This Big O Tires location is top notch! Ive taken several cars (Aston Martin DB11, BMW i8, and BMW X5) to Big O. And Every time, its been exceptional service. Theyre friendly, easy to talk with and gave me options. My car dealership tried to rip me off and I immediately went to Big O and they were able to help me fix my tire and get it done quickly. Highly recommend them!

Bought tires here 3,000 miles ago. A tire had a slow leak. Came in on Sunday. They were slammed... placed all calls on hold. I was there in person but the guy never got to me. Had one of their guys put air in the tire and left. ( -1 star).. Returned today. They took care of me.. claimed that I had a nail in the inside wall area which is why I could not see it so they would give me a free tire since I bought the hazzard coverage a few months ago. He said I would just have to pay mounting, balancing, and disposal. Well THAT came to over$40 because they included the warranty fee EVENTHOUGH I did not have the first tire very long.(-1 star) The place I used to go to made it only $25 when I qualified for a free tire. I think I will go back to them next time.

I would like to rate them higher ... for the most part they are very professional ... when I went back after having them do some specific work, I was very pleased ... but then an inexperienced writer irritated me with a conversation with a remote manager that they would not do the work I wanted for fear of warranty work not related to the work I had requested. Later I had my vehicle towed there because I needed tires and I had a starting issue ... but I also needed brakes ... the guy, Vince, made some comment about all-wheel-drive vehicles needing all four tires ... just not sound ... Anyway... I forgot about the brakes ... and they have missed that business ... even though I bought all 4 tires ... but they miss my loyalty as such ... Ill probably go back for tires ... but they could have a lot more business if they werent trying to scam people on extra tires.

Garcia and his crew this morning were AMAZING! And so friendly! They got me two new tires in less than an hour. They were understanding of my price concerns and were honest and fair with their pricing! Will recommend to all my friends and family! Thank you again!!!

I took my car in thinking I might need new brakes because everything I read online said they last 60K and I had more than that. I took the car to Big O and they checked them quickly and said they had plenty of wear on them. I like honest people.

Never going back to Big O again! Very rude behavior from the staff. I moved here from Florida and I have a maintenance contract with Tire Kingdom which is acknowledged by Big O in California. Been there a couple of times for tire rotations. In the recommendations, they suggested brake pads and control arm replacement. I DID NOT ASK FOR A QUOTE. They gave a quote. Guess what? $1300 for brakes and control arm (no rotors included) and alignment. I got it done in a different popular franchise for $700 (brakes, ROTORS and control arm) which is a much better deal. I went back to Big O for a wheel alignment and this time I asked for a quote for a power steering leak. The first question I get from their employee is “So now you wanna get our quote, know the issues and get them fixed elsewhere?” I mean, that’s my wish what I want to do with the quote. By law, you guys are entitled to provide me with a quote. You cannot question me what I do next. Well if you quote double prices for everything, I might as well get it done elsewhere. That’s my call. As expected, I was quoted for a power steering pressure hose replacement for $800. This was definitely expensive. I am getting it fixed at Firestone for $450. Another major point to note is, they scare the customers to get their business. When the staff examined my brakes, they mentioned less than 1mm brakes are left and I am going to damage my rotors soon. I drove back and forth to Simi Valley with those brakes, used the car for a week and then got my brakes fixed when the staff elsewhere told me there was close to 3mm brakes left. I don’t get why you scare the customers to get their business. This is not a fair business practice.

Oil change coupon is for 5 Qt. Most cars take more.No point - they do not accept coupon anyway.Service was not good. Will not be back.

Took my car in for a tire inspection. The salesman stood there looking at my tire without even bending to get a closer look. Said I can buy a new tire right now because mine was old and bald. I still have 4/32nds of an inch of tread and 3/32 on the outer edges due to camber wear. I told him I had a backup tire so as soon as he realized he wouldnt get a sale, he told me there was nothing he can do. Didnt offer any air for the obviously flat tire in front of him, did not call a technician over for a second look. Never shopping here again and they lost out on a purchase of four Michelins for my car. Stay away

This was a great overall experience! All my questions were answered in a professional manner and I was not pushed to purchase services I did not need. The associate took the time to explain tire options and let me make the choice. The installation took about 2 hours (4 tires purchased).

