9/2021 Experience was good. It wasn’t the best. No complaints really. The set up of the store seems off. All product is by the door but the cashiers are in the back. Restrooms were semi clean. There was a guy there cleaning up and making sure everything was good in the deli area. But he wasn’t really paying attention to the customers. Overall experience wasn’t bad. Just stopped to get diesel and shower. Some of the shelves were a little empty. Some areas did need a little attention. Other than that, I guess it was ok.

Security needs to be FIRED! And better enforcement hired. Im a truck driver so Flying J and Pilots are my #1 stops. Even in my personal vehicles. This one by far was good on my first day I came through the security guy was very nice about asking me was I reserved and definitely took care of business. Today on the other hand I arrived a little after 8:30pm was told security would be here shortly to handle reserve parking. I had enough time on my clock to wait (initially)...Sat for 2- 3 hours to get into a reserve parking spot. Watched Owen (Security) ride around the parking lot for 2 hours without even acknowledging that I was sitting RIGHT IN FRONT of the building watching him knocking on every door that wasnt behind me in a reserve spot. When confronted he argued with me instead of apologizing for the mistake. On top of that one of the store employees (KATIE) also argued with me instead of reasoning with me about the issue. Mind you she just walked into the door and knew nothing before hand. Wanted to argue with me while being very unprofessional and not clocked in running a register checking out guests. Handling food but did not even bother to wash her hands nor have on gloves to cover her hands before touching the customers food. But was quick to argue with me about something she had no information on. This is by far ONE OF THE WORST! Definitely on my never visit again list and wont recommend anyone to park at this location!! Wish I could give a negative 1

Ive been in pilot/flying Js all across two countries, I can confidently say that the bathroom in this station was the dirtiest one I have seen. Most stalls didnt have toilet paper. When I talk to management they apologize but really werent interested in doing anything. And for the toilet paper they said they were out. Great planning

One of the most disgusting Flying Js out there in my opinion. Its dirty, disgusting, and garbage piling up everywhere. The store is filthy inside, I was going to buy something to eat but after seeing the condition of all the steam tables and coffee machines and condiment area I changed my mind. 95% of the trucks here are local drivers that park and go home and they park wherever they want. The only reliable way to get a parking spot is to reserve one. Where is the manager and district manager with this?! How are they ok with this?!

The lady that is in charge of the coffee area dont have half of the things that use to be available out. because she dont like to clean. And she is always in a bad mood. She tries to appear that she keeps that area clean, but, thats easy when she is focused all day on the same spot and keeps everything away from people so there is no possibility anyone can make a mess..

This place hasnt always been this screwed up, but my God fix or replace your pump computer systems.

In the area in our RV desperately needing propane. I called ahead (we had been to three other places, the first having been prearranged - with no luck and it was getting dark). Fortunately, I spoke to Britney and even though she was terribly busy serving other customers, she was courteous, VERY helpful and went out of her way to make sure we would not only get propane upon arrival but other amenities they offered. She even came out to personally make sure we knew where to go and were taken care of. Great customer service!!! Thanks Britney and Flying J!!!!

How is it that your supposed to be a safe haven not just for trucks but for people traveling that are tired but you have security tell use we cant sleep here isnt that y they are therefore to make sure were safe and not driveing tired. I will never come here again. Heck I was going to get gas and food but I am not wasting my money here. Its bull

If I could give zero stars for customer service I would.Set for almost two hours waiting on security to make people move out of reserved parking.People inside would not help other than saying the manager is going to be out there in a minute and security will be there at 9.I’ve been coming here for a decade now and have spent thousands of my own money here but will not be back if I’m treated like this again.If I had to guess they all are probably WOKE!

So, Im a truck driver and spend ALOT of time in truck stops, way more than I want. This place takes little pride in their facility. Paper towel dispensers empty, toilet paper dispensers empty and trash containers over flowing. I ask one boy, who works here, who had just left a stall, if he had told anyone that there was no toilet paper in it. He confessed he had no idea.Anyway, one star because thats as low as I can go.

