Thought we lost all our data in our MacBook Air. Dropped it off, within 2 days, received a call to update me on the computer. All my data had been recovered. David handled my repair with a level of professionalism (even with my lack of knowledge when it comes to computers). I will return if I ever have issues with any apple products. This place is trustworthy and has excellent customer service.
Quick and hassle-free professional service to recover data, troubleshoot old Macs that dont start, etc. Courteous and honest discussion of repair and upgrade options. Visual Dynamics puts the customers interests first, even when it means giving up some profit. What?! Exceptional.Their expert technician David at the Indian Harbour Beach location also provided helpful free step-by-step advice that enabled me to recover valuable bookmarks and settings myself. Yeah man!My family has patronized this great local business for years, and returning is a no-brainer! Top marks. 👍👌🥇
The employees did not know very much information on the computer I was looking at. They were also not very helpful and didn’t seem like they wanted to help. I would not recommend buying a $1000+ laptop with out proper help and information from employees. I do not recommend this store. I would advise going to the apple store in Orlando.
I literally never write reviews, but this place needs to really start working on their customer service. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because my computer issue was solved but they are not friendly at all! I get it we all have bad days but the 4-5 times I had to contact them either by phone or in person, both of their reps were beyond rude! I highly recommend going somewhere else for a more pleasant experience, considering that you will be out of your computer or phone for some time.
I took an iPhone 11 to this Apple partner. The screen had a dark spot in the bottom right corner and there were vertical lines in other places. The young lady took the phone to the back, came back and indicated there was water damage. She was extremely short and almost rude. When I indicated the phone had not been near any water, she was adamant that the phone had water damage. She further indicated it would cost $500-700 to fix the phone. She continued to advise me that the internal liquid indicator indicator was red in color...showing there had been liquid exposure. I again stressed the phone had not been near water. She continued to be rude and was frankly, disinterested in anything I had to say. I took the phone home and did some research. I noted the external liquid indicator on the phone was not red in color. I also found apple forum postings of other iPhone 11 users who had the same screen issue I was having. I then took the phone to another Apple partner. That partner ran diagnostics in front of me. He then checked the liquid indicator and advised me that the internal indicator did NOT show any liquid exposure. He determined the issue was the actual screen on the phone. He replaced the screen in less than 2 hours and I paid NOTHING for the repair. It is unfortunate that Visual Dynamics appears to employ individuals who are not interested in any possible future return business and do not want to spend the time to truly diagnose the issue. I would be very wary of taking any device to this partner. There is a huge difference between No Cost and $500-700. If you do choose to visit this business, I would insist they show you the internal liquid indicator if that is your issue.
Seriously messed up service model. The attendants were obsessed with cleaning their stations that were behind a plexiglass and only touched by themselves. Did not once, clean up the customer area. Had Diagnostics done by Apple support yet Visual Dynamics charged for it (over charged). Kept phone for 3 hours once received it back there was a text message to the phone in their position saying that the phone was ready one hour thereafter. Very rude customer representative when I questioned the 3 hour delay and a diagnostic charge. His response was do you want your phone fixed or not.
My mom and I were in the store today regarding our MacBook Pro. We were greeted by the three young men that worked there. Not only were all three of them extremely polite and helpful but also very understanding of how frustrating it can be to deal with broken electronics. If I could give them more than five stars I would. It was refreshing to meet a group of young individuals all concerned with providing strong customer service and so knowledgeable regarding apple products. They convinced me to have my computer fixed by assuring me the technician would do an in depth diagnosis and find the root of the problem. Thank you guys!
Really poor customer service. I am not sure why they are considered an Apple Premier Partner. They have never been able to solve any of my apple products. I have made several Mac purchases from them and the support has dramatically declined over the years. Worth a trip to Orlando for real Apple support.
My iPhoneX screen quit responding while I was on holiday break in the Melbourne area. In an act of desperation, I made an appointment at Visual Dynamics through Apple Support. When I arrived, the man at the desk said he could not find my appointment but he would help me anyways. He plugged my phone in and said that he needed to do a restore on my phone that would cost me $40. I was desperate. I paid for it. The restore did not work. I believe we all knew it wouldn’t, but I was told that I had to try that first. Then, I asked if they would look at the warranty since it should still be covered. Apple released a warranty because of this issue with the iPhoneX screens. The man went into a website and said that my phone was coming up with a warning that my phone wasn’t purchased in the states and they can’t service my phone. I still have the receipt from Best Buy in Vero Beach where I purchased it 3 years prior. He gave me a print out of the page and I left. I called Apple Support like they told me to do when I left VD and they said they have no idea why VD would say that my phone wasn’t purchased in the states. Apple Support apologized for the service I received at VD and overnighted a box for me to send my phone to Apple and it was fixed and returned within 5 business days. Also, upon further investigation, the website at the bottom of the print out VD gave me had an Australian web address. *face palm* Really? If you didn’t want to work on it, just say so. Moral of the story, just take it to a professional Apple Store or call Apple Support. These guys are a waste of time.