I came to Big O because a co-worker recommended them and it was close to my place of work. They were super helpful and went above and beyond to get my car fixed before 5pm. They also took care of the maintenance I had been avoiding for 2 years.I will definitely be coming back.

2020-01-21 Update: I had a tire pressure leakage problem several months ago, it is not severe so I pump air in every now and then to get it running. However, I got a coupon in the mail (patch for free) so I went in to this store about a month ago. After a week of the repair, I found out the tire pressure is still slightly lower than the other 3, which is exactly what I had before. Today (a month later) the tire warning light came up again. I wonder if the tire was ever properly fixed?

This location was fast, friendly and very helpful. I got solid quotes, advice and the service was great. I will be back soon!

Needed tire with embedded nail repaired. I have a Tesla 3 and the tires have foam lining for sound deadening so tire repair is more difficult. Costco could not do it and recommend Big O. They did the job in reasonable time and at a fair price. Very satisfied! Highly recommended!

I made an appointment online with this place to have my tires replaced. The appointment was for 10am. It is now 12:08pm as I sit here in the waiting room. I mean, what is the purpose of an appointment if I still have to wait more than 2 hours to have tires replaced? God forbid Id have to come in for something more serious. Heres how the day had gone down.Came in at 10. Two gentlemen at desks were assisting other clients, one on the phone, one I person. The one in person had not made an appointment. He came in for tire repair and was done an hour or so ago. Will helped him. The other guy was on the phone. Sounded like he was tracking down some parts or something. Eventually, Will said hello. I told him I had a 10am. He started to help me because the guy he was helping stepped outside to use the phone. But then promptly went back to home when he walked back in.I sat there for a goo ld half hour before anyone started processing my appointment.They finally drove my car into the bay at about 10 after 11am, for a 10am appointment. Think I mentioned that. I asked what the point was of making an appointment and got nothing in response. The just moved the car into the alignment bay now. Wonder how much longer I have to sit here..... Very highly disappointed in having to waste a morning to have tires installed.

I was satisfied. Compared to dealer, much cheaper and seems to speak regular language not dollars only. So far so good. Got an alignment down and rotation. Person pointed out different types of tires at wrong places, thanks dealer. Thanks a lot. So far so good, there is 6 month warranty on alignment, Im quite certain Ill be back before thats up.

Had a very good experience at the store on Irvine Center Drive (near Research Drive) on Friday afternoon, October 4th, around 12:45 pm. Went to have a nail checked and removed which was stuck in one of my tires. Originally, I was quoted $25 for a tire repair. Once the store team inspected the nail they simply removed it and didnt charge me a penny for their effort since there was no puncture involved. Im sure there are other companies that would have gone ahead and charged me the $25 anyway. My takeaway is that the folks working in this store are very honest and although I didnt do any other business on this occasion, Im sure I will in the future, starting with my next oil change which appears to be significantly less than a comparable one from the next door Jiffy Lube. Always looking for honest places to do business with and look forward to my upcoming business with your store at this location.

Big O Tires had the best price on the tires I needed and they could accommodate my schedule. I want thrilled with the tire price not including the mounting and balancing which, when divided amongst all four tires works out to be $25 per tire. Other places I called included these essential services with the cost of the tire. All said, the service, prices, and schedule were all good!

I love these guys. I had a tire issue that required that my tire be replaced. It was 100% covered under my warrantee. That is why I go to them.

I stopped here with a screw in my tire. The manager was really great, and hired his daughter to make sure he could see her ha ha! He offered free coffee and fixed my tire for free, his daughter just suggested a tip for his employee. Happy to give a big tip. Great people.