My favorite flying J in the lower 48. Showers are great, and have plenty of hot water. I bought pizza here and the slices were actually very thick compared to any other flying J I have ever been to. The gals working there are the most friendly and outgoing I have ever met. Leaves you walking out with a smile.Lots of bobtail parking out front which is great so trucks with trailers can have more parking. Probably 20 Bobtail spots out front. Parking fills up quick so best to get in early or reserve a parking spot.

This truck stop is the first time I have done laundry and chosen which machine to use based on how gross it was. The laundry room really needs attention. It is not clean. The parking lot is also as dark as a cornfield at midnight. there seem to be lights on poles, but they are not working. Ive read a few other reviews where they say they dont care about security or safety, it seems to still be true.

There is absolutely no reason that every pilot should not be like this one.Theyve got plenty of food to choose from 2 and 3 trucker lounges all new washers and dryers every shower is a handicap shower with tons of Room. You can sit and watch TVs in the front 3 TVs in the lounge or watch TV while youre doing your laundry. Why tell me why cant they all be like this one. It is directly off the highway and Across the street from the freightliner dealership. Parking does get full unfortunately probably because it is a good pilot but even a one month old rookie can back into these spots.

Most Friendly staff Ive ran into Midwest Running. Excellent food choices, good fuel prices, & sure enough fresh hot coffee, or good cold drinks. Your choice. ! Clean restrooms,, hot clean shower services. A+ guys & gals. ;) ❤

No showers at night, bathrooms are atrocious, no toilet paper, trash overflowing. This is by far the worst flying j ever, maybe they should just close.

Worst place Ive ever been too n it will be my last. They have no concern of safety priority and lack of parking reserve displayed in the parking lot which they will force you to move which breakout 10hours sleeping time which respectfully well earned it after 11hours driving time. You want safest and best possible way to avoid getting accidents and sleepy on the highways, this is a place to avoid due to no safety or concern from their services. Very unprofessional and disturbing manner which I do not condone. Unacceptable!

This store looked clean but there really is no point if the shelves are 3/4 empty. Seriously your cooler was entirely wiped out on at least 6 doors. So either someone was too lazy to stock your cooler or someone cannot order properly. Between this and the insane wait at Arbys ill never visit this stop again. Disappointing for a flying j.

One of the nicest pilots around. The staff is friendly and store is well kept. All of the showers are handicap accessible and clean. The arbys is always my favorite fast food at the truck stop so that is also a plus. Only wish is for more parking and more bobtail parking, the lots is always busy.

Cool store but if you dont have food in your truck you will starve. They have Arbys but the computer seems to be down and stop serving early. The pilot food is very dry chicken and everything they have looks not for human consumption.

Truck stop with arbys and laundry with $12 showers.You may want to go inside and make sure you can take a shower the last couple months them and pilot have been not letting anyone use the showers. Never use to be an issue, seems to be something all the time. The people that work here are not very friendly at least not at night.

Who ever heard of a truck stop,a 24-hour chain truck stop that doesnt have food on 24 hours a day,? There was literally nothing and Arbys wasnt open. In case you guys didnt know, were not bankers.

