Apparently store policy here is no exchanges and no returns after October 27th. Why wasn’t I told that when I made the purchase?? I was told, “It’s written on the bottom of your receipt.” Who ever reads their receipts? There should be signs posted everywhere and when I paid for my purchase, the cashier should have let me know about the policy. She did not so now it’s too late to exchange my costume for a larger size. The Manager would not make an exception. Worst customer service ever!!

As of October 4th 2021 on Google it says that this store is currently open and it opens at 10:00 a.m. but when you try to go in theyve got signs on the front door saying closed under construction. They need to change their hours and be more efficient with that because its a pretty big difference now we have to drive much further than anticipated.

Variety here was a HUGE plus! The store was staffed with enough people to keep things moving & the shelves full. This is THE go-to place for your Halloween needs. 🎃

Really big selection of stuffs. Some of it seems pretty good quality at reasonable prices too. My only complaint is that its really noisy.

My family & I visited the Spirit Halloween Store on August 15th 2020, the 1st Day Opening, of their NEW Store at 6275 University Dr NW Ste 4 Huntsville, AL located in the Westside Shopping Center, Near the 5 Below & Tuesday Morning Stores. We typically visit a Spirit Halloween store once or twice during the August - October time frame every year since theyve been coming to the Huntsville area. Last year, September 14th 2019 as well as the year before that (September 1st 2018) we visited them at the old Toys R Us, Baby R Us building in the Bridge Street Town Centre, off of Governors Drive West, in Huntsville. This year however, we decided to break tradition & visit their NEW location.The Westside Center location provided this Spirit Store with a large floor space allowing Spirit to properly display their fantastic Halloween sets with animatronic figures of all sizes and price ranges. There were many NEW Animatronic Figures this year that were absolutely Amazing! As is customary, the Store has literally hundreds of costumes, for both adults and children and everyone in between. The shelves were well-stocked, the Animatronic Figures were all working, which in past years has not always been. KUDOS to the Spirit Halloween Team for ensuring all their Animatronic Figures were working! There were an ample amount of employees that were to assist and answer questions. There appeared to be more lookers than buyers; perhaps it was too early in the Season; We however, made a couple of purchases ~$80 on Inflatables; an 8-foot Frankenstein Monster & a 5-foot Gargoyle that reside in our Sessonal Graveyard for the enjoyment of this Years Trick-or-Treaters.Halloween is a Big Deal with our family, and has been for the last 30+ years. If you enjoy Halloween, this years Spirit Halloween Store in the Westside Shopping Center is worth a visit. Also, Spirit Halloween has a store in the Bridge Street Town Centre for those living closer to that location.

Ive visited the Spirit Halloween on University Drive, Huntsville twice. Once at their Grand Opening and today. Both times the GM Anthony and his staff were helpful beyond measure. Patient, knowledgeable, and helpful each time. If youre in the area, I definitely recommend coming to this site, for your Halloween, Tiktok, and Cosplay needs. I will be back before Halloween. Thank you Anthony and your staff for taking the time and making my experience pleasant and fruitful. Appreciate you guys!!!!

Spirit Halloween is always bomb.

Awesome place. Large Selection. Last minute going this year and has to Return and exchange. No trouble doing so. The cashiers are extremely friendly. Will be back next year but not last minute. Thanks so much

Love the costumes but everything adult seems wayyy too small. I feel like a model size 0 was used as the basis for measurements with size 8 being considered plus. Even the gorgeous wig I bought has to be yanked and stretched to even have a chance of fitting over my hair that’s tucked into a cap. I’m not huge but gosh neither am I anorexic 🤷🏻‍♀️

They have a good selection of costumes, and the employees are friendly, prices are average. I bought costumes for my family on Halloween day at the store on Henderson St in Huntsville. Upon arriving home to dress for trick-or-treating, I found that my sons Darth Vader costume had not been given to me at the counter with my other purchases. Needless to say, it was too late to resolve. Nov 1, I returned to the store after trying to call them (there is no phone number) only to find all Star Wars costumes had been removed and the computer system had been switched to sale prices, which did not exist for this costume, so nothing could be done. At least the employees were nice about it, but the best they could suggest was that I try to sell it on the Facebook marketplace. I am giving low stars because they should have figured out a way to remedy their mistake. I will email corporate considering the matter, hopefully they will have a better remedy, but it doesnt look promising considering there is no phone number to actually speak with a person, even though the recording says hold times may be long. It makes it feel like it is not a legitimate company, rather a big yard sale. No. I think I could provide better customer service. Im very disappointed.
