My car had be decommissioned for over 6 months because of a leak my dad and I were unable to find. They had it fixed within 5 days. Send full service reports, and didnt use any sketchy tactics. It showed me some of what we knew and more!I got a transmission service and now my car drives like its brand new.The employees and owners are amazing. They are supportive and give legitimate advice. I am posting this review on behalf of my aunt, who recently took her 2019 Jeep Cherokee to Sage Creek Repair. On Sage Creeks website, they indicate that they service Jeeps. In fact, they claim expert Jeep repair. Your Jeep dealer alternative. For complete Jeep repair and service count on the professionals at Sage Creek Repair in Idaho Falls, Idaho. With what she assumed was factual information from the website, she took her Jeep to Sage Creek. After four days, she was told that their computers are unable to read a car as new as hers. Not only did it take them four days to relay this information, they also left car in un-drivable condition and she had to have the vehicle towed from the premises at her own expense. We still cannot ascertain what Sage Creek did to the car to leave it in worse condition than when it was dropped off, nor why it took them four days to conclude that they were unable to repair the car as they could not diagnose the problem at all. Note that my aunt does not live in Idaho Falls, and she was stranded without a vehicle during this time. Perhaps Sage Creek ought to update the information on their website, and take better care of senior citizens who are stranded far from home by providing factual information upfront, and at the very least not leaving peoples vehicles in worse condition without appropriate remuneration. They ought to be able to immediately discern which vehicles they are able to repair, and be forthcoming with their customers. If you have a newer Jeep, do NOT take your car to Sage Creek Repair.

Sage Creek went through a car for me before I purchased it. It helped so much to know the repairs the seller listed had actually been done properly. Later I had to bring that same car in for engine light diagnosing. They went through the car again and corrected the problem by replacing my battery. After another little hiccup everything was fixed and Im loving my little car. Theyve been honest with me, friendly, and have gone out of their way to help me.

My car needs a ton of work, and it took a couple weeks to get my blazer back. But they were very kind and responsive to neediness. They made sure address every issue with me before proceeding or stopping. The website with the pictures is very helpful as well.BE PATIENT AND KIND, they are human and parts are stupid right now.

I had my car towed here after reading a lot of good reviews here on Google. I knew the engine was pretty much shot and had heard they employed a good Subaru mechanic. The car was dropped there around July 20th, 2021. At first communication was good. Kabrina, one of the ladies that works there told me that the car should be in the shop to find out what it needed in repairs around the 26th. She also gave an idea of what a motor replacement would cost. It was a ballpark figure of around $6000. That seemed in line with what I had seen online and heard from other shops.Im not exactly sure why it went down like this, but the 26th rolled around, then another 2 weeks rolled around and then another 2 weeks. When I called I was told they were getting to it soon and that Kabrina would call me back. She did not. I had to call again, and when asked what the status was she said Didnt you get my quote. No I did not get a quote. Then she started to breakdown what the repairs would cost depending on what they found when they got into it. So, now I realize that they never even physically checked my car out. So it sat in their lot for well over a month and they did nothing. Back to the cost of the repairs. By the time she had finished racking up all the possibilities, the quote was now $14,000. That is $8000 more than the ballpark figure. Needless to say, I was beside myself. Im sorry, but these folks have been at this for a very long time. How is it they could be that far off?I grew up with a father that was in the car repair business. Integrity along with skills is what made him a great mechanic. You could rely on him to do the job right and be honest.This episode with my car is a perfect example of why people dont trust auto shops.Save your time, money and grief, and use someone else.

Took great care of us! Did an amazing job on our suburban, and kept us updated the whole time with what they found and needed to be fixed.

They fixed the problem with my 96 Tacoma. Although there were multiple delays due to parts shipping, the staff did a good job making sure my truck was repaired. I appreciated Kabrina going the extra mile to show me the old compressor and the road hazard damage that made the repair necessary. This business has been wonderful to work with! My car died in the middle of an intersection, and I needed a lot more work done than just maintenance. I called them, and they helped me find a towing service, gave me a free health check-up for my car, and quoted me 75-200 for diagnostic testing. They have been upfront with me about the process of repairs so far, and they are getting my car in fairly quickly. I have just been so impressed with them so far! Thank yall, I really appreciate it! And no, they did not pay me to say it. Theyre just stinkin amazing.

I cannot say anything but fantastic things about this shop! Ive looked around for quite some time for someone who would really take a look at my Subaru. Had an issue with back hatch not closing. Grease Monkey wanted to replace the part and charge a bunch to repair. SCR applied some grease and sent me on my way no charge. Great service. Ladies up front were so kind!

Terrible customer service. Never answer the phone. Took forever to get car back. The repairs completed didn’t fix the problem and now car has to go back to the shop. Very unhappy and won’t use them ever again.