AMAZING... Some of the best customer service i have experienced in a very long time. Cooper helped make it possible that i didnt have to leave my computer for a couple of days, and make another trip from Cape Canaveral. The work was done in less than an hour and at an incredibly reasonable price . Cant thank them enough...
Amazing as always! Brittany and the rest of the staff are always VERY helpful and take the time needed to understand the process....Thanks again!
Awesome service, had my Macbook serviced here under apple care for free. They are the only ones open during this virus and received my laptop back in perfect condition with a new display after 3 business days!
*UPDATE*To their credit, Visual Dynamics reached out to me and they were able to correct the problem. They explained the issues that they had with Apple and I genuinely believe they were dealing with a difficult situation. I have changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars because stuff happens, but when a company steps up and fixes it, they deserve a pat on the back.Thank you Visual Dynamics*Original Post*Dont bother getting your apple devices fixed here. Its worth the 2 1/2 hour round trip to Orlando to avoid this place.I agree with the owners rebuttal: this was a vague review. Here are the details:I took my relatively new laptop in to Visual Dynamics to have the keyboard replaced under warranty (one or more keys were skipping - this is a known issue with this year/model laptop). Visual Dynamics refused to order the replacement part unless they had my computer in-hand. This meant that my computer sat on their shelf until they ordered and received the part (my time was uselessly wasted). Once they received the part from Apple, it did not fix the problem. They had to order and replace no less than three different parts before they finally gave up. This took nearly two weeks. I had to repeatedly call them to find out what was going on (perhaps they might have called me eventually) . In the end, they said the laptop was now BROKEN and they did not know how to fix it.You can imagine my dismay: I took in a functioning laptop to an Apple-authorized dealer to be repaired and after nearly two weeks was told that not only could they not not fix the original problem, but it was now broken and could not be used at all!Later that day, before I had the chance to come in to pick it up, they called and said they put all of the original parts back into the laptop and that it was now working. When I picked it up and got it home, I noticed two small scratches on the top lid. I immediately called them and was told that it was impossible that they could have caused the damage. They asked me to bring it in for them to look at it. I declined and called Apple customer support instead. So, not only did they keep my laptop for nearly two weeks, they could not fix it, AND THEY SCRATCHED IT TO BOOT!!!Apple customer support asked me to bring it into Visual Dynamics today so they could look at it. I brought it in and they took some pictures that I was told they were going to send to Apple customer support. This ordeal has taken so much of my time and energy... so, as I said originally, save yourself a lot of grief and time, take your computer to Orlando to have it serviced rather than deal with this store.
Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Didnt try to push any sales or services that were unnecessary. Truly felt that he was looking out for my best interest. 5 out of 5 would definitely recommend for Mac repairs and sales.
I will absolutely never return to this business. My son’s phone was taken here to be repaired/replaced. I do admit that my son was not as polite or respectful to the representative, Brittnee, as he should have been when he went in the second time to try and resolve the phone situation. I even apologized for the words that were exchanged. However, after I went in myself later in the day, I can understand why he had the reaction to her “service” that he did. We were told at first that the phone would be replaced under the warranty. Then we were told that it would not because it had a crack in it and was bent...that is exactly how it looked when we took it in originally. As a long term resident and professional in this area, I am shocked by the audacity of this service representative. Never have I experienced this type of so called “service”. Please get your employees some customer service training before you no longer have anyone to service.
The best service in town, Mac specialists and technicians you can trust them on any mac work. Or if you are looking for an upgrade they have it all. They repair my Mac Pro early 2008, and Im quite a happy man again!!! Hope it lasts long and more to come!!!!!!
Great service!
THIS is the place! Authorized Apple repair. Cooper ran diagnostics and fixed me right up. Thanks so much!
I phoned, looking for a new charger for my MacBook Pro under my AppleCare program. Although they had them, they would only sell me one, NOT provide one for warranty purposes.NOT impressed. If they cannot help me when I need them, I will not be spending money with them in the future to replace my computer, iPad or iPhone.Response to store comments.Thank you for your reply, and your explanation. According to the person I spoke with at Apple, the policy was the store’s policy, not theirs. However that could easily been a misunderstanding on my part.None of what you’ve told me here that was possible was explained to me by the person who answered the phone. Had it been explained to me that there were things that could be done to get me up and operating again, I would not have responded as I did. The impression I was left with was that you couldn’t really help me in any kind of timely fashion. On the positive side, the Apple rep was able to have a new charger delivered to me today, and we are back operating. If I might suggest to both Apple and to you, a focus on solving a client’s problems as opposed to following policy might eliminate these misunderstandings. At no point did I have a sense that my problems superseded the policies that must be followed, not from your store nor from Apple.I wish you every success in the new year.
