Woody Smith Hyundai to the rescue again! We live out of state and come to Idaho often to visit family. While traveling on vacation I had an unexpected fender bender with my brother in law. One of my rear taillights was damaged and Woody Smith Hyundai was able to find the new taillight and was able to get it in quickly. When I called at the last minute to see if they could also do an oil change while they had the car in they were able to fit me in. Both items took less than an hour!

I came in to get the batteries in my keys replaced and despite buying my car here over 4 years ago, the staff went out of their way to remind me I still had a free oil change available. My experience with Woody Smith has been a positive one each time thanks to the amazing staff. It’s very apparent they just love people. Would highly recommend doing business with them.

This is my first brand new car in 40 years. my brother in law told me to take a look at Hyundai. so i got on the web and went to Hyundais web sight looked at the 2022 Tucson hybrid limited. i was talking to a Hyundai salesman in Lindon, Utah got a price then i said i will check out my local dealer woody smith Hyundai. so i went there to see what they would do for me. i went in the sales office and that is when i meant Austin Wedel we sat down and i told him what i was looking at. i showed him what Utah offered me and he talked to his boss came back and told me what they can do for me. so i said order it for me. Austin was great to work with always have a smile on his face and has a great personality. while as i was waiting for my car i would go in and talk to him he would take the time with me. as for woody smith Hyundai they where great to work with. so what i would say is i recommend this dealer ship. for your next car.

We just picked up our third Hyundai from Woody Smith. We have traveled from Boise 3x to avoid the local dealer who just likes to make things hard. Hard to find someone who can just answer questions, hard to find a reasonable price, and hard to just pay for the car without all the other stuff being jammed down your through. This is not what I have found at Woody Smith. William Locke handled our last transaction on a very hard to find Pallisade for my wife. Made it easy. Didnt happen fast, but thats a supply issue. Woody Smith did not charge a mark-up like they wanted in Boise. Overall a great experience, which is very rare in car buying. Thanks again Bill!

My experience with this dealership was so much better than all the others Id be in contact with while trying to find the right Outback. I don’t know how many new cars my wife and I have purchased over our 50+ years of marriage but it is quite a few. Up till this week every experience at a new car dealership has been unpleasant. I needed an oil change and I thought I needed new brakes. I had heard some grinding when I would stop. Woody Smith Hyundai did the oil change and when they checked the brakes the pads were still good and they saved me the cost of new brakes. They washed and vacuumed the truck and cleaned the rotors to help stop the grinding. I appreciate their great service

My car entered limp-mode (P1326 diagnostic code) on my roadtrip from California. Tanya described possible issues and causes once I mentioned the diagnostic code. Highly knowledgeable staff. Both Tanya and Tiffany were very kind to arrange for a courtesy pick-up/drop, despite a super busy day in their service department. Fortunately, my 2015 (154K miles) car required a just software update that was covered by warranty. Their service charge was pretty reasonable. They also quoted me for a gasket fix that I know preexisted – their cost/duration quote was very reasonable too. I highly recommend Woody Smith Hyundai for your car care.

I went for my first oil change after purchasing my car. They were so quick and even washed it! I’m going to enjoy going to them for service for the life of my car.

I give them a 6 star rating. William went over and above to get me a car I love and help me in a difficult crisis. I had an engine fire in a remote area en route to Yellowstone. I contacted William with Woody Smith Hyundai to see if they had any new Sonatas available for sale. He worked late Friday evening to get the financing and paperwork in place and the next day sent a driver to pick me up 2.5 hours away to bring me to get the car. He was very helpful and patient at showing me the features of the new car and expediting the paperwork process. A short while later, I was driving my new car away and was able to continue on my trip. Im eternally grateful for his help in bailing me out of a very difficult situation.

Probably one of the most satisfying experiences we have had with a sales person. Mike had a lot of patience with us older people, taking the time to answer all of our questions in such a way that we understood. In fact, all of the people we met at the dealership were friendly. If we could give them more than five stars, we would.

This review is for the service shop - I havent interacted with the dealership itself. I interacted with Tanya who was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The mechanics found some critical wires in my 2017 Elantra that had been rodent-chewed and they said replacing the necessary component is ordinarily ~$3500. Fortunately they said they save/salvage some of the necessary sub-components when possible, bringing the cost down to ~$300. Based on my experience, Id certainly recommend this shop.

Service in their service shop is amazing! Super friendly, very affordable and I love that they get your car cleaned for you when you’re getting an oil change. Highly recommend this place to come get your oil changed. I have been coming here now for about a year.

Great at selling cars but horrific at making sure they work first. We bought two cars from them and unfortunately had problems with both of them. The first one didn’t last week before we found out the four-wheel-drive was broken and it needed a new transmission. Woody Smith told us the four-wheel-drive worked when we bought it (that was the whole reason we bought the vehicle) so they fixed everything but it took 2 1/2 months to get it done and we were without a car during the entire time. The second vehicle had The check engine light, oil light and antiskid light come on within the first week. It turns out it needed about $1,500 of work done. I couldn’t get it to drive and got stuck. We couldn’t afford to be without a car again for two more months so we had to pay for all the repairs ourselves. If you’re buying a brand new car you’re probably fine to go with them. I understand used cars not being perfect and maybe needing a thing or two fixed but not like this. I would NEVER recommend their shop or get a used car from them! What a nightmare. - Lanae

Over the Labor Day weekend my family and I were visiting Yellowstone from WA state. We have a new Hyundai Palisade. Unfortunately, we had some car trouble - an engine light and a car not running right. We had to be towed from West Yellowstone to Idaho Falls to your dealership on a Friday afternoon, Labor Day weekend on the last day of our vacation. Talk about the worst time to be stranded out of state with limited services, very few rental cars available that can tow a camper, and no place having space for our RV to wait for repairs. And yet, we had an exceptional experience thanks in part to your staff. Tiffany Eldridge and Nathan Tonks went above and beyond to help us. We were told that the mechanics had a full schedule but would try to squeeze us in if they could or if they finished their work early. Within an hour of arriving at the dealership we were back out on the road to our campsite to solve the rest of our last day of vacation problems - but our car repairs were no longer on that list.
