After using this place for my auto purchases and its services, I will NEVER return to this place! Over the weekend after experiencing a frightful moment while driving, my kids and I ended up stranded alongside the interstate and all as a cause of the shoddy mechanics who work at this service shop, who improperly completed my oil change 3 months ago by not ensuring that the drain plug was securely and properly tighten.As a result, I ended up with my car covered in engine oil, a $600 bill for towing, and the service needed to fix their trashy work.

Not only was this my first time buying a brand new car, but I actually got into a car accident and my car was totaled last week. I was incredibly stressed out, but Jesse Bailey made my experience so great. Not only did I find the exact car I wanted, but as a first time buyer he made everything very easy for me. I never felt pressured and I felt very confident knowing that he wouldn’t just try to sell me anything. I ended up leaving with a brand new 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport! Quick, Easy, Great Customer Service! I was looking to trade in my lease and begin a new one with Honda. I worked with Reggie Ervin, who got me a new lease at a lower monthly price within 24 hours. Reggie was great help and had phenomenal customer service. When signing my lease, I worked with Matt Patterson who was also extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. Matt explained all of the options regarding further packages to add to my lease and never once pressured me into anything I did not want. Recently I have been looking for a Blue Honda Civic and it hasn’t been easy. Let me test drive a different color because the one I wanted is in the shop with a small fix. He was amazing from the jump. I will never buy a vehicle from Ed Martin again. The first time I need service, I was told I had to wait 12 days. My entire dashboard lit up flashing warning signals and I had no idea what to do. I called them in a panic and was told they can’t even look at it for 12 days. I asked them what I was supposed to do. I was told I don’t know what to tell you, we are busy. He didn’t even try to help or assist in any way. My car has 27,000 miles on it and I am suppose to be happy with that! I called another dealership and was helped in a very professional and friendly manner. They also were booked out on repairs, but offered to help. My vehicle was repaired and I was very thankful for their help going over and beyond. It can be done if you want to make the customer happy and work with them. The service department was terrible and could care less.

I I am really upset with this place I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time they called me They had to look at my car and they could not find out what was wrong with it but I paid him the money anyway and then it still kept doing exactly what I told him it was doing so I brought it back to him again in six months later they tell me oh we figured out what was wrong with it and we’re gonna charge you $300 this time and will need to keep it just one more day and will have it ready for you tomorrow afternoon I said OK that’s great I can live with that I’m just glad you found out what was wrong with it. I still took it didn’t get upset I was glad they finally found out what was wrong with it and what’s the least get my car back the next day so no one calls me today so I finally called him 10 minutes after two and the lady tells me they’ve already left for the day no one told me anything about someone coming to get in the car and I don’t have any keys for you sorry so that means after everything is done I didn’t have the courtesy to at least call me and tell me they were going to have to keep my car longer they just assume that I don’t need my car today after they told me it would be done today and that they would call me so here I am with no vehicle no way to work I can’t believe that this is how they treat people I am really upset and after I pay them and get my car back I will not go back there ever again

So I don’t usually review dealerships, but my experience at EM Honda was pleasantly surprising. Took my 2013 Honda Fit to get a new TPMS sensor and for an oil change. They also informed me that my axle needed to be replaced as part of a Honda recall, so they did that on the spot as well. But overall the technician guy I had was super informative, communicated well and explained everything patiently. I’m sure this is the dealership policy, but I also noticed that ever tech came out to the waiting area to give updates to each car owner like it was a freakin emergency room and I just really appreciated that and it instilled trust in a way that I haven’t always gotten with mechanics in the past. Also, got a free car wash so that was dope.

Showed up to look at a vehicle. Which was reasonably priced. The car was great. However they valued my trade in(slightly lower than what i wanted) ok no problem we can take the trade out and ill just buy the car. However the guy didnt offer me to come in or sit down. He just quickly rushed in to his sales manager to get a trade value. And told me we wouldnt be able to work out a deal becausethe trade was off. I was about to pay cash for the car by itself. but the sales manager and the salesman Chad, both seemed very eager to get me off the lot. Very poor sales and customer service.Recommendation from someone who has been in the business. Sit your customer down and before they leave even if they have ZERO intentions of buying a car that day(which I would have) get your manager off his butt from behind the desk and do a T.O. or even make your customers feel somewhat welcome

While traveling through Indianapolis from TN our cars Transmission System Failure light came on. We searched for Honda dealers near us. Praise the Lord, we found Ed Martin! They diagnosed our problem, and let us know if wouldnt be a quick fix. They graciously loaned us a new car so we could continue our trip. We picked up our fixed car on the way home. I recently bought a CPO 2018 Accord from this dealer, and realized after a couple hundred miles of driving that the air conditioning is not cooling off. I will take the car to another honda dealer tomorrow and learn what is wrong with it. Their 182 point inspection is apparently a joke.

Update - was able to speak to General Manager and he was a bit more reasonable so updating rating. High price was because of all the work they had to put into the car, but that doesnt change market value.Used car priced almost 2k over KBB, NADA and Gargurus value. Been on lot for over 30 days and wont negotiate at all. Tell me it is listed at market value, not if every car valuation site shows you are way off. Just tell me they have had a lot of inquiries about it, but still isnt sold? Wonder why.

