I have done pottery and glass fusion at Kiln Creations. I love this place! They are so patient and helpful! They are very thorough in explaining the process, but leave you to your own to create whatever! However, if you need help, there they are! I cant wait to go back!

I had a great time at Kiln Creations in Broad Ripple. Theres a large selection of pieces to paint. And theres glass making too!

Nice little house for pottery painting with cozy rooms to paint around 4 person tables. They also have glass fusing thought did not try that out. The pottery selection is smaller than some other places I have been and the prices are a bit high. A lot of the items are $15 or higher most things at or above $20. Not many sub-15 items to choose from so if you want a cheap activity with kids, you might be disappointed. Color selection is good, including some sparkly glazes.

We went to Half Baked Pottery for my sisters Bridal Shower. It was fun and good for all ages. The host, Shelby, was very nice and welcoming but did not take a whole lot of time explaining what we were doing or the best techniques to use. Some extra guidance would have been nice. We did have a good time though and would do it again.

Great fun, easy to put together, place was on the warm side (temperature wise). If sensitive to heat like me, be sure to wear your hair up.

Given the option, this is always my oldest daughter’s first place to go for a special mommy-daughter date.The options for paint-your-own pottery are always changing and diverse. It never feels crowded and we never feel rushed, despite how long my daughter takes to paint her newest masterpiece. We look forward to going back soon!

This company is all about helping the community out in any way possible. They communicated well and provided a kind and friendly environment for all of us.

My daughter and I made glass pendants. It was fun creating our designs. It would have been helpful to have a few more pointers on what the fused pieces would do when heated. Some of the colors did not look how we thought they would. We did enjoy it!

This is one of my favorite places to go, its quaint and cozy, and a great way to spend a rainy day. Helpful staff, that dont hover. They answer all your questions with kindness. I love this place. Also one of the best priced pottery spots in Indy, no hidden fees, just a flat rate for the piece your working on.

I am an Early childhood teacher and Kristen had all the materials that were appropriate for my children. She had great patience as she assisted each one encouraging them to paint their crafts more.

Just by chance we walked in to this establishment. Also in such a crowded area they actually have parking right at the front door. There was a lady there as we walked in she assisted us right away we pick out the pieces we want she helped us all through the time you were their. I will definitely be back!

We took my 9 year old twins to Half Baked Pottery for their birthday on a very busy Saturday. The experience was wonderful! We had our own table with so many different pottery options to choose from. They explain the painting/glazing process and we were set to go. We all painted our pottery and then left it for them to bake. I stopped back a week later to pick up our beautiful pottery! We will definitely do this again!

We had our (tame) Bachlorette party start here. The staff was great! We all got to nibble on some food we brought and paint beautiful pottery pieces. The ideas on the walls were so fun to look at! They were great about giving us tips ahead of time so some came prepared with what they wanted to do. The staff was great at helping people with creative ideas and different techniques. We even had our own little room so we did not feel like we were bothering other painters. Picking up the finished pieces was easy and fast too!

They have many pieces that you may chose from to paint for holidays, gifts, or just something that shows the artistic side of you.I took my 4 year old grandson to paint a Halloween or Fall item. He quickly decided on a Ninja turtle which was fine with me. The staff helped set us up by making a couple of suggestions for paint colors and setting up the table with paint brushes; etc. and let us do our thing. Making memories.

Have visited several times to make fused glass pendants. The staff is very helpful and supportive but leave you alone to create during your visit. Making the pendants is such a fun experiences - I have been back with my sisters and mom twice - we all had such a great time. Pottery is in the name of the company but dont overlook the other offerings they have for you to create.

Half Baked Pottery has always supplied our family with fun and excitement! My kids love to go there and take their time to be creative! They are so sweet that they actually let my mom, sister and I stay over after close once to finish our work. I definitely enjoy my time there.

I like that they had a lot of different Pottery to choose from when I was picking something to paint. The employee who was assisting me was very helpful. They also have a lot of different glazes to paint your pottery with and different tools you can use to do different techniques while youre painting not just paint brushes. I had a great experience my first time painting here and would like to go back again.

I have been going to Half Baked Pottery since it was on the main strip of Broad Ripple and I absolutely love it. They have a wide selection of pottery with many different colors to choose from. I love it so much that last year for christmas I made something for almost every family member! Its also very kid friendly and easy to do if its your first time.

I am always critical of my own work and hate everything I make from there but I always have a good experience and the staff are super friendly. It is a quaint little store in Broad Ripple. They have a large variety of items. Sometimes a little pricey depending on the item but I have been back many times with friends.

I arrived not knowing what the new location would have in store. Upon arriving I was delighted to find they had more than the old location on Broadripple Ave. I kicked myself for not venturing to the new location. It had high chairs, they had covered tables that THEY wiped everything clean at the end of the session. The ladies were calm and understanding about kids in the shop and even with four small artists in tow it was like a spa day; the kids were never rushed or hushed. Giggles kept going all afternoon as the rain washed away a perfectly planed picnic and play date at the park, not a single child missed the outdoor adventures. Everything came out looking fantastic after being fired. This is the Mystery Trip for fun loving artists of all ages. Each child picked pieces that cost less than $20 and there were plenty from which to choose.

Nice Pieces But Cramped SpaceMy friends and I really enjoy painting pottery. I like going around the city and trying to find new places for us to go.The first thing I noticed is its a really small space and for as long as we were sitting there the stools became pretty uncomfortable. I cant fault the business for the loud bachelorette party and back but we did get seated at the table closest to that back room. The noise might not have been as bad if we were in a different room. Also the table we were at shook every time someone walked by so weve made sure to stay alert and not be painting when we heard someone walking.There are a lot of nice pieces to choose from and a lot of fun examples of both pottery and glass on the walls. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