It can be a little difficult to get to, but the service advisers are great. They had me in and out very quickly. I recommend getting nitrogen put in your tires while they service your car.

Will and Dave were very professional. I had a blow out on the freeway... not fun. So I got my tires here and I am very happy. When I was getting my tires changed, we saw the front brake pads needed changing. I knew they needed already, I was putting it off. So I got a quote from Dave. And then I called 3 other places, and Daves quote was the lowest. And its big o tires they have quality service. Over all, I am very happy. Mostly because Will and Dave are exceptional at thier jobs.

Will was very helpful. The service was excellent. I bought my wheels and Tires from Big O and will promised one day delivery of the parts and a couple of hours of installation and he delivered on that promise.

I just spent an hour and a half here and didnt get anything done to my car; and thats a good thing. I brought my car for a slow leak in the tire. The leak is so slow, its undetectable. They didnt charge me for the repair. I also had them check the alignment and that was good so they didnt charge me for that either. The point is, if you want a place with integrity that will not charge you for things you dont need, go here. Ive also had tires installed here in the past with no issues.

First time purchasing tires from Big O. The service manager, Tony Garcia, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and definitely made this our go to tire store in the future.

The service writer was amicable and engaging - definitely NOT a high pressure, up-sell kind of place. The technicians were helpful and quite knowledgeable. The physical store itself could use some better organization and storage. The front area was somewhat cluttered and unkept. The hallway to the restrooms was piled with items that should be stored elsewhere. But, hey, lets get real. Its an automotive repair shop - not some posh, luxury café - how else would you expect it to look, right?

I had a warning light about low tire pressure and took it over to Big O in Irvine. They found a nail, patched it and sent me on my way in 30 minutes with NO charge. I tipped the guy who repaired the tire as a thank you, and the whole crew was totally pleasant and gracious.

Im 99.99% sure my check engine light was not when I got there. After tire change, the light was on. They said it was on when mechanic drive into shop. Ummm just be aware.

Bought 4 tires a number of years ago - a very pleasant experience. A few months later, 2 tires needed to be replaced for defects - they gave me such a runaround, it left a nasty taste in my mouth and I vowed never to use them again. Awhile later, I noticed that the car was shimmering around 65mpg (we dont use this car much except to go around town so it rarely goes on a freeway). I brought the car in to have tires rebalanced and rotated. But now, the steering wheel shimmied significantly around 20-25mph (fact confirmed by their mechanic) that did not exist before. Service manager thought one of the wheel might not be round. But instead of addressing that issue, he kept trying to tell me to do work on the front end saying that it has a lot of play. When it became obvious he had no intention to fix the defective tire that is under warranty, I told him to rotate the tires back to where it was before. Amazing, the shimmering miraculously went away. Went back to tell him it went away, but the response was well you have front end issues also and again gave me no indication that they will work on the defective tire that is under warranty. Lesson Learned - they are vey good is they can get additional sales from you but if you go in for warrant work - WORSE. They do not stand by their work. Reconfirmed I will never use this service.

Tony garcia took care of me and my BMWs new tires and alignment. it feels like im driving a brand new car again. i wasnt expecting that! everything comes with a long term service and warranty included which i really like. lots of locations nationwide so youre always taken care of if you move like i plan to. Bad mistake BIG Os, been a customer for years and they zapped me good. They made up an issue with my truck because their technicians are too lazy to complete a tire rotation. Calling my credit card company now to cancel charge and will report this business to the BBB.Wow, very bad move BIG Os, you lost quite a few customers after today.

A little on the expensive side considering the BIG-O in Costa mesa has the same tires at about 10% less. Not sure if that is a product of its location. Service wise havent really done much more than shop around with them, and they didnt seem irritated in my asking questions about tire stock and prices.

Great service by Tony in the front. He was super friendly and knowledgable. Gave me the biggest discount i could find in the area and accomodated my time crunch. Everywhere else I checked had 4 hour wait and Tony got me in and out in less than an hour. I received 4 mew tires and an oil change for a lot less than just 4 tires at any other plaxe in the area. I will be coming naxk here again and again.

