Walked in to buy a dryer. I sorely miss the older washing machines and dryers. They were hardy and never broke. I found a very old real Maytag original dryer that was reconditioned. I couldnt be happier with this purchase and the delivery. Jose and partner were wonderfully efficient and pleasant delivery guys. Im returning to appliance Depot in the future without a doubt.

Went in needing three parts for a 20+ year old Whirlpool washing machine. The gentleman located the parts and provided great advice for installing them. This should be your first stop when there is anything needed for appliances, you will be pleasantly surprised!

A really, really great place to get appliance parts online. First, and most importantly I give them a 12/10 for honesty. The part I bought was indicated as new, but damaged. I couldn’t find any damage whatsoever. So whatever standard these guys use, I would say, keep it up. Second, it was the CORRECT part. Not a cross referenced substitute, the same part. Value - the cost was half of what others were offering for “wrong part but will fit, you just can’t use your accessories with it.” The shipping time was great. It was a large item and probably the last of its kind, so I paid extra for expedited shipping. Ordered on May 28, arrived on June 2 (shipped over Memorial Day weekend). You really can’t ask for better.

Absolutely impressed from the moment we ordered our new refrigerator. They told us when we ordered it that we would have it in a week and we did. The delivery team installed the new appliance, great guys, and took the old one away, both no extra charge. It was so refreshing to have a company do exactly what they promised, especially since we are used to businesses overpromising and under delivering. Would definitely use them again.

They carry Goodman furnaces but you cant search by BTU and if you want to see the BTUs of a particular model you need to dig into the specifications. Some dont even show the BTUs in the description or specifications. 👎

Appliance Depot was highly recommended by my service guy to replace our shot front load washer.....A quick call later I purchased a top load Speed Queen washer, super easy....2 days later delivery and install. Exactly what I was looking for, and to top it off they lugged the old washer out free of charge! So glad we didn’t go to Best Buy for their extended Labor Day sale and buy that front load junk! Worth paying a little more for YEARS of dependability and great service!

Love this place. I was having problems with a dishwasher they did NOT sell me. I went in to get a part and whoever helped me talked me thru the process of changing the heating coil. Didnt solve my problem so I went back and so he told me the next step, and this time he gave me the part for free. How awesome is that!! Still didnt solve my problem, so then he told me the next step was to replace control board. He ordered it, and got it to his store in 2 days. The part was $70 cheaper than listed price on the internet. Finally got around to changing the part and now my dishwasher runs like new. I will not go any other place for appliances or parts. They are all helpful and friendly. Thank you Appliance Depot. My wife thanks you since now we have a dishwasher that dries dishes.

Purchased a refurbished refrigerator to replace an upright freezer. The fridge is in really nice condition, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, and they recycled the freezer even though it wasnt an even up exchange for what we bought. (Due to Covid we were not able to buy just a freezer.) Staff was super nice and helpful, met our needs, and delivery was early the next business day. The 6-month warranty also made this a sweet deal.

Wow! Customer service DOES still exist!! Went to Appliance Depot for the first time to buy a replacement Washer. Appliance Depot was recommended to me be the 3rd party repair tech who determined our washer was not worth repairing due to its age and model. Stopped in Appliance Depot just to look around, but ended up buying the brand of washer I wanted (Speed Queen, due to its reputation), on sale, with a 10-year parts/labor warranty. It arrived the NEXT day! Their delivery personnel were friendly, helpful, and did an outstanding job. It is nice to see a family owned business that still cares about their customers. I will only be buying my appliances from Appliance Depot in the future!

Why wouldnt you always shop here first? Family run for 40 years. Hard to imagine a more honest seller. They have new and used - and the expertise to explain why used might be better. Weve saved lots of money on appliances here and have always been satisfied.

We bought a used Whirlpool clothes dryer at Appliance Depot. The service was efficient and no pressure type sales talk. They shrink wrapped the dryer and loaded it on our trailer. I doubt that we spent more than 30 minutes there. I had looked at the most basic dryers at 2 stores prior to going to Appliance Depot. A new dryer would have cost more than two times what we paid at A.D. The dryer works great and it has 6 month warranty. When we might need another appliance, in the future, we will go straight back to Appliance Depot. Check it out!

Excellent customer service. I purchased appliances from here over ten years ago. I’ve just started recently to have a couple of issues with them. Each time I’ve called, Ron has been extremely helpful and has walked me through simple trouble shooting that has saved me a bunch of time and money. Followup message - after almost one year of usually multiple washings per day, the top loading Speed Queen washer I purchased from Appliance Depot is still working perfectly. I like it because it uses plenty of water, I can add clothes after the wash cycle has started, has an extra rinse option, and the clothes come out clean!Four months ago, wife and I wound up at Appliance Depot on Hwy 149 by navigation accident - but it was meant 2b! I was very unhappy with the FOUR different clothes washers that failed my small 3 person family in just 20 years. Appliance depot sold me a top loading heavy duty Speed Queen clothes washer that has worked flawlessly AND USES ENOUGH WATER so everything comes out clean on the first try. We do not feel any vibration like our old washers on the spin cycle - and it spins so fast to get the water out so that the clothes dryer does not have 2 work hard. It cost a little more than the other brands - but I am confident that we will have saved money when a popular/cheaper brand would have failed me.

