, I never got an apology, and we were blamed multiple times for the situation even though it was a faulty pump of the gas station. On top of that, the hazard was not handled in a correct manner, no officials were caused to take care of the flammable hazard, and usual activities were allowed to occur around the hazardous site for quite some time after the incident. They refused to close down the pump, at least the whole time we were there.

I think that Mapco stores are the best convenience stores in Madison County, Alabama. The employees are friendly. Its always clean and organized..Bathrooms are especially clean and I love that.What keeps me coming back is their coffee, the variety of Salads in the Deli & of course the Mapco Rewards:)

DO NOT GO INSIDE THIS MAPCO. This Mapco is not enforcing the COVID-19 order and allowed FIVE customers to enter the building without masks. Apparently the law only matters if you arent Mapco.EDIT 12/29: Seems the owner replied with LIES. While they now have signs that say masks required, they dont enforce these signs. I counted 10 people today without masks. Make no mistake this Mapco cares more about keeping their customer base than keeping people safe and healthy.

Stop in this morning to get fuel and cigarettes and a phone charger when i got home to check my bank statement i was charge twice on my card so let everyone no make sure you check your account because you made happen to you to... and the employees need to wake up watch what they are doing.

I drive truck so we are up and about all hours of the night I see this spot is open awesome grate time to stop and get coffee and a snack... well got coffee... but as i am looking for something to eat I get told I have have to cash out and leave the store because if I don’t then the cashier will be locked out of the cash register??? So as I am made to check out and to leave I go to the door and it’s locked and I can leave I have to be let out. Very odd. Why would this be a thing at a 24 hour fuel stop?? Mind you this is a 305am on a week day.. If you are 24 hour how does this make any sense 2/12/2020 3:12am

What a rip off. Truck drivers are often limited to their resources and we do what we can to survive. I had to get fuel here, close to 200 gallons worth and then they charge me for a cup of ice even when I was using my own cup. Seriously, who charges for ice even you bring your own cup?!?!?! Especially after getting almost 200 gallons of fuel?Store is clean and well maintained, but nickel and dimeing their customers is not something I care to support.

Need to have 3 people working. Instead of two. One of those was on the Phone. Learn to multi Task. I walked out. Loyalty Rewards also Down.

Our family stopped here on our drive back from vacation. My wife went in the store with my two year old and when at the register to pay for the 50 cent (ridiculous) cup that she wanted for our childs snack in the car the so called assistant manager with long hair said that she should put zip ties on our child because he pulled several things off the candy shelf. Very unprofessional.

Most mornings.are good allot of police. Presents a good thing but. When the young techs are behind the counter they dont keep the coffee station. Clean the older guy does 3 in the morning not allot of traffic

I dislike their practice of locking the doors at 3am to 3:20am. You want to close out customers for inventory or whatever thats fine but dont shut off the pumps.

I experienced this beautiful gas station from the outside. The pumps were confusing, but eventually I figured it out. Thanks to the thousands of dollars I paid for my 5 years of college. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to drop in for combustibles.