Let me just say that, Jerry Uwotah, is one of the best Sales guys Ive ever talked with. I got a 2019 Honda Accord and let me tell you I was there for the second time that day for about 2 hours to get it because he definitely went all out to make sure I knew about the car, he is very informative and made sure I had a great experience buying a car. Jerry is great to work with - no games, no hassle, and a great car buying experience. I had been searching for a specific car for some time when I finally came across my dream car at Ed Martin Honda. It wasn’t maybe an hour after I submitted a price request for the car that I received an email from Chad Thomas with their pricing. I was interested in trading in my car, but I lived 6.5 hours away so I instead sent several pictures to see if I could get an estimated trade in value and Chad was quick to get those looked at and quote back to me within the same day. I had some questions about financing as well that he responded to very quickly and, even though I ended up getting a loan through my bank, Chad and Dawn were very responsive and helpful in getting the information that I needed to complete my loan process. Chad actually ended up being on vacation while finishing everything up, but still was very helpful in getting me to the right person to get the help I needed.I was beyond satisfied when I arrived and could not have asked for a better experience. I bought a 2018 vehicle and when I arrived the stickers were still on the car, there was only 10 miles on it, and it was running! It sounds a little crazy to buy a car you’ve never seen, but that is how comfortable I was when working with Ed Martin and it was even better when I was there. Chad first let me test drive the car and proceeded to give my husband and I a run down on all of the features and a tutorial on how everything worked. He then got me over to Jason to fill out the paperwork who was very polite and thorough. At no point did I never feel pressured nor were there any surprises. The price of the vehicle was exactly what Chad had told me initially. I also received exactly the amount they had valued my car through the pictures and, while I was signing paperwork, they had taken my plate off of my old car and had my new car running again. Dawn also made a point to say hello while signing paperwork, which I appreciated so that I could thank her!Overall, I could not have had a better experience and am so pleased that I worked with Ed Martin Honda.

Having once been very happy with Ed Martin Honda, I am saddened over the last couple of years,that I am not so much anymore. At that point I had purchased several cars from Ed Martin and was looking to purchase another. But because they didn’t have my color I was to be charged $300 relocation fee. (By a salesman I had purchased from before)Being taken a back I decided to take my business to another Honda dealership where I could save my $300 and get the color I wanted.That was my beef with the sales department. Since then I have bought yet another car, not from Ed Martin, but decided the service department there could still be used. But when I called to have service done for a recall, the service rep did not seem interested in helping, it would seem to me that the service department was not seeking further business either. Probably because it was warranty work.Having purchased three cars from Ed Martin to end up treated like Yesterdays news it was OK for him I guess, hopefully he can read this and know he’s lost two other sales so far and future service as well, does me good.

Very poor experience. Made appointment to buy a vehicle. Confirmed twice by Orlando and someone named Gina. Drove from another city to this location. The salesman sold the vehicle while I was in route and failed to contact me through a call or text. Wasted 6 hours of driving. Very unprofessional. I would look elsewhere. We took my wife’s car in for an alignment and a few other small repairs. I took an entire day off work to wait on the vehicle to be repaired. They called and said it was going to take longer than expected. I took the next day off work also, a Saturday which I would have gotten paid overtime for that day. I waited and waited on their call. I called them 30 minutes before they closed. They informed me that the car had been finished the day before and they were not sure how the mix up happened. I was upset but I know stuff happens. Fast forward 2 weeks. My wife said that her car was driving funny and making noises. We took it to my normal mechanic (not a dealership). He found 3 lug nuts missing on the passenger front tire. My wife drives 30 miles one way on the highway with our 3 year old son on days she works. So this was a huge safety concern for me. I called them and expressed my concern and ask that they reimburse me for the cost I incurred. Which was only $50. They said they were sorry and that they too were concerned. They said it was their top priority to get it resolved. He said he would talk to the manager and get back with me right away. It took them 3 days to finally call me back to say they could only resolve the issue if I provided them with an original receipt for the work that was performed. I provided that to get my $ but I will never get work done there again. I will drive the extra 30 mins away to go to any other Honda dealer.

Drove 7 hrs one way from out of state to check out a car here. Got there and and they wouldnt budge even $100 on the car I wanted so I bit the bullet and paid their asking price. All I asked for in return was for a Honda baseball cap to be sent to me. You think that happened, of course not! I spent well over $20K on a used car at Ed Martin and they couldnt even follow through on a cheap baseball cap! Itll be their loss in the end as I trade off every 2 years and next time it wont be at Ed Martin!!!

Spoke with Steve in service to figure out why our 2019 Honda Civic SI had an oil leak. We purchased the car brand new, & having a oil leak is something I wanted taken care of. Dropped off our SI last night 10/07/20, for appointment this morning at 7am. The leak was from the crankshaft, the repairs were made, & Steve called, advised me it was ready for pickup today 10/08/20. Great work, thank you for getting issue fix & resolved promptly!

Hondas are decent but when they start breaking down they cost you an arm & leg. What you pay in repairs you could buy a whole new vehicle. Dealerships will do you no favors either.

When I needed my car fixed at a critical moment, Jim, Kyle, and the Ed Martin Honda team went above and beyond to help me. On the morning of a cross country move, with everything packed and ready to go, I started my Honda Accord and to my surprise I saw multiple warning indicator lights present on my dashboard that wouldnt go away. Unfortunately I needed to go on a 800-mile road trip that morning, so I was in a real jam. I called up the only Honda dealership open in Indy at that time in the morning, which happened to be Ed Martin Honda. I spoke to Jim on the phone, and he went out of his way to make sure my car got looked at first thing when they opened that day. Kyle at the service center also was very respectful of the urgency of the situation for me and ensured that my car was fixed quickly. They discovered some major problems with my brakes that could have been catastrophic for my girlfriend and I on our long drive that day. Jim, Kyle, and the service team at Ed Martin Honda made sure I was able to complete my trip safely and on time. I am very grateful to the team there.