I frequent this location, I sent an email about the security making bobtail trucks move their trucks when they parked off to the side and were in their sleeper berth. I did NOT however get a response from anyone at this location nor from the parent company branding this store or any other person in charge of operating the customer complaints....There are several areas around this property that can accommodate bobtail parking overnight, however, because they only want truckers money and dont really care about safety or security they have done the following in response to my letter of concern to them and my threats to contact DOT and report their behaviors.They have now freshly painted several curb areas as a fire lane, even though they really would not be considered or used as such, with a new bright red line and the words fire lane and have installed new signs that state no parking of bobtail trucks in multiple areas.So in my attempt to help stave off some of the power hungry security company activities it is apparent that they would just rather completely avoid the conversation or make any corrections to peoples actions, the trucks were not obstructing traffic flow or restricting access to the entrances or exits, drivers simply needed somewhere they felt was safe to park to get some rest.So I apologize to the truckers for whom I have made things worse because now there are even fewer free parking spots for bobtail and several bobtail trucks now are taking up the free full truck spots.However, to you money hungry price gouging self righteous idiots that own and screw over every last trucker that comes into your truck stops because it the only place they can get to that has parking for a big truck.Your greedy over pricing and outright disrespectful attitudes for us drivers has earned every word of this review.Everything about this place is horrible, the mens restrooms are not maintained, you close down the food service areas which are less than desirable anyway and way overpriced. $13 for 2 small pieces of meatloaf and about a 1/4cup of mashed potatoes and 1/4cup of corn really come on.... your food isnt that good....Face masks $10 for 3 paper blue and white... probably cost you 10cents to get because their from China.Parking spaces that are paid $15/24hrs, while the price isnt bad for the 24hrs, the fact that once a spot is sold regardless of the time of day it is held for only that truck for 24hrs, even though there are empty spots, because the computer says you dont have any trucks end up leaving and you gain nothing at all, because if I cant park there Im damn sure not buying anything else.Your ignorant benevolence and sheer audacity to ignore how you are treating truckers is a direct reflection of what is truly important, not safety and security and providing drivers a decent place to get the things they need its about how much profit you are making off of the smallest amount of sustenance you have to provide so people can survive.So I thank you for your addressing the issues I brought up., however, I am actively sharing the information I have from speaking with your employees. I know many truckers and as the word spreads, so begins the downfall of enterprise debauchery and greed.Trust me, when I share my experiences people listen, and many times once a business has passed me off, they fail to recover.So my suggestion to you is start running your truck stop like the truckers actually are important instead just another way to get a dollar, because we work 10x harder for our dollar that we end up spending than you do prying it out of our blistered, callused and bleeding pocket books.I will no longer buy food, fuel, parking or showers from any of your locations.And as a company with over 250 trucks, we have deauthorized your locations for our fuel cards, you will not be getting a dime from us or any of our drivers. So I hope your experiences and foolish greed gains you more loss than gain in the very near future.You reap what you sow! Stay Safe wear a MASK!

Coffee bar is fabulous! Clean and sparkling! Great job! What a contrast to the filthy Arbys beside it. Womens restroom was pretty messy and no soap in one dispenser. The lady in the coffee area was so friendly...she made my day!

A great set up for RV travel. There is a designated area to get gas if you do not want to use the semi lanes. They also have an rv dumping station for a small fee.

Girthy woman at the register charged me for an entire grill item when all I did was get a squirt of chilli from the dispenser in a container for my truck food. Aside from the other things I bought Wow.Also wayyy too many reserves spots that are foreever away from the store robbing people.

Carla Dawn and Veronica nailed it this evening with excellent customer service and the showerss were spotless we cant wait to come back and see them so come on down to the Flying J and see them. They deserve some sort of for picking up day shifts slack cleaning those showers. I always leave some sort of tip for the cleanong service.

Everytime i come here there is always a reason they can not pump propane. So i drive to flying j in whiteland. Todayi was told they can not pump propane because the snow was freezing the propane. I have delivered propane in sub zero temps in wyoming no problems. Its funny every place but them can pump propane. Bunch of lazy workers. Homeless people everywhere lot lizards comming up to trucks trash everywhere. Night manager is a douche. Will start going to another location.

Me and 3 other guys stopped here after the Hoosier 100 race at the Indy Fairgrounds. it was about 11:00pm and we were looking for some food before our drive home. The surrounding restaurants were closed but we saw an Arbys attached at the Flying J. Sadly, we were informed that no one showed up to work at the Arbys that night. The gentleman working the front counter told us he could cook us a pizza in about 5 minutes. He cooked us a pizza and also another couple that was behind us. Hats off to that dude. I didnt catch his name, but hes awesome!