The staff at Visual Dynamics convinced me to switch to Apple computer and I have enjoyed it ever since! It even convinced me to switch to the iPhone and it has made the running of my life with school and work so much easier! The staff here are very experienced and able to answer any question and get any product you need for your computer! Youll enjoy shopping here!
These guys are great. Very helpful and knowledge about all Apple products. Brought an old device back from the dead when Apple Store would have probably just said tough luck. 5 stars.
Bredon was super helpful, professional and knowledgeable.
The guy who took a look at my computer was very short and rude with me when I came in. Would have considered coming back here to get my computer fixed but after the customer service I have decided not to.
Thank you so much for fixing my iMac so fast! You guys are lifesavers! Now I can focus on work and ongoing training.
Stopped in to see if my iPhone 4s was fixable after iOS update 9.3 caused it to freeze. Britney spent over 30 minutes trying a number of possible remedies, none of which worked. Although my phone was 3 years old (but as she said in brand new condition) the Apple update just too much for it. I was upset as I had a perfectly working phone until this. While she was unable to get it working, she was understanding and charged nothing for all the time she spent.
I could not be happier with the service I received with the replacement of the battery in my iPhone 7. I called on Tuesday for a service appointment and got one for Wednesday. It only took an hour and a half to do the work, and now I am back in business, hopefully for another couple of years! Thank you very much!
Fantastic service. In Brevard county, we are blessed to have certified Apple technicians nearby in two locations. The staff and techs are very helpful and dont charge for minor needs. Their personal touch and good product knowledge gives you the same or better service than you would expect from an Apple corporate store.
This place is a fee shop. 120$ just to tell you what your overpriced repair will be. I know my screen is broken how much will it be? “Gee i don’t know bring it in and pay us first” That will be 750$ dollars sir. For a computer you can buy used for 450$. Thanks for the 120$ though. Never recommending or returning. And your desk staff are airheads. EDIT* I called your store and asked what a screen replacement for a 2012 macbook pro costs and your associate refused to give me a estimate until it was checked in. I went to the shop and asked Britnee before checking in how much will it cost? Around 600 wow, ok. Then David calls me after check in and says the repairs are 750$ plus what i already spent. I already knew my screen was broken. No diagnostics needed. I just wanted to know what the price would be to fix the screen and your employees could not tell me even though i specifically asked for the price of just the screen. You should not charge fees if you did not fix the problem. YOUR PRICES SHOULD BE PUBLIC. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TO KNOW YOUR PRICES.
The staff and service at Visual Dynamics was hands down professional and 100% capable of solving my issues in a timely manner. The service technician kept me informed of the progress during the whole time. Although a little dissatisfied with having to replace a graphic card 3 years 10 months into the most expensive computer I have ever owned, it was well worth the time and money saved from having to drive to Orlando. I would highly recommend Visual Dynamics to a friend.
Jay at Visual Dynamics at Eau Gallie was both professional and educational - he walked me through the steps of what possibly could be wrong with my iMac and explained it every step of the way. They saved me tons of money and frustration and explained in simple terms what my options were. Its refreshing when computer professionals can communicate to non-tech people (like me) in a straightforward, polite manner - not condescending or tech snobbish at all! I would highly recommend them to any Apple owner.
The employees are very knowledgeable and fixed my iPad in minutes. They are friendly and the store was very neat and clean.I had not been to Visual Dynamics previously and now I will tell all my friends.
These guys are great! They fixed my iMac and plan to bring it again sometime soon for an upgrade. Thanks Vis!
Very helpful and professional. Nice selection of new items in store for purchase. Nice that they offer priority repair service as well.
The staff is amazing so helpful mainly I should mention the name of ROD hes so cool... and patience Ive visited the store 6 times for having the same trouble again and again he is the one who took care of it and finally cleared it off.... I should thank him for it...
Jeff, from Visual Dynamics is a FANTASTIC teacher. I have taken more than 10 classes from him over the past few years. His incredible knowledge and expertise is outstanding. I highly recommend Visual Dynamics.
Great place to come and fix an apple device! very fast ad efficient!
I went to Visual Dynamics and found them to be professional. I was also satisfied with the work they did. I plan on returning should a need arise.
These people know what theyre doing. They helped me after I bought an iPhone from eBay (mistake) to figure out why phone couldnt be activated. Also helped my husband when he forgot his iPhone password. The only place Ill be taking my iPhone from now on!
Brittnee is SO helpful. Every time I come in, she tries her very best to provide a solution and answer all of my crazy questions. THANKS BRITNEE.