Stopped in thinking we may need to replace our refrigerator. Jim was so helpful, he helped us diagnose the issue. Turrned out we just needed to replace a small part that he didnt even charge us for. When we need another appliance we will go back there. We have had great service and bought a number of appliances from them over the years. Thanks for your continued great service and expertise!

We have been to Appliance Depot multiple times and we have always received prompt and courteous service. Recently we were simply dropping off 4 old used appliances. Happened to not have a proper amount of cash with me. The owner immediately said “no big deal”, directed us around back, were met by a friendly service man, and they took our stuff with no delay. Great service!!!

I never write reviews. The service I received was so exceptional that I feel compelled to in this case. I had already went to 2 appliance stores, looking for a part for my gas stove. I was told by them it was discontinued and no one sells it anymore. I then tried Appliance Depot, and the woman who helped me was very knowledgeable and looked out for my best interests. It turned out that Appliance Depot did have the part I needed (used), but after inspecting the part I brought in to the store, the woman determined the part just needed to be cleaned! She then spent about 10 minutes cleaning it for me with an air compressor and sent me on my way. I was blown away by the service. My stove worked perfectly after I installed the newly cleaned part. I will definitely be back (even though they are out of my way) and would recommend them to anyone needing appliances or appliance parts.

I don’t typically post reviews but feel the need to after my experience with Appliance Depot this weekend. Long story short, our washer suddenly stopped working and they helped us figure out the issue quickly and saved us a ton of money. The guy we worked with was very knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend them.

I would never buy an appliance anywhere else besides here. This place is a good old family run business that doesnt just sell appliances...they solve problems! My washer quit on a Sunday evening and I knew it had to be something simple, but didnt know what it was. I went in on Monday morning, explained the problem and they offered a solution and walked me through the repair based upon their obvious many years of experience. The washer was running perfectly by noon on Monday! It was indeed an easy fix with a $37 part rather than a new washer! I have bought several appliances there and recycled many too. Simple easy appliance recycling as well! Nice to see that there are still businesses out there that value their customers and want to solve their problems rather than just sell you a new machine just to make their sales goals! Again...would never go anywhere else!

AD is a great place to get service and shop for appliances. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of great deals on used, scratch and dent and new, without the pressure to sell you something. Really is a easy place to shop.

About a year ago we went to Appliance Depot to buy a washing machine to replace our 23 year old machine. Ron was outstanding to work with. Today the 23 year old dryer wouldnt start. I went back to Appliance Depot with an idea of what might be wrong. Jim verified my old door switch was bad and found a used one in his parts bin for me. He could just as well.sold us a new dryer but told me our old unit would still go a while more. When the old dryer finally wears out I will definitely be back to Appliance Depot! Top notch business!

As a DYIer, Appliance Depot is one of the few parts houses in the Twin Cities that is open all day on Saturday. You know, the day homeowners have time to address and fix home appliance issues! Further, they are well stocked with parts and are very knowledgeable. They have saved me so many headaches just by being open Saturday! I brought in for repair a 2-year-old air conditioner that had stopped working - (I couldnt get any help or guidance from the AC manufacturer even after many phone calls. It was only 2 years old, for crying out loud). The Appliance Depot contacted the AC company and kept after them phone call after phone call and eventually the company gave in, and sent me a brand new replacement AC. It was even a upgraded model! Look, I do not share often and I do not think it is fair to companies when someone has a frivolous review. So let me say that I am sure Appliance Depot is a legit family owned business with good customer history, support and they stand behind what the sell. HOWEVER, I do not appreciate the bait and switch they do on craigs list. Every time I call about an item on craigslist has been sold, then take down the add?? They sell NEW, rarely do the have refurbished used appliances and when they put them out for a great price, they are always SOLD.

I have gone there several times for used parts over the years. Every time the part has worked and never gone bad. (7 years and 4 years). I have saved hundreds of dollars. I have recommended them to others. I am now going to get motor for my dryer from them when they are open again on Monday.

After my fairly-new and generally amazing washing machine straight up STOPPED WORKING one afternoon, I called the service number for the manufacturer and they pointed me to Appliance Depot. Not only did a human answer their phone and was very helpful, but the service guy who came out a day later was friendly, remembered my name, and FIXED MY WASHER. In about 10 minutes. He had all the parts he needed with him, clearly knew what he was doing, and made my day. Thanks, Appliance Depot!

I had an antiquated burner for a stove built in the 50s. Appliance Depot was about the only place in the Twin Cities that might have a replacement I was told by several dealers. Sure enough, Ron (one of the owners) went in the back and found a duplicate. He then also tested mine out and surprisingly it was still good. He then explained where the issues may be on why it was not working. Then he showed me a way on how to jerry rig a way to get it to function again. He even gave me a couple pieces of insulated wire to work with. I tried to get him to at least charge me for his time, and he wouldnt do it. He said his business was built based on service, and he was just happy to at least give me a solution to my situation. I will be buying from them in the future. They now have a customer for life.

