I highly recommend Dr. Mack and his amazing staff for your eye care. Our family had an emergency situation a few years ago while my parents were visiting for the holidays. My mom had a tiny piece of debris that somehow made its way into her eye. In a matter of minutes her situation went from irritating to extremely painful. Dr. Mack took time out of his busy schedule to fit her in and give her the care she needed. I recently returned to Dr. Mack for an eye exam and a much needed change in prescription lenses. Dr. Mack and his staff took great safety measures with their Covid protocols, they were thorough in all of their testing and took time to answer all of my questions and concerns. 5 stars from our family.

Premier Family is truly the best! Everyone in there is so friendly, helpful and genuine. Dr. Young is the best eye doctor ever and cares so much for her patients. My entire family sees her and I wouldn’t dare change doctors or offices! The glasses selection is fairly large and I’m always able to find something I love. When I first got contacts they were so kind and helpful in taking the time to teach me all about contacts and how to put them in and take them out. The office is always clean and they are doing a great job with all things related to covid. It’s always a nice and relaxing experience every time I go! The turn around for glasses and contacts is quick too. This is truly the best it gets!! Thank you girls for being such a wonderful bunch!!!

Being new in the Indian Trail area from MD I was in need for an optometrist. In my search I found Premier Family Eye Care. I met with Dr. Danny Mack. I thought he was very nice and had great bedside manners. I did not feel rushed as he took the time to explained thoroughly what my eye needs are. In addition, the staff was great! Tracy, who assisted me in choosing new glass frames was most patient with me. I feel very comfortable with continuing all future eye needs with Premier Family Eye Care.

They accept most insurance plans and do a fantastic job making sure that my insurance coverage is used to its fullest potential. Shes always very patient with me, letting me do trial runs with different contact lenses until I find the perfect solution. Shes wonderful with my daughters, my husband and my mother as well. My family has been going to Dr. Young for years. She has a wonderfully cheerful and positive chair-side manner. She caught a potential problem in my husband’s eye that other eye doctors have neglected. Every diagnosis, treatment and care plan is detailed and deconstructed for simple understanding. Yes, money is made from sale of glasses, bills have to be paid, BUT nothing is pushed or forced or connived. The eye exams are not rushed - expect to be in the office for no less than 1 -1/2 hours. AND expect a thorough exam and evaluation. Clean, welcoming office with pleasant staff and broad selection of eyeglass frames.

What an amazing group of people! I had been having some issues with my vision and truly thought I was going blind. I called 5 different places in the local Monroe/Indian Trail area & was unable to get an appointment - even turned away from an optometrist. I called Premier Family Eye Care requesting an emergency appointment & was told to come in 1st thing the next morning. Not only was the staff warm & welcoming, Dr. Mack was accommodating to my concern and overreacting. After a series of tests he let me know I wasn’t going blind just had a drastic change in my prescription. Needless to say I found my home!

Dr. Mac is a class act and highly recommended. As for the ladies that assist with glasses, now thats a whole different story! Do yourself a favor and walk out with your prescription and avoid their incredibly overpriced lenses and frames. The lack of genuine care by the woman with blonde hair was appalling. I felt sorry for the way she spoke to the elderly man she was assisting, and the fact she gossiped about him after was terrible, and, potentially a HIPAA violation.