Highly recommended. They keep it black & white & you in control of what happens to your car without the run-around upselling were all nervous of. My car was diagnosed, they provided me a list of what was recommended from minimal to urgent, and they ultimately saved me a lot of money and inconvenience. I had a great deal of comfort in trusting their services and was treated like a top priority. I live in Boise, but they are my go-to mechanic now.

Sage creek repair did a great job for me. I have had an oil leak under my engine for some time and their free inspection really helped me to know exactly where it was coming from. It also informed me to know what other items should be addressed and others to be aware of. We had a few hiccups throughout the repair process, most of which were not the fault of sage creek repair, so things did take a little longer than expected, but Brett, Katrina, and the technician we good to work with and helped me out to the best of their ability. I have no complaints whatsoever about their service.

Took my manual wrx because my clutch was slipping. After having it for a week they finally got back to me with a clutch replacement quote of 3500 and change. Took it to clutch world on Holmes and had the replacement completed before end of day for less than half the cost. If you need clutch work done and dont want to be taken advantage of go to Clutch World.

Had my car for 4 weeks, ducked my calls, fixed nothing, charged me $300. Great shop.

Very professional. I took our van in on Monday evening. It needed a few big repairs done. I said if you can get it done by Friday end of day, then lets do it. They delivered! It was done and they even went the extra mile and cleaned it for me. I will definitely recommend to anyone.

I took my truck in for a repair and nothing was repaired. My insurance was supposed to cover it but didn’t end up covering it. The lady said she couldn’t get ahold of them But I wasnt aware of that. until I called and asked about it. or else I wouldve tried and got ahold of my insurance. It sat in the parking lot for almost a month with no updates or no work. I decided to not end up letting them work on it due to how long they were taking. I told her I was going to pick up my truck Friday afternoon I couldn’t make it before they closed due to I work late and asked if she could leave the keys there for me in the truck and she said yes. When I showed up nothing was there. I had to go another 2 days with no truck. When I picked it up the truck was dead and I had to pass it cables. It didn’t want to turn on I went inside and notified them. A guy from Their came outside and got it to turn on. When it turned on I was going to wait a bit for it to charge up. The guy told me I could Just leave it there and he would come back outside and turn it off for me in 15min that was at 3pm when I came back at 830pm the truck was still on. The guy never came back to turn it off. Its been nothing bust stress. The two ladies in the front are really nice The only good thing I can give them.

After having my car for over a month, I finally got in touch with them, and they let me know what the problem is, so I can finally get it taken care of. 👌

We were driving to Yellowstone for the Labor Day weekend and our transmission decided to break down just outside of Idaho Falls. While they were busy and booked they were able to squeeze me in and take a look at it. They went out of their way to help us and gave us a ride to the car rental place. They worked on our behalf with the extended warranty company to have our transmission services approved. They had it done when they said it would be done with the agreed upon amount with no surprises. They told me everything they would recommend to fix but wasnt pushy when I asked what needed to be done to get the car back home which is about a 2.5 hour drive away. If I ever am in need of car repair in Idaho Falls again I will not hesitate and seek Sage Creek Repair out again.

This is the best service I have ever had. We took our car to another shop that tried to rip us off, and we decided to come here instead because they quoted us half the price of the dealership. They fixed our car very quickly and gave us a guarantee, when we came to pick up our car, they were finishing up with a car wash! I am amazed at the professionalism and courtesy of Sage Creek Repair. I would give Sage Creek a minus star rating if I could, it was the worst experience I have ever had with a auto repair shop, was given 4 different amounts for estimate, they had the vehicle since July even knowing it was the only transportation my daughter had to get to work, then the agreement that was originally made was then changed several times and finally I took the vehicle to a different place and already have been treated better. I would never recommend this shop unless your great friends of the owners then maybe youll get treated decent but I doubt it.

I found the owner and staff at Sage Creek Repair to be very professional and completely competent. They took time to go over all needed repairs and made sure to talk to me before starting any work. I will go back in the future.

Im an out of towner who had a coolant leak somewhere in the system. Overall, my experience with this place was fantastic! I called and Kabrina was able to get me in the same day, the vehicle inspection report they provide was incredibly useful (not only for realizing my water pump was bad, but for pointing out all of the other issues my van had), and they replaced what needed to be fixed within the week. The staff were all very friendly and, most importantly, I was able to make it home and have not had a problem with what they repaired!

I must have caught them at a busy time, because they were super nice but getting my car back was really frustrating. I was told the repair would be finished on a Friday, then was told Saturday, then Monday morning, then finally my car was finished after closing time Monday night. They were so overwhelmed, I didnt hear from them when they said I would. I had to call them and leave a voicemail. I think every time I went in, there was no one in the office. Seems like they really need a second service advisor so someone can be at the front desk when customers come in. I was otherwise satisfied, but going without transportation for six days vs. the two to three days it was supposed to be was really hard.

