If I could give negative stars I would. My husband and I bought our kitchen appliance suite from this location and to say its been a nightmare is an understatement. Several delayed, delivery issues with no communication from Home Depot or the delivery company they outsource to. Neither company wants to take ownership. Blaming the other for the errors. Six weeks later and we dont even have all of our appliances installed, which is a service I paid for. Only up side is after many, many hours of phone calls and demanding, we got a partial refund on our products. However, I would still never buy from them again because of the hassle and lack of concern on Home Depots part. They didnt seem to care that we went through the trouble we did, but rather to get us to leave them alone. Will never buy from Home Depot again. The worst experience hands down.

The employees at the tool rental in IGH are the best. This is my go to tool rental. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even had them fix a power washer for me. They did a good job.

The West St Paul home Depot is easily the friendliest home depot Ive ever been in throughout the entire twin cities metro area. Usually theyre all very nice this one on the other hand is always incredibly welcoming and friendly in general.

The customer service here has really fallen down hill. Not to mention my pick up order was messed up and instead of having a 5 minute pick up 30 minutes of my time was waisted. It used to my first choice but now I think I need start shopping elsewhere.

The greeters job is to greet, not talk trash about customers when they think they are not listening. Poor staff and poor training. Welcome to home Depot should be the proper way to greet and not try to tell me how to parent or live. We made a quick run to the Inver Grove Heights Home Depot. They had the fence posts in stock that we had been looking for, all over the cities. The staff is always very helpful, and courteous. Were also pondering the purchase of a storage shed, and the Suncast unit they have, and in stock, is actually reasonably priced.

Seems nobody at ANY home depot is willing to help. You have to track them down even though they saw you in the aisle. They leave the area as to hope you didnt see them to ask for assistance. This isnt a one time occurrence, its EVERYTIME I go there. I miss the small local hardware store a block from my home, they always had the personal treatment. Im not looking to be babied, but hardware and wood are not my thing and Im not as comfortable around them so I just need a little guidance.

If i can give negative zero star then i will do it. Buying appliances here is a NO, NO!!!!! Lots of issue.. just a pain.. so stressful.. we bought and paid the appliances April 2021 and until now its July still havent install and or pick up old appliances. They give us number to call and when we call that number they will tell us to wait a call back. Its frustrating. We are so tired on dealing this.. Im sorry for this bad review.

They got what you need. The guy that helps out in the plumbing aisle is great. He’s helped me out many times with home project queries. I should know his name by now. I apologize.

This is not a good home Depot. First time we were in here witnessed shoplifting. Looking for helpful service is difficult. I would recommend driving a few more miles to Eagan or there is a Lowes and Menards near by.

I own a relatively old house that I have been doing updates on for about the past 9 years, so over that time Ive ventured into many aspects of home remodeling. Currently, Im in the midst of a bathroom remodel. This Home Depot has helpful employees, who have offered sound advice when needed (example: the first time I had to fix a plumbing leak). They have a great selection of quality products at competitive prices, and very rarely dont have what I need in stock. I used to split my business between Lowes and Home Depot, but after some of my experiences at Lowes, I decided to give 100% of my business to Home Depot.Im equally as impressed by the Home Depot website... virtually everything I order arrives earlier than estimated.

Was looking for kitchen faucets. The entire time I was in- store, no one asked me if I needed assistance or what I was looking for. I ended up ordering a faucet online whilst standing in the aisle. No sight of an employee the whole time in on my phone, on their website.

The two employees that helped us were super friendly and were able to answer any questions we had!

A big store with a lot of options. However, if you do not know exactly what you need and where to find it you may be out of luck. I asked for assistance and was told to go in one end of the store got there and was told the product is actually in the opposite end of the store.

Great location and usually pretty well stocked. I sometimes have a hard time finding someone to help, but thats not very often. Staff is overall knowledgeable and friendly.

The store was a mess and felt dirty, they didn’t have stock of multiple items I was looking for. Felt understaffed. Everything I picked up, including a nightlight with USB plugs, was coated in a layer of dirt/dust. Lowe’s down the street gave a much better, clean, organized, and helpful experience. They also had the items I was looking for.

The smell of home depot brings me back to 7th grade shop class. Which always makes me feel like weird and whatever because I hated 7th grade shop class.

I just had the best customer service with the cashier Peter. He made my experience at the store really great. Will definitely start going to Home Depot more for building materials!

Their curbside pickup is great! But be aware that it ends at 6PM even though you are in one of the parking spots and click at store, it still sends you a message that they will be out with your order as soon as possible. Yes, I realized on another day doing this that in the email it tells you the curbside pickup hours, but that being said it would be nice if a different message would be sent after hours. Due to slow cell service my page was not loading completely and I missed the available hours the first time.

Staff very helpful giving printed estimate for sliding patio door.

App said to check with store associate for a product since its low on stock. Stood in the aisle for a while and no one really around. I asked a register girl for some help and she said she called someone. 10 minutes later there was no one. I asked another associate if she could help me and she said, and I quote no I cant and walked away. I waited 2 more minutes and left. I guess Ill just buy it on Amazon.

I ended up at this Home Depot because a different store said they couldnt cut a type of lumber. Which they based it off of a title vs seeing the product. The other stores employees were nothing like the ones here. I had a total of 2 employees help me here and they were far more helpful and brought a great atmosphere to this store. The quality of product at this store is also far superior to the other home depot i was at.