No coffee creamer or milk. They were cleaning the coffee machines at 6am when everyone was trying to get coffee. Every employee was rude as hell. I will not be coming back here and I will tell my fleet to not do business at this location.

Very rude, I asked her for breakfast burrito that’s advertised on front door to be Ridley told that they don’t make those anymore and that they ain’t had em for weeks. Why advertise something you don’t sell ? Let’s get it together flying J

It is 9:45 pm and Arbys is closed. They close at 11pm So try to get pizza they are out. Flying J employee said she thinks Arbys was closed because they are out of roast beef. Ok but they have chicken right. What a joke. Im a driver going to bed without dinner. Well ok. I spend 45k a year on fuel with this outfit. Well I guess Im moving over to loves TA Petro and ma and pops for my business. Swing and struck out for good with me. Thanks for taking care of the drivers.

Auto shut off on pumps dont work. Despite telling the manager many times over a year, they literally have zero interest in fixing them.Store manager has lied to me twice now over trivial stuff. This has wasted over an hour of my time for no reason. Too much to type, but I assure you that Im a very patient and friendly customer.Go literally anywhere else

Lady in the coffee area did NOT have the coffee pots marked that they were being clean. So I about got a nice cup of cleaner. Also she wasnt about to speak to this white girl to let me know it was cleaner.

We talked with her, and she said the last five parking spots furthest from the fuel bays, which we were parked in, were indeed NOT reserved parking and she would talk to the manager about it.Extremely rude staff. Reserved parking was not clearly marked except for a couple signs that werent placed anywhere in particular. After already sitting at our spot for over 6 hours, a woman came out and told us that we were in the reserved parking and either needed to pay or move. My co driver stated that there had been no signs out stating otherwise. Her response? Well people move them. So he went into to pay, and the cashier working, a black girl with dreads, started arguing with him, saying that that spot had already been reserved and we needed to move our truck. We could not move until at least midnight, when our e-log reset. She said that it didnt matter, we could still drive down the road to somewhere else. YALL REALLY NEED TO GET BOTH BETTER STAFF WORKING AND SOMEONE OUT CHECKING THE RESERVED PARKING MORE FREQUENTLY, IF ITS REALLY THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU.

Except for the shower room attendant the employees gave the impression that the customers that provide their jobs were a burden. I felt bad for ruining their mornings by buying stuff. Shower guy was awesome though. Super friendly and he did a good job cleaning.The yard itself was cleaner this time than previous visits. Easy parking. Location has a Subway and a Taco Bell. Taco Bell did a good job this visit.

I walked into the truck stop for a shower approximately 6:30pm 07/12/20 no face masks required. After my shower that ended approximately 7:15pm 07/12/20 I was kicked out of the truck stop because face masks were required. This is a joke 🤣. Got bless America

Im always on a good experience of this flying j. The only issue if any would be the parking do you have to get there early if you want your parking space. If youre going to get there late you better reserve a space early. They have an Arbys and space for truckers to sit down and eat and watch TV.

Very nice, clean and nice staff. I really like the open concept of stores like this, also the hot bar. Unfortunately they had equipment issues and couldnt offer eggs for breakfast. It nice to be able to get a real breakfast with sausage eggs bacon ect. Sure beats sandwiches

Lot fills up fast. I got lucky and someone pulled out as I was coming up the back row. Full by 1500 on a Saturday. No restaurant. Arbys is open 24hrs and they have their hot deli items during the day. Clean for the most part. Rebuilt facility after it burned to the ground a couple years ago. Still fairly fresh.

We stayed one night here. Showers were moderately clean, employees were not wearing their masks under their nose or chins. Customers were not socially distancing. The womens bathroom was not clean. Customers were not using provided coffee cups to refill their personal mugs.