Saturday brought in my mac pro for diagnostics entering the store I was greeted by Britney Rooney noticing I had a cast on my ankle she came around and offered me a chair. Doing a tabletop analysis Britney couldnt get the CPU to turn on it was turned over to the lab in the following Monday I got a call from lead technician Dan Maloney. Dan had explained to me that the mother board failed, the computer was so old that they didnt make motherboards for that model anymore, We would have to use a third-party. Explain to me in detail the ones that was replaced it could be other issues. With the help of Dan he put everything on the hard drive onto my iPad . Thank you Dan for being personal and knowledgeable and very helpful what a great experience and thank you Britney for your compassion. Gary do you thank you Dan for being personal and knowledgeable and very helpful what a great experience and thank you Britney for your compassion. Gary G
I received a replacement iphone plus and after a couple of months the camera malfunctioned and the touchscreen became unresponsive occasionally. Last week I spoke to apple and was instructed to bring the phone in and give them a case number so I can have the phone replaced. Visual Dynamics dismissed the case number and argued with me about possible solutions. Finnaly they agreed to have the device replaced. A few days later they called and explained that they can ship it out, and I explained that this was already established through apple with the case number I provided. They than informed me that it will be several more days with out a phone after they sat on it and did nothing already. I instructed them to replace the camera and I would see to it that the other issue was handled. They supplied me with a loaner phone, did not activate it and my carrier was unable to activate it as well. Today I picked up my device and the battery was dead so I brought it home to charge and reactivate. After I plugged it in I found that the touch screen is now completely unresponsive and they damaged the product further. I plan to take the device back tomorrow and let them know how awful their service truly is. This is not the first issue I have had left unresolved. I have decided that I am done with apple and I will not purchase another product from them again due to their lack of customer satisfaction.
They were extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They facilitated our communication with Apple for a claim through AppleCare and we were very pleased!
If you to Apple support, it shows visual dynamics as an designated Apple repair store. It makes you make an appt for a battery replacement. After reading the reviews the owner comes off as very snarky to another reviewer, they don’t make appts from third party companies. But at the top of this page it tells you to make an appt. for battery replacement. Then they say it’s a two step process, they have to order a battery? Why not have them in stock? There must be some reason through Apple they are not allowed to stock them or they are just very stupid. So you have to come back to finish the repair? That’s okay, I’ll just run to Orlando or palm beach at a real Apple store and get it fixed at once and not deal with the bazzaro world and drama from the owner of this place.
Gave them a call to see if they had Mac OX 10.6 Snow Leopard, they have it. Problem is they want $49, which since it is online for $19, this is tantatmount to extortion. I would have been willing to pay $25. I guess if you have to have it now, and have money to waste, go for it. Not for me though.
I have done business with them on many Macs for at least 20 years. They are VERY helpful and profressional!
Great place and excellent staff. Took care of my small issue immediately.
They gave me a loaner phone that already had physical damage and when the phone screen cracked in the corner due to over heating, they accused me of dropping the phone, when I had the case on the whole time. Making me pay $115 to fix it. They shouldnt be giving out previously damaged phones, or phones with overheating issues. I plan to complain more to Apple, I am 7 months pregnant and cannot believe I have to go through such crap. If I had known this would happen, I wouldve just driven to Orlando to get my phone fixed. No pleased.
Didn’t look at me the whole time I was talking to them. Just stared at their computers.
Took my iMac in for repair at Visual Dynamics and got it back in worse condition. Took it in again to have it completely ruined. I then hired an independent repair person who couldnt even retrieve anything off the hard drive. I then purchased a MacBook Air. I recently started having the same problem as with my MacBook Air so I took it to Connecting Point on Hwy 1 near Eau Gallie. They got my computer back to me in perfect condition in 2 days. What a difference in customer service, too. I had been in there a few times for questions about my computer and they were always happy to help even though I didnt buy anything from them. Visual Dynamics - NO STARS
Hottie alert!! Great prices and a total babe works there!!Stellar service!
Courteous and knowledgeable support. Highly recommend.
Always friendly and helpful staff.
I would never go there again and I am not sure why Apple has them as an authorized repair shop. After waiting for a week for an appointment for a replacement battery for my iPhone 6, I showed up at the store and was told that they would just ‘collect’ my information (and my money of course!) and would order it which would take another 2 weeks. And oh yes, they have a $20 installation charge which makes the price of the discounted $29 battery about the same as you can get at other stores. Avoid them like the plague!!!
They have helpful people that help you
Been with them for years, very pleased with their service!
Friendly staff. Not the biggest store but you can get the most recent Apple products and they can special order what you want if they don’t carry it.
Service was perfect..thanks again
Competent service for apple products
Very knowledgeable and helpful
Genuinely tried to help us
