I had a great encounter with a new employee as he was taking my package for me. The environment was VERY hostile though! Someone was training him with an attitude and telling him not to smile at the customers or show any courtesy. He looked very uncomfortable! I felt sorry for him. He was just trying to do his job patiently but the manager was rushing him and making him feel horrible!I like this store but maybe go easy on your workers UPS! There’s nothing wrong with being nice to the customers. We’re just coming and going!

I appreciate that they try to multi task but I would appreciate more if you finalized my transaction before you start waiting on another customer. Ive waited on my turn and every customer should expect to wait on their turn. Otherwise customer service and ease of service is good!

This location is not open during the construction. They say they are open but you text message and no one answers. I paid for parking and stood on the street waiting without a response.

SCAMMERS USING MAILBOXES FROM THIS UPS STORE! BEWARE!!!! I have just received letter to my home from some Labor Poster Compliance mailbox #230 from this UPS Store trying to pass off as government affiliated entity requiring me to pay some outlandish fee or else risk getting fined thousands of dollars.I checked the address on google and found that a lot of people have been receiving scam letters as well from multiple mailboxes from this address 133 W Market St. UPS NEEDS TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS!!!

Had UPS divert a package to deliver to this store instead of delivering to my house. I went during their Saturday business hours and they’re closed. I will never use this store again.

Got here at 3:30 exactly on a Saturday and they wouldn’t even let me just pick up my mail!! Poor customer service!! Busy people have to cut it close sometimes and this is not the first time this location hasn’t been accommodating.And the employee who wouldn’t help me walked out the door at 3:35!

Im not sure of his name but the young man that helped me gets high marks for customer service. I came in indecisive and he patiently explained all options. When I ultimately decided to go to the post office instead, he was very gracious and reversed the transaction we started as he kept the same polite and helpful demeanor. Very good experience.

Yesterday I had to go to UPS to ship 13 lbs worth of paper (!) for my spouse visa application. Destiny was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful! She measured my documents to determine which box would be best, wrapped everything in plastic since its been raining, added bubble wrap for extra protection, and then helped me figure out the return label I had to include with my application. She wrote Return Label! in big red letters so they cant miss it. ;) She made the last part of a long and stressful process so much easier, and it meant the world to both my husband and me. Thank you, Destiny!!

(update: After discussing with Anderson, we decided to raise to two stars because we eventually got the check yesterday after four and half months (since last November.) plus more than 30 calls. Lets say maybe UPS corporate took 2 months, maybe 2.5 months to issue the check to the local UPS store. So, that makes the store still spent 2 months to send a check from the store to our place, where is less than 10 miles away. So, two stars to this UPS store and Kevin. case close )Its the worst UPS ever. or at least the manager for this UPS is terrible. They lost out package, UPS headquarter sent him a check to reimburse us. but the manager kept the check or for whatever reason he doesnt want to send us the check reimbursing our missing package. oh, BTW, UPS headquarter doesnt help at all. over all UPS doesnt help if they loss your shipment good luck to whoever decide to use them after reading this message(Claim first name: Anderson) He is my husband who shipped the package

Theyve gone downhill over the last couple of months. They used to have one guy there that seemed to know what he was doing but I guess hes moved on. If you do go there, pray that you get Jared, the last person who knows how to do the simplest things. The manager Matt doesnt know what hes doing, has to ask his associates for help, which doesnt make sense at all. And he doesnt like to help people, you can tell just by the way he talks to you. And God forbid if the situation goes wrong, because hell blame you like hes not in the wrong. Just the worst person to work customer service... They need to hire more people like the guy they had in there and Jared.

I suggest everyone use FedEx to ship their packages if you actually want them to get to your destination. Ordered a pair of shoes online for Christmas. The sender sends me an email saids they were shipped the 17th and I should receive them in a day or two. Well the day after Christmas comes and I still havent received them. Contacted the sender and he sent me the tracking code, looking that up online I see that my package made it to Indy but instead of delivering it to my door they instead delivered it to their access point, kept it for a day or two and then sent it back to New York. Contacting customer service they said the driver never attempted delivery to my door and instead just delivered it to his access point. Customer service also sucks in general, just use FedEx. Theyll try to charge you again for their mistake.

Lost a $2,000 package they forgot to insure on my behalf. Willing to reimburse me for $45 of it after 5-6 weeks of delay. Net loss from having used UPS= $1,955 (assuming they reimburse me for the shipping, which they are fighting against). Not pleased.

I just had one of the worst customer service experiences here! The lady that was talking to me was not polite and as the number one resolution to the problem tried to blame it on me! I sent out two packages to the exact same location and i got back one of it to home instead of the address I sent it out to. I went back with the tracking numbers and I asked her(btw she was the exact same person who shipped these out two days ago and didnt remember me and made a couple of mistakes and printed it out twice). Anyway, when I went back the first thing she said was 1). your address was probably undelivarable( I sent to this before- also I sent two packages to the same address!!!). 2). I explained it and she was like this is not the same tracking number on the box( of course not coz ups attached a different tracking number and sent it back to me!). 3). I was frustrated and told her its fine and I need it sent and she said she is not comfortable refunding me for this because she doesnt know whose fault this is! Its not mine either!!! 4). She was like I may loose my job and my manager may fire me if I send this out! --- First, I would have expected the rep to atleast look at the tracking number and find out what the status is and why it wasnt shipped to the right address. More than the issue - what I really didnt like was how the rep was responding and trying her best to blame it on me every single time. Finally if I really want she asked me to come back at 11 tomorrow since I may be able to talk to her manager. This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever faced and UPS should better educate their employees to empathize with their customers and atleast explain what was wrong and not try to chuck more money by blaming it on us!!!

For freight forwarding this store is high handed and high priced. Any citizen can get a freight discount through any carrier but they pocket it by charging you 100%. Have them pack it but do your own price estimate at an LTL carrier. Save $hundreds