My husband and I have been to this PFJ quite a lot these past few months. Each time weve stopped in the place is always clean and supplied well. During the C-19 Crisis that is going on, they are severely short staffed yet continue to work hard and make you feel at home when you enter their facility. If you need something, they try to accommodate you as best as they can. The people that work here should be praised for being there and supporting the truckers and travelers alike, especially now. Thank you Indianapolis PFJ!

Great place & very spacious lot. What a complete difference this rebuilt place is from the old one that burned down. Everything here is much better now. Theres a great Chinese food place (China Garden Restaurant) with amazing food & large portions a few miles away thatll deliver to truckers here. You just gotta meet the delivery guy at the Flying J storefront.. big deal. They just wont deliver directly to your truck. I highly recommend that place. Youll make 2 meals out of 1 because their portions are so huge. Check out their reviews & portion photos. You wont be disappointed.

Easy to see from the loop and the building is new, fresh, clean and well maintained... Lots of great options inside and if your a coffee person this place is a coffee buffet... More choices than most... Very busy place but plenty of room to move around and plenty of amenities... Good help at the desk and plenty of parking for cars and trucks... Even the shower facilities with no wait.... Neat and clean...

Clean facilities staff were personable. The shower was nice clean and larger than the old ones. The store was organized, and clean also. Over all I would come back without hesitation.

This is a great place to get gas. If you are short on gasoline for your vehicle you can stop by this place and get some. Which is a great plan to do so that you dont run out of gas. You can also get Cinnabons here but you will have to go inside for that. While youre inside you could also pick up some coffee or a different beverage. Really the choice is yours no one can make you drink anything specific

Employees are fantastic! Friendly and very helpful. Food is great, showers are big clean and roomy. Bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve seen this far on my trip! Love love love this place!! Oh, and their coffee is liquid crack, FANTASTIC! (Not literally crack obviously) 🙂

Had to reset and do a 34 ..... Doing laundry .... Asked the day manager (male) for the remote control for the TV to listen to it rather than just watch what THEY want you to watch. He claims he has No idea how to work it, and that he doesnt even own a TV at home Well WTF? SO him dismissing me is supposed to be real customer service. .. So now I got the shower man to fix it and hand me the CORRECT remote. Geeze

Employees gossip with each other. Think they can handle long lines, making customers wait not calling for help from coworkers. Store is usually trashed at night. Parking lot is a cluster. Boone will move them except ocassionally maintenance. Called about a driveway by CAT scale being blocked was told they will send someone out. 15 minutes later called again because now there is a idiot behind me who is completely in the driveway. Maintenance guy came out and knocked on 2 bobtails doors, only 1 moved and he went and parked against yellow no parking curb, maintenance guy went back inside. I will not be coming back here and I will be filing a report with corporate. It is the responsibility of store staff to keep guys from parking where they do not belong and move them when they do.Employees look at it like we as drivers need to call the cops to move drivers who are in no parking zones, not in parking spots, parked in or blocking fuel islands, driveways, entrances or exits as well as fire lanes. But truth be told law enforcement will not come do a dang thing because it is private property.

I give this place a one star. How can you have pay parking spots and not even have them clearly marked. Your company has just been going down hill. Your company doesnt even care about the drivers anymore. Then you send some one out to go wake up sleeping drivers. Yea this is why I stopped fueling at your locations because the way you treat the drivers. Im been fueling at your locations for 5 years ever since you started the whole bs with paid parking spots that were horrible marked I stop fueling at your locations.

I am a frequent visitor at Flying Js truck stop. Daily I stop at the deli and I am always greeted a smile. My food is always done to perfection and the display very appealing to the eye. Most of the time Itshard to make a wise choice because all of your food is so delicious. Jennifer is absolutely AMAZING! she really knows her stuff. She is very pleasant to talk too and she always have my order right. She is definitely a great asset to your company.

It was clean only used the rest-room, but I can tell you that the rest-rooms are completely touch free paper towels water toilets ect so if your germ freak good place to #2.🤣

Lots of choices. There is an Arbys in the store. Their service was not good at all. I would give them another chance, but I have other places on that route that I prefer to stop at.

