Skillman Svcs accepted my wifes car on a Monday, via AAA tow, and completed service by the following morning. They accommodated me without any inconvenience. A tire was repaired, an oil change done, fluids were topped off, the chassis was lubed,, and a multi-point inspection was performed. The cost of the service was very reasonable and less than I had estimated. The technician was fast, accurate, and efficient. Frequent updates and a final report, with recommendations for future work ranked via urgency,, were sent to my phone. Kevin, the manager with whom I spoke and whom I met that next day when picking up the car, was affable, knowledgeable, informative, and respectful. He reiterated what was most important concerning future repairs (rear brakes), a timeline for making the repairs, and what repairs could be safely postponed. Ill be using Skillman Services again for future maintenance and repairs.

This was my first and definitely not last Skillman experience. A hose on my ancient Saab sprung a significant leak while I was running errands, causing coolant to basically gush out in a matter of minutes. I asked tow truck driver to take it to Skillman due to my being less than a quarter mile away. Im so happy I made that decision. I received stellar treatment from the moment I walked in the door, and more importantly, so did my car. All fixed and driving myself home two hours later. Kind, courteous, knowledgeable staff, fair pricing. Skillman now has a customer in me.

Over time, I have developed a high level of trust for Skillman. They provide a detailed evaluation of the required work and the expected cost. They rank the needed work in order of importance, so if budget is an issue, you can prioritize the repairs by safety or other criteria. I usually deal with Jonathan, who is knowledgeable and honest. I feel the costs are reasonable, and that they only do work that is actually needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

They are always mindful of the customer and communicate each step of the way using simple yet very effective text messages with tiny URLs that show you the results of your vehicle health inspection and then what they are doing to your vehicle. The vehicle health inspection results are broken into three categories: GOOD, Needs Future Attention and Needs Immediate Attention. Finally you will receive a text showing you the SERVICES BEING PERFORMED while theyre repairing your vehicle. I highly recommend Skillman Services.

There was just a small miscommunication on their service hours, however it was the thanksgiving weekend. The wonderful news is the work was excellent and fully explained with reasonable cost. Staff was knowledgeable and offered advice on other areas of concern. I would take my car back to Skillmsn again and again.

One day after moving to Ipswich, while en route to Boston, I ran over some sort of strap in the road with a steel hook on it that became lodged in my tire (after bizarrely whacking and leaving black marks all over the side of my car). Skillman towed my car back to their shop and were able to remove the hook, patch the tire, and they even cleaned the side of the car for me. They could not have been nicer and kept in communication with me to let me know the ETA. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Skillmans--I found them to be friendly, efficient and trustworthy. So lucky to have them standing by!