Staff here gives a $#!+ and I believe managers are doing something right. Access on Mendota road is better from the West (Robert St.). Liquor store in the parking region makes this a one stop shop (though I have not been).

Just bought a water heater from here, less than a week later a part failed and the plumbers who installed it cant come and just replace the part (that they have in stock mind you)They have to wait for the warranty people to send us the part. Now its going on a week without hot water with a house of 5 people. The dishes and the laundry have been piling up and my 3 little girls havent been able to take a bath in a week.. I suggest looking some place else for a different brand of water heater. Maybe theyll have a better warranty department some place else.

Horrible customer assistance. Rude and condescending employees, especially the bald white guy in order pickups. He was extremely rude about helping me, throughout my entire interaction. The entire experience felt unwelcoming. This is why we’ll stick with Lowe’s or Menards. Home Depot needs to do better. STOP hiring rude white men that deters any attempt to shop here. And yall don’t give receipts for pickups???

We were “bait and switched” when buying our Andersen 400 series windows from Home Depot. In Home Depot’s store display, the Andersen 400 Series windows has real wood(Pine) frames and wood window grills. We received Vinyl frames and fibrex grills when our windows were delivered. Not only did we not get what we ordered(fibrex grills and vinyl frames), but the quality of the windows is subpar(The nail holes were not covered and there is glue and wood filler smudged over the window/wood). Even our carpenter said, “these windows shouldn’t come like this.” On top of that, a window came damaged and ever since the delivery nothing has been done on our end even though we have been extremely patient and flexible throughout this whole process. We have done a lot on our end to try and communicate with store management. A lot of our time has been put into this now. We feel like we were sold something that isn’t the same as what is in the store and this is not ethical. We visited another Home Depot and the department lead said if your order says “wood interior” and “wood grills”, you should be getting wood. That is exactly what he tells the customers at his store that order these exact windows. We also went to another distributor/installation company of Andersen windows and they said the same thing. We went over our budget in order to get the higher quality Andersen 400 series windows. Our project has been completely thrown off our timeline with contractors not being able to complete their work during this period and again, we are extremely disappointed and underwhelmed. We feel like we have been extremely patient throughout this process and we are very disappointed with the way that this has been handled and Home Depot has only offered to take off $500 for windows that we paid over $10k for, not acceptable. It’s been over a month now and they won’t return phone calls/emails from us. The store manager said he would be on top of this and is trying to figure out a solution with HQ in Atlanta. That was 3 weeks ago, no communication from him since. We would of ordered the 200 level windows if we knew this and paid half the price. See photos of our order stating Pine instead of Fibrex or Vinyl.

Went there yesterday to make copies of keys. It was an automated machine that made the keys. An employee still had to help. The employee did not offer me any other selections of keys they had to offer. I wanted to make a few different keys with different designed keys. The employee kept to themselves and did not want to seem to give me the time of day. Very disappointed in the customer service that I received there last night.

This store should close permanently. The store employee responsible for answering the phone allowed it to ring for 16 minutes. I know because I stood in line and watched Eric not answer it. I came inside because they failed miserably to prepare 2 items for curbside pickup. Then to make things worse the 2 items were not in stock. Hmmmm. Then why did the store website state they had it in stock. The 3rd time this store sold items they do not have. Shut down and let Menards assume all building supplies for professional service workers on the clock. Store Manager Paul should resign. This place has too many bad reviews. Never again will I waste 2 hrs. of my time

This trip to Home Depot in SSP was my best experience ever. I arrived needing two specific items. The young man who asked me if I needed assistance knew just where the items were as well as providing multiple options including sale products. This location was great, Ill be coming here again instead of the HD store closer to me because of the great customer service.

I called the store yesterday to inquire about a railing or a bar to help my dad up the stairs into the house. I told them he was getting released from the hospital later that day and I wondered if they had anyone who could help me install it. They sent over two amazing guys -Floyd and Steve -who installed a bar and then would you believe they wouldn’t take any money?? It was unbelievable! The customer service, kindness, and sense of community spirit at this store is amazing. You have to weigh your time vs your health, I guess. On the phone for curbside pickup almost 20 mins waiting for someone to answer. The guy waiting next to us must have known the secret code, since he arrived after us and was gone in 5 mins. Otherwise nice pleasant worker.

Currently good social distancing signs. Paint department is narrow and gets crowded. Lots of plants right now and constantly busy. I tried to look at patio furniture but it was messy.

Horrible customer service. Employees avoid customers, and seem put off when a customer asks for help. Unfriendly. I have also called store and have been directed to various departments where people dont answer the phone and simply hang up. GO TO MENARDS OR LOWES...or your local hardware store. Pretty much anywhere is a better option.

Service nearly impossible to track down. While standing in the landscaping area I phoned the store to ask for assistance. The employee with whom I spoke asked if I could call back in a half hour.I left and drove up the street to Menards. After a short wait at the help desk (Home Depot: you might consider this concept) not only did I get some great direction and advice, Menards has incredibly more paver options from which to choose.

Each associate asks if you need help. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The app is helpful listing the aisle and bay to help you find your desired item.