If I could give this store 6 stars I would. The showers were very clean. The outside parking area was clean. Restrooms were clean. Nice size truck stop with all the amenities. Love the soup variety especially since it was extremely cold today. Keep up the good work yall!

Ive been most disappointed in flying j lately not because of service, thats always pretty good they hire the most friendly staff. Its because I pay a premium for there wifi per year but the last 12 months seems like I can only access it most times in the reserved parking. I wont waste my money again after my year is up. Make your premium wifi available to the whole lot please.

Slept the night here parking was good, inside was very clean and nice, staff was friendly bathrooms were clean each time I went.

Some of the best bathrooms around. Huge selection on everything and the integrated Arbys in conjunction with the huge offering of their own food (pizza, chicken, etc) meant I didnt have to make an additional stop along the road. Traveling with a 60 foot truck/trailer means getting in and out of parking lots isnt the easiest.

Nice and polite staff. also they have a really huge parking lot so if all the parking spaces are taken you can create your own spot somewhere, as long as you dont block anyone else in 💯

Waited forever in line, finally walked over to Arbys to order food. As we wree were waiting on our order, I looked up and seen a worker leaning on the counter and eating right where our food was being prepared..... To top it off even more.... She wasnt the only one back there eating. With the virus thing going on Im even more funny about eating out so to say the least I was s quite disgusted!!! As for our be order, it was thrown into the trash.

These places are awesome if you drive anything larger that a car. Plenty of room to maneuver your vehicle. They give you 5 cents off per gallon of gas if you are a Good Sam member. They have a much larger store than typical gas stations. Great place for RVers like myself.

Most Js are a good place for fuel & a cup of coffee.Usually very busy with trucks coming in and out. Just be careful when you pulling out.The very good thing is the coffee is very consistent.Just wish theyd have milk out with the coffee creamers.

It was all rather clean and the lot was easy to navigate but its always full. Best it to just run south and find something there.But the people here make you feel good and they all have a great attitude.

Filled up on diesel. Before the end of the tank my truck stops running.Took it to dealership and they tell me I have gasoline in my tank.Flying J corporate calls me to tell me they havent had and cross drops not their problem. I will not be returning to this location.

Plenty of fueling isles, clean restrooms and this particular Flying J appears very updated with a very 21st century feel to it, providing for an inviting environment. Friendly staff that greets you upon entering and best of all, drum roll please; bean coffee! Did someone say Organic Sumatra?

Parking spaces for truckers are tight. Hopefully there will be enough room for you to open your door and get out of your truck.Plenty of space inside. Nice drivers lounge. Lovely restrooms and showers.CAN use points for laundry! 2 tvs in laundry room.

Very clean, although it has a bad smell when you walk inside. There is a courtesy officer driving around the premises for added safety, especially for the 4 wheelers and the semis parked overnight, so that is nice, you can kind of sleep feeling at ease. Seems like their intercom was constantly saying there were no wait for showers, so that is a plus, I didnt use the showers so cant speak for those. Womens restroom was very clean! There are 3 self checkout registers to speed things up. All in all nice place to fuel up, eat, sleep, and take care of personal hygiene things if need be.

It was early morning, it was dark, and it was COLD. But the fuel island was sparsely populated. In other words, this place was great. In and out in near record time. This place looks so much better than it did before it burnt down. It almost takes my breath away. There still isnt enough parking, though. But then, there never will be. Still, I give Flying J 5 stars for being there when I needed it.

Has a nice drivers lounge and good choice of food to eat. Restrooms maintained clean. People very courteous.

Im local and have not been here for a while . I was just there and very impressed. Cleanest gas station, truck stop i have ever been in. Coffee was the best i have had. Keep it up Indy #4 flying J..your employees deserve a pat on the back for going the extra for your customers.

Overfilled trash cans, with trash spilling into the lot. Youre going to collect about $450 a day just in parking alone, but cant find someone to empty the trash cans
