Ive given out my fair share of 5 star reviews, only Tangled String makes me makes me wish I had more stars to give. It is without hyperbole my favorite place on planet Earth.If you are a fan of indie folk/Americana music Tangled String needs to be on your bucket list of listening rooms. Not only do they book amazing acts for a very intimate and cozy venue, but the sound quality is the best Ive heard anywhere. The music is always comfortably loud, perfectly balanced and clear as a bell -but you could also hear a pin drop (or beer open). Ive never left with my ears ringing. I dont know how they do it.The atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxing. If youve ever showed up to a venue and felt like you just didnt belong there - dont worry about that coming to Tangled String. Plus, you will never have to wedge yourself against a sweaty stranger or have your vision blocked by a tall person. There is a comfortable seat for every ticket holder. Seats are not selected at purchase, they are on a first come first serve basis but every seat is fantastic (I know. Ive sat in most of them and Im very short).This is a BYOB venue and yes, people bring small coolers. I love that Ill never be over charged for cheap wine in a disposable plastic cup, pay $4+ for water, or have to settle for Pepsi if I want a Coke. (Theyre also one door over from Piper and Leaf so great local tea is just a step away.)The owners and employees are incredibly active in our local community and in the surrounding music community. They have an amazing reputation among artists and patrons. You can feel good about where your money is going when you buy a ticket.As long as this review is I just cant say enough good things about Tangled String.

Another terrific concert with Dee White and his band.. Incredible venue with superb acoustics. Intimate, comfortable, and a perfect amount of seating.. To have this available in Huntsville is a gift! Dont hesitate booking ahead. They sell out quickly..

We attended a music listening (concert) of a stringed trio (blue grass esque) which was fabulous. The venue is quaint and has a very personal feel. Danny Davis and family are great hosts, fells like at their home.We will be attending another in the near future.

My first visit; a cozy music hall on a chilly fall night at the unmatched Lowe Mill complex. Three on a String is surely some of the best music ever played in a historic Alabama cotton Mill. What a great night.

Absolutely love the place! Friendly atmosphere with super neat unique decor. The musical talent was awesome! I had a great time! With more ac I would give it five stars.

Dont let this place slip off your searches. Its an honest to goodness, top notch listening room. If you havent heard the act, fret not, theyre gonna be good. Go.

We had our second show there last night, and once again the crew at TSS did an amazing job. The sound was excellent, monitors and front of house! I love the way they make you feel at home. This is everything you want in a listening room and more. I cant wait to do another show there. Thank yall so much!!!

This place is awesome. We were walking around Lowe Mill, waiting for a concert to start, on The Dock, and happened onto this place (Tangled String Studios). There was a guy hanging around outside drinking a mimosa. He saw us and asked want to come in and have one? He continued by saying, They are free!Just as we were about to walk in, the guy said the producer from Outkast is talking, so just go in and be quiet, and listen, he said all this with a smile on his face.It was my birthday this night, so this was really cool to see.

Huntsville is so fortunate to have this hidden treasure. I have attended one show at the studio and loved it. I was awestruck after taking one step in the door not to mention, the owner is one of the most welcoming, friendly gentlemen that I have encountered. I look forward to attending future shows and becoming more aquainted with the place.