I had a great experience at Big O Tires fixing a flat tire that was punctured. Returning to my parked car at the Irvine Station, I found a flat on a Friday night. No tire shops were opened so I changed to the spare and had to leave the car. I live in San Diego, so I had to drive home and come back on a Sunday to repair. Big O Tires was open (no where else other than PepBoys) and had me in and out in 30 minutes. They repaired the tire at no cost and quoted me for tire changes on all four plus an alignment (which I will need soon). Armando was friendly and helpful; he made a stressful ordeal, much easier!! Really appreciate it!

I just did the oil change on Wednesday, they did an inspection on the car, and now I found out the air filter cover screw was broken inside and the lid could not close anymore. Have to bring the car back, which need me spend extra time which I dont have right now.

Horrible experience and customer service with this establishement. been going there for over 12 years whenever I had tire, wheel issues. Decided to give them more business and get my oil changed there. Brought my girlfriend there are well. Went in for an oil change and my girfriends car left with $1200 worth of bumper damage that they initially admitted fault then when she went to follow up, said it was her fault.Poor professionalism from Armando and everyone involved. Would not repeat, would not recommend.

Called the store and asked them if the do patch jobs on tires, they said yes. Went to the shop and asked them if they can patch my tires they said yes just wait here. After an hour waste of time they tell me oh we dont patch tires for such a car. Wth

I had a screw in my tire and they immediately fixed it - took about 15 min and told me it was free - I gave him a tip as a courtesy. He explained the process thoroughly. I was a little leary of going there after reading the other reviews, but they were close by and open on Sunday. Dont let the tatoos and music scare you away - they were really nice to me and they checked the air pressure in my other tires.

Rick was great. Fixed up our pickup Pathfinder after a bad blow out on the 405. Prompt customer service had us in an out within about 45 minutes on a Friday afternoon.

Waited a hour and a half for a tire repair with a cost of $25. Seemed expensive considering some places charge much less or nothing for tire repairs. I had to get the repair done during my lunch so did not have time to shop around.

Went in for a tire change and oil change and it was done ok nothing spectacular but the job got done. Service was just ok but they werent rude either it was just normal. I had to take the car back to recheck the alignment that was one of my issues but overall the service was fine. I could have given a 4 star but I wish i could give a 3.5 but i cant so i rounded down. I would give them another shot definitley and hopefully wont have to return to check alignment.

I cannot begin to express how disgusted i am with Big O tires in Irvine, Ca. On June 27,2013 im on my way to the irvine spectrum driving all the way from Hollywood,ca and i get a flat. So i hop out, roll up my sleeves and proceed to get my spare out and it just so happens my jack is no where to be found. So i google map tire repair and go figure Big O Tire shop is the only shop in 6 mile radius in every direction. As i was on my way i decided to call and give them a heads up i would be there within 5 to 10 minutes. It was about 5:30 when i called and talked to a guy that said he could not change my tire to my SPARE because it was his wifes birthday and he would be closing in 5 minutes. Then he goes on to say that he has been working late everyday and he is not going to stay 10 more minutes. Keep in mind that it is 5:30 and the website says they close at 6pm. If im not mistaken you guy are a professional establishment with top of the line tool to change a rim in less then 5 to 10 mins or quicker but instead i spent 2 hours waiting on the side of a road for a damn tow truck. Not to mention it was $85.00 to put on a spare. So i would like to thank you Big o tires for your gracious and most humble sincerity for your customers. Ill be sure to relay the excellent service i was provided.Tire sales and installation plus all of your auto service needs BEFORE 5:30PM. We will beat any of our competitor prices. We are HONEST(aint this the truth) and believe in providing the WORST service. Give us a try! And youll see.P.S. To the worthless employee who closed that night i hope your wife had a great birthday and you didnt leave her on the side of the road.
