These people sold me things they didnt have, sent me into a warehouse wher the items were not and then told me they didnt have them and tried giving me something i didnt even buy. I truely cant even understand how these people even keep their jobs.DO NOT RECOMEND VERY INCOMPETENT!!!

I have been going to BMC since 2005. Thier customer service has went downhill drastically. I have been so frustrated at the counter help the last few times I have been in. I wont be going back.

Ordered doors. Took 3. Months plus they were wrong. Never again will deal with this company. Customer service does not exist here

I usually only post reviews to rave about how great businesses are but BMC is the absolute worst. Literally I can’t get the right doors delivered to our house. It’s been 2 months and we’ve had SEVERAL wrong doors delivered and we are STILL waiting on the right ones. Our trim guys have he to pick upSupplies because they couldn’t get BMC to bring it over, our paint guys accidentally painted a wrong door because it is for some reason still in our house and BMC haven’t switched it out. I’ve talked to several people who are using BMC who are having the same issue with the rep. So awful, wouldn’t recommend them because the service is awful.

I work for a restoration company (Tobin), so I stop at BMC regularly, and every time is the same issue. It seems like the guys at the front desk dont want to help their customers. Today at least two guys saw that I was waiting for someone to help me, and they didnt care; they were busy talking between coworkers. BMC has many materials, almost all you need, but their customer service is awful.

Great service, friendly and answered all my questions. Purchased what I went in to gather information on.

Everytime I go there I get a lecture in the yard about not being able to cut boards this length or that length. That the office shouldnt have sold me those lengths. And thats after I can find help in the yard.

Jesse went above and beyond to make sure we had the product we wanted. He was amazing to work with! It was loaded quickly, and their prices cannot be beat. We will definitely go back to BMC for our next building need.

If you are looking for a company that is honest and going to stand by their work this is the place. They are amazing to work with and are so helpful. We had a issue and without hassle they took care of us and went above and beyond. They have earned alot of respect from me

Good selection, and the staff is great, but the delivery and pickup return is horrible. Items are often not sent even when on invoice and then when they picked up the left over material they tried to not count half the items. So take a picture when it arrives and before you send it back. Slightly better prices on longer lumber but Lowes is way better on standard stud prices and the lumber nicer. Bad edges and lots of slivers from BMC wood. On the Douglas Fir, not the cheaper Hemlock or other stuff.

My wife and I were just talking about how great the guys are to work with at BMC. Well, today they really helped us out of a bind. I especially want to recognize Rod, but all the guys at the main sales counter are awesome to work with as well!

They installed the garage door at my shop. Worked very quick and it looks awesome! Had a slight alignment issues but they responded very quickly and took care of us. Great work.

BMC is a great place to find all your building materials. I also appreciate how helpful and friendly the employees are.

Important to keep this information at the forefront. This is a REAL customer experience I had with this business in 2012 with roofing work performed on my vacation home: Consumer beware! Use anyone but this company for your roofing needs. BMC gave me a low quote to re-roof my home and then when done billed me for more than $400.00 more than originally quoted. When I would not pay the $400.00 more they took me to court and tried to foreclose on my home to get their extra dollars. Attorney fees and court costs increased the cost of their roof another $5000.00. BMC is very good at customer no service along with being ruthless and vicious when it comes to doing what is right.

Good lumber availability, but some of the staff don’t seem interested in you as a customer very much. Overall they do great work and have a good selection.

Got an internet quote for insulation my garage. Had to call 3 weeks later to get the employee to schedule a walkthrough, and then they never showed up or called me back.

Somewhat limited in what they offer, but I did get the supplies for a recent project here at a better price than ANYBODY else in Eastern Idaho. They may not have EVERYTHING you need, but they have great prices for the stuff they do sell.

No one is in a hurry here to help you out.
