Very good prices in used stoves. it was delivered on time by efficient personable guy who even set the clock for us. Old stove was hauled away for a reasonable fee

I had a 20 year old lid switch that went bad on my Maytag. Was prepared to buy a new switch for about $40, and took the switch into Northgate. They stuck a voltmeter on the switch and found that one small part was bad, and they were able to replace it within minutes, and I was out the door for $18. My washer is up and running again, And I was happy to support our local business.

Updated Review:We had an issue with our intake valve on our washer, and they were able to come out really quick and fix it. Jeremy was super nice and gave us a few pointers on how to best use our machines. Super happy with the service we received!Initial Review:First time use and I have water all over my laundry room. They were very friendly and said they would send someone out to look at it. Will update later with results.

These repairman really know how to renew and refurbish used appliances. I made a great deal there buying a 2nd fridge for our garage. Garden harvest time really puts pressure on fridge/freezer space. They helped me find a goid, gently used Amana to fillbour needs. I know they ll give honest appraisals on whatever is on their sales floor. Theyve really filled a much needed niche in the Idaho Falls area.

I have been quite a few times since it shows. They always have what I need. Plus the prices have been amazing each time I go. The most recent purchase was a 120v washer dryer combo that was replacing the exact model. Works amazing. Plus for my work they have had every stove element that I have ever needed.

I bought a washer from them in November used it a couple of times it leaked water and it sounded like it was not balanced. Returned it two weeks after i bought it. Never heard back from them and never got my money back.

These guys are so helpful and knowledgeable. They diagnosed and fixed both my washer and dryer for a reasonable price. They scheduled me quickly, and then also called 15 minutes before coming. They gave an accurate price quote from the get-go. I especially appreciate that they don’t seem to mind me asking questions or watching (I’m curious about how things work)! I’d use these guys again for sure. Now... I’m off to do laundry!

I called Northgate Appliance to see if they could come fix my washer in my home. I made an appointment and they came out the next day. They were very friendly and professional. Not even 5 minutes after showing up the guy had the washer torn apart and diagnosed what was causing it to not work. He had the parts in his van even. He had it fixed and running within 30 minutes. Fair pricing and friendly service. I will go to them for future appliance repair and id recommend them to anyone. Overall 5 star experience!

Northgate Appliance sent Jeremy out to repair our dryer (I knew it needed a new element) and he came within 30 minutes of my call. Within another 30 minutes he had replaced the element, torched the vent to clean off 10+ years of melted/caked on polyester fibers and even loosened the fine lint buildup in the exhaust vent housing!! Fast, professional and very nice! Thank you for making the laundry process for a family of 8 less dreadful!

I dont normally do this, but we were taken such good care of that I am going to give a shout out. Northgate Appliance has been wonderful! Morgan, Jeremy and Blake all jumped through hoops to get us a good, working washing machine after ours decided to die. They found us a great deal, made certain it was working well, and delivered it to us. They each went above and beyond. We have been SO impressed and will definitely recommend them to our friends. I can’t say enough good things about the folks who work here. I went in to buy a replacement dryer fuse; instead of just selling one to me, they tested it and told me it was still good and suggested what I should check next. Three times today they took the time to do that for me, showing me the correct parts on dryers they were working on in their shop. One employee even drew a wiring diagram for me. All for free. At no point did they make me feel like I was stupid, they never tried to sell me something I didn’t need, and they didn’t insist that I hire a repairman. I was able to fix the dryer myself this time (thanks to their guidance), but the next time I need an appliance repairman, I’m definitely calling these guys. Awesome, helpful, generous people.

The sales boy was cocky. When it came to delivery he was so rude! Scratched my wood floor and just shrugged it off like he didnt care. Worse yet...the fridge we bought doesnt work right. It never gets cold enough even as high as it will go and the freezer wont get cold enough to freeze bread or ice cream! I wont go back!

I really appreciated the customer service and speed of service I received from NGA. I walked in needing a dryer, found one that looked good, and they had it delivered to me in Rexburg at a fair price. They even took my old dryer away! Ill definitely be coming back to them for future needs!

Took my washer there to see what was wrong. Told me the rear bearing was out and how it want worth fixing, and to use it till it dies. Didnt charge me a tear down and fixed a part at no charge.

Easy to work with in finding reasonably priced parts for this DIY repair guy. And, they give great instructions so I can impress the wife when I do the repairs on my own!

So I bought a Samsung washer and dryer from them.i had the regular maintenance. But as soon as was done it cleared. But then washer broke. I am not impressed. I would have rather given money to new stuff. U know. Especially since I am on disability.

So knowledgeable and helpful at this shop. Highly recommended!

Very poor customer service. We needed our washer to get checked out and the guy on the phone acted like it was a major inconvenience to even call and ask him about it. This is our second experience like this with Northgate appliance and we will not give them a third chance.
