Really great bunch of folks here. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I havent ever heard them talking down to anyone. If you have questions they will get you answers. The prices are very reasonable, even in the middle of a pandemic.

Mr. Big guns was a great experience. They had a gun that I was interested in, ordered Thursday and was to my local gun dealer Tuesday morning. Everything was timely on their end and in a very professional matter. They contacted me and always kept me in the loop, will continue to do business with them in the future and will recommend all friends and family with them as well. By the way I ordered the gun via phone Thursday afternoon, as I live in Wisconsin and had the gun in hand Tuesday even with Monday being MLK day, awesome group to work with!!!

Ive been here more often than my bank account probably wants me to! Matt is an amazing owner and more helpful than any of the other gun store owners Ive met within 100 miles and believe me I regularly visit many gun stores in that radius! Had handicapped parking and cutout so my wheelchair was able to get up onto sidewalk leading to front door. 5 or more employees asked if we needed help. They were all exceedingly verbal asking questions and had a wealth of info. There were a lot of long guns, some handguns and reloading equipment, scales, dies, tools, etc. But with our current situation on ammo supplies, not any common primers in store. Have not seen this much stuff to build a rifle anywhere in North Alabama. Sure glad we found them in North Huntsville. We will go again soon.

I found them to be super helpful, not pushy, highly informed. The previous owner had issues but that was years past. New owner. They have a huge selection, I was a budget buyer and they treated me like a king. They go the extra mile, sharp shooters .

It was ok. To compare with its current competition in town:Price: ~5% higher.Ammunition: 9MM and 45 did not seem available at the time of visit. 22LR was available. Shotgun shells were available.Staff: Knowledgeable, friendly, willing to help. Service was quicker than competition.I would shop here again due to location and helpfulness of staff.

Super nice staff and owner. They don’t treat you like you’re a fool and don’t know what you’re looking for like one of the other big gun stores in Huntsville. If they don’t have it in store, they will order it for you. They have some of the lowest, best prices in town. So far I haven’t found anyone cheaper. Good source to go to when looking to build an AR.

Called and asked about rings and pic rails. Was assured they had multiple choices in what I needed for a long action rifle. I was halfway to the store and they offered to install for free so I drive all the way home to get my rifle and drive all the way back, They dont have anything he said they had. Total waste of time. Will not be back. Was offered nothing for their total waste of my time.

This is hands down the best gun shop in Huntsville,, I’ve always ordered all my parts and guns online for quite sometime, rather than dealing with some of the other gun shops around until I stumbled across Mr Big Guns, now I’m at this shop at least once a week. They carry top notch guns and parts. Imagine if they didn’t have they would order it for you if that’s what you wanted. They are very good honest working people, that will go out of there way to gain your trust and business. Will continue to do majority my business here for years to come.If you have not been by here and are working on a build, I would suggest swinging by an at least take a look for yourself.

Called looking for a black sba4. Said they had one left. Guy held it for me until I arrived. Got to the store and he tells me its grey. 40 minute drive for me one way. As far as everything else. Its overpriced. Save yourself money and buy it online. Youll have a better shot of getting what you really want.

Awful experience....was price checking and the lady on the phone asked HOW MANY WERE ON MY LIST? I told her only five items .... obviously she didnt have time for my business. She was very rude I wont be referring anyone from my area to shop there!!!

I called to check if they had some hard to find powder. They had what I needed and when I told them I was coming to get it but I was 60 miles away and it would be a while the guy said Ill put it behind the counter for you. I have never done business here before and they held the powder for me. WOW that is above and beyond!! Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. This will be my new go to place especially for reloading supplies.

I have bought several weapons from them. Latest purchases is the Ruger Redhawk and and Kimber Crimson Trace. Will never step foot in here again. I purchased a small 9mm for a future son-in-laws birthday and they assured me it was no problem to come in later to transfer the gun. Fees of course were no problem. When we went in to do it the owner was a pure ahole about this. He wanted to know very rudely and sarcastically why he was doing a transfer. I explained because he personally had said no problem. They done it but his arrogant obnoxious attitude was uncalled for. So shop here if you want but I will spend my hard earned money where it is appreciated.

Mr. Big Guns not only has a good selection of firearms, they have one of the best in store selections of accessories Ive seen to date. The owner knows the difference between hard to find quality accessories vs the run of the mill junk you see filling the shelves for show at other stires. The staff is very knowledgable, and you get the feeling your visiting with friends while shopping there. They have a whole line of reloading supplies that can really save you money in hazmat fees. There is even a competant gunsmith next door. Mr. Big Guns is a true one stop shop for new and experienced gun owners alike.

Mr. Big Guns has the best powder selection for reloaders as far as I can tell. It’s great to be able to walk in and find highly sought after powders that were virtually nonexistent the past couple of years. Matt and his staff do a great job and I’m looking forward to the rest of his reloading selection growing to the level of his powder selection. I needed to replace a beloved handgun after a burglary and did a quick online search, was able to order the gun online for a great price & have it delivered to this Mr. Big Guns location. Initially I was told the gun would be delivered in 3-5 days and it ended up being more like 3 weeks but I attribute this to the Covid-19 lockdown and not Mr. Big Guns the retailer.Dropped by the pick up the gun and the process was fast and efficient compared to my experience with other places, like Cabela’s. I went the same day I ordered this firearm online to buy a handgun to have for conceal carry right away as all concealable firearms were stolen in a burglary as previously stated. (Yes, I have a conceal carry license and have for 5 years now.) I went to Cabela’s & it took forever, very impersonal service, I ended up buying nothing.

Great selection of parts and a supply of all of the small detents and springs that tend to get lost when you clean/build your AR15. They even have some niche items like AK74 mags (5.45x39). Best prices on AR lowers I have seen locally. Definitely check this place out - I refer all of my friends here.

The shop is very well lit, and easy to find items. The associates are friendly and helpful. I spoke tothe owner and the level of service was outstanding. They are the only Steyr firearms dealer in town so that was a big plus for me. They have a gunsmith next door but was not open at the time I went.

Matt (no relation) has really made his mark in one of the most-competitive markets in the Southeast. Hes done that through engaging customer service, good pricing and the ability to fill the gaps in the local market no one else had the foresight to address.This store is your go-to for reloading supplies, as Matt continues to expand his inventory. Currently stocking Hornady and Lee reloading hardware, I suspect well be seeing him add higher-end equipment like Redding in the future. His powder inventory simply has no peer in the 256, and he has leveraged NoAL-based projectile factories for bullets, a pleasant surprise.As a firearms dealer, his inventory is also increasing as business picks up. His staff is safety-focused and knowledgeable, and delivers personal attention and patience.

Gave a bunch of BS about what documents I needed to pick up an FFL transfer. Wouldnt accept drivers license or voter registration with my current address. Had to show them a title. Go elsewhere.

The last time I visited this shop was when it was JCs Gun and Tackle and Mr Big Guns is a huge improvement! The staff was helpful and the prices are good. Glad to see their getting a Silencer Shop kiosk soon and if the owner does see this, whats your policy on shipping guns from other FFLs?

They dont have a huge inventory (yet) compared to larger gun shops, but the staff is helpful and the prices are better than most gun shops around. Question for the owner: Is you gun shop a Class III/SOT dealer or do you have future plans to become one?