They completed a full inspection and sent me an email with the issues. It included pictures with the fluids and explained everything that needed to be done. The repairs were done on time and for the amount agreed on. I will take all my vehicles here from now on.

Did a PPI on a vehicle for me and was very impressed with how thorough they were. Then then took the time to explain all that they found, what costs to fix would be and their insights. Have earned my return business for sure.

I have a medium duty commercial truck that most mechanics don’t have a lot of experience working on. In fact, most shops didnt even have the right computer equipment to diagnose the code thrown. After speaking with Mike on the issue I was having with my truck, I was very confident in having him work on my truck. He’s extremely knowledgeable and showed true professionalism. I will definitely be using and referring these guys to anybody who needs work done on their automobiles.

From Montana broke down with a bad transfer case. Had an extended warranty who are actually a pain to deal with and Kabrina took excellent care with getting things done. Would recommend them for anything.

Great service! I thought they were very professional from start to finish. The quote came with pictures and an explication of the problem, it made it very helpful to understand and to decide what to fix. I would recommend this shop!

Kabrina was helpful and friendly. That being said, getting my car fixed was a long drawn out process. My car needed a clutch replacement, which took over a month. Finally I got my car back. After a short drive home I noticed odd vibrations in my car and ALL MY WHEEL LUGS WERE LOOSE. They forgot to torque any of them down. It was like that scene in national lampoons family vacation. Everyone I talked to was friendly, but I had to go 6 weeks without a car and when I got it back I had to jack up my car and tighten my own lugs.Edit: I understand that most of the delay was on the part of my warranty company. Frustrating though it was, I wouldn’t have written a review just for that. The main problem was the loose lugs, Which presented a significant safety risk, and risk of further damage to my vehicle. Other than that, the work does seem well done and satisfactory.

This is my favorite, and only shop I trust with my car. I own a Smart car and they have done a great job keeping it running. It is difficult to do any word on it. But they always get it done in a timely rate and reasonable price. They are just the best.

I bought a bus from auction and had it towed here to have it inspected and repaired. Being that I live in Palm Springs I wanted to know if it would be road worthy to drive home. I couldnt recommend a better place to work with. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shop it self was extremely accommodating. This is the only shop worth going to. They make sure you are taken care of. From the start to finish whether its just a oil change to a full engine or transmission replacement.

Sage Creek Repair told me that a diagnosis of the problem with my car would be between 55-110 dollars. They charged me the full 110 when they didnt even take that long looking at my car. Then they tried to pressure my wife into doing repairs that we didnt want to do even though she made that clear. Then to top it all off they refuse to give us a detailed diagnosis or quote for the potential repairs even though weve asked for those multiple times. I expected better considering the other stellar reviews but we will absolutely not be returning.

We are highly pleased with the service we get from Sage Creek Auto. We have lived in IF for 29 years, and we have found Sage Creek to have knowledgeable and experienced mechanics who do excellent work. These mechanics have diagnosed and fixed problems before they became large problems. Kabrina and the mechanics provide logical explanations and professional recommendations relative to work that is being done and also work that could be done to keep my 2003 Jeep Cherokee and 2008 Ford Expedition in top condition. Im pushing high millage on each car and yet I expect to drive both vehicles for another decade with Sage Creeks help. And I like the professional touch- they test drive my car after each repair- they clean the vehicle, and they are willing to pick up my vehicle, drop me off, pick me up- or do whatever they need to to accommodate my busy work schedule.Sage Creek charges fairly, and give me a discount on most services. Whether its brakes, transmission/drive lines, timing chains, valve adjustments- I am very pleased with the service I have gotten from Sage Creek. The guarantee their work. Brett, the owner, calls me after each repair to be sure Im satisfied. But seriously, I have never been disappointed.

Very professional service. They were thorough with tracking down the best replacement part for my money, communication was excellent, and the service was timely.

I had previously written a five star rating based on my first couple of experiences, but as the year went on and I went back for oil changes and check-ups, I was disappointed. They had told me I needed almost a $250 radiator flush and my dad suggested that I got a second opinion, so I did. Not only did I find somewhere that would do it for half the price, when I took it in they had showed me that my radiator looked fine it as well as testing fine. I will not be returning and I will NOT be referring.

On my way up to Idaho Falls from Logan, my car wigged out on me at Blackfoot and I ended up having to have it towed. Brett and Kabrina were awesome to work with. Took in my Pacific for the timing belt, they did a great job. Had an unfortunate series of miscommunications, and a broken shifter interlock right ( not their fault) after I got it back that made me super mad, but Kabrina handled it like a boss. Very professional, polite, great work - would definitely recommend!