Had a problem with a timer on our washing machine. Talked to Miranda about replacement or repair. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. She understood the problem and we were able to repair the washing machine with her help. We highly recommend Appliance Depot and will do all of our future appliance business with them.

I was in looking for very hard-to-find parts for particularly puzzling refrigerator behavior. The gentleman (he really was, and not an overly-chivalrous or syrupy one) who was helping me was right, while my inquiries elsewhere left me stumped. They also spent quite a bit of time scouting out parts that probably dont exist, and offered to stick it out with me to find parts that would fit if I brought it in to check. No, they dont run a business that allows for errors, yours if you buy the wrong part or whatever, or theirs. This is a standard I appreciate. Im very, very glad I bought from them, and will be back again.

Went in for advice regarding troubleshooting an old cabin washing machine. Very helpful, no pressure to replace or use their service. GREAT. Did this one other time as well, different machine, same service!

I emailed them about there scratch and dent parts due to the fact this was new to me. I ask about a warranty. The response I got back was Read our return policy, it wasnt very clear. So I waited until the next day and called. I explained to the person on the phone that I was confused and what is the warranty on this particular part. He to told me to read the return, I said obviously we have been corresponding through email. He said do you know what our return policy is. I started to quote what I read and he quickly stated: If its not broke and it works fine and you send it to us we will send it right back to you. Dry, Dry Dry... I thought I will pay the extra this is too risky. I wouldnt buy an ice tray from them. They are rude.

Pathetic and unacceptable! I ordered a fan for my refrigerator and paid extra for expedite shipping. Appliance Depot held my oder for 4 days and now I have to wait for another 4 days to get my shipment. I should have better picked up this from a local store.

A week before Christmas, our Advantium wall ovens main heating element failed. Almost no one had them in stock, and I made the mistake of trying to order one from Sears Parts Direct. They claimed to not only have them in stock, but for a hefty fee get it to me before Christmas. Fast forward to New Years eve. No parts from Sears arrived, instead I got an update that they might be able to ship one in February. (Clearly their inventory system is messed up) I immediately cancelled that order and placed one with Appliance Depot. I assumed since it was New Years eve, it may take a few extra days to process and ship. However, on January 2nd I got my tracking number and the part was on its way. I just finished installing it and the oven is now as good as new. Although I wish Appliance Depot had faster shipping options, their turn-around time was fantastic.

A few months ago i came down to find a used washer motor for a 30/40year old washer. It was a chalenge but you stuck with me to find one and it has /is working well. Thank you so much....

I really appreciate the shop access, that is rare in this day and age. I got to see firsthand the testing and talked about other possible causes and tips about disassembly. When faced with finding a replacement part for our 20 year old cracked Dacor ceramic top electric range we werent very optimistic. We thought for sure in the very best case we could find a brand new replacement cooktop for $500-$1000 but luckily the Appliance Depot website popped up in a google search with a used with cosmetic blemishes replacement for $150.00. Not only did Appliance Depot ship out the part extremely quick via UPS but the condition of the part was PRISTINE. This part couldve easily been passed off as brand new at full price in fact. Great experience highly recommend!

Stopped in to recycle an old wine fridge at the IGH location. Got chatting with a guy about an issue with a microwave that I didnt even buy from them. Guy takes me in back, showes me the piece that is most likely malfunctioning. He then takes the time to explain how to get at the part that most likely needs replacing, says if I bring it in they will find me one if they dont have it. $13 later and a bit of my time, my microwave is working again. Whirlpool quoted me $175 to diagnose the problem before they would start to repair it. Appliance Depot diagnosed it for free AND told me how to do it myself. In my opinion, that is as good as customer service gets.

I needed a part for my dryer, they showed me how to get to it, told me three things to trouble shoot. Went home tore it apart and found the problem. I purchased a USED part at a REDUCED price and when it arrived, it looked -- and worked -- like it was BRAND NEW! I couldnt have been more pleased. :) The main complaint I have with this company is their TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION -- no replies to questions left through voice mail messages, in e-mail messages, or by via their website contact feature -- even when sent multiple times. The only way I received a guaranteed response was by telephone . . . and that was when I wanted to place the order.

Called on Monday about having my A/C unit repaired. Was told to bring in on Thursday and could maybe get it back Monday of the following week. We brought the unit in on Thursday and without even turning around to make eye contact, we were brushed off and told they wouldnt even start looking at it until next week. Dont really understand the point of being told a specific day to bring it in, if its not accurate.

YOU ORDER IT YOU OWN IT! If you are expecting a return on anything you order from Appliance Depot then Good Luck.Upon checkout you will be asked to check a box saying you have read and understood their return policy. Buried in the finerint of the document is language that says you have surrenderd your right for a return. Exchanges will be at their discretion. Worst customer service policy on the internet. Repair clinic is the gold standard for appliance part returns. Dont be fooled - there is a reason their prices look cheap.
