We had an amazing experience with Mr Sparky. Daniel was our electrician and he was incredibly nice, skilled, and professional, and he did exactly what we needed done and more. He was very helpful every step of the way, explaining in detail the quote and the repairs he was doing as he worked on our house. He even took the time to point out other things we should have looked at - electrical and non electrical (I.e. fire extinguisher needing to be recharged). I highly recommend using Daniel with Mr Sparky, and the company overall seems like a very well run, honest business with a high degree of integrity and expertise.

Tony Cross did excellent work replacing a very outdated and dangerous electrical panel. He was on time, explained everything thoroughly, answered my questions, and was professional and very personable. He ensured the work was complete and finished the replacement early enough for the city inspector to give the approval before noon (they don’t work Friday afternoon) so we would have power over the weekend; especially our air conditioner! Mr. Sparky - and particularly the technician Albert B. - were amazing. We are going through a sale of our home and a few items turned up on inspection. Not only did Albert do a wonderful job replacing a couple switches and outlets, but he went the extra mile to speak with the buyers, answering any questions they had about the state of the electrical system in our 65 year old home. The first 2 days of the service call to my mother’s house involved getting an estimate on the repair/upgrade. Daniel was very courteous, my mother did not feel pressured or rushed into a decision and Daniel patiently devoted time to getting the most reasonable price for the job. We were quite shocked by the cost of the job but felt Daniel was quite thorough in both his efforts to give us the most affordable cost and in his explanations of the issues and options. It is an older home and it required more work than I was expecting.When it was time to start the actual work, Tony worked on the job as well because it was a 2-man job. Tony and Daniel were very thorough and worked hard to make sure everything was not only meeting code and safe but also looked finished/professional and aesthetically pleasing (nothing crooked, torn up, or gaps and holes left unsealed or uncovered). They started early and finished late, putting in long hours to get the job done right. They thoroughly cleaned up after they completed their work. They patiently and courteously answered our questions and were very helpful. I am not happy that she has to spend that much money but I have never experienced this much patience, courtesy and effort from anyone on a service call at her house. I like to think I am a bit of a DIY-er, and when some outlets in the kitchen didn’t work, I tried my own things, obviously some online searches and couldn’t figure it out and conceded that I needed a pro. They were easily able to accommodate me for a future Saturday appointment. Albert arrived at the time frame and promptly went to work. From the time I called to inquire on pricing and availability I had one of the best customer experience Ive ever received. Christian assisted me on the phone, he was very patient and professional, he made sure to explain pricing thoroughly and he assured I understood everything before I hung up. Tony was the technician who completed the repair, and he was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Tony explained every single thing he worked on and he ensured all of my questions were answered before he left. This was the first I used Mister Sparky however I will definitely used them again, and I will recommend them as Tony and Christian were very, very helpful and patient.

I schedule an appointment and had to wait 2 days, then they gave me a 10 hour window to start with, then at 2:44pm (I still have the text) they called to say they were not going to be able to come …They wanted to reschedule but I could not afford to wait again for a no-show! So I said NO! This was an essential repair. Mister Sparky fizzled on this customer 😕

Estimate requested for interlock device for electrical panel and installation of generator plug for outside generator. I was made aware that the age of my panel, in addition to the in availability of parts due to manufacturer no longer being in business would require panel replacement (30+ years old). General inspection of panel and ground wiring performed with some deficiencies being noted and corrected while here. Appreciate Daniel’s insight and recommendations.

Weve come across some odd electric issues and odd wiring situations from a previous owner. Weve also seen some unsafe things. We had Daniel come out and fix one such riddle last year and he was so great we had him out again this year to replace an outlet and some switches, as well as do an inspection, surge protection and estimate for new panel and some upgrades and items that need to be up to code. Daniel takes the time to explain everything and we feel very confident with his work.Update 4/9/21 - We had Daniel out again to upgrade our circuit panel and install smoke detectors. Daniel once again did a fantastic job. Everything looks great and he was helpful explaining things and answering questions. Also he and Mr. Sparky were quick to adjust scheduling around for a required extra day and grab the necessary permits on short notice.

I have used Mister Sparky 3 times since 2015 and each time the customer service was flawless from the initial call till the end of the service call. For example, Albert, my technician, noticed my door knob was loose and he just fixed it! Just amazing. Not only do they provide great customer service, the advice and technical knowledge beats all others. I have had technicians leave because they could not fix electrical problems. After that experience I called Mister Sparky. I will only call one company from now on for my electrical needs, Mister Sparky.

Albert was prompt, courteous, pleasant, and professional. He quickly determined the problem, explained everything clearly, including the cost, and replaced the inoperative dimmer switch with a newer model. He also advised us that we would need to replace the breaker panel sometime in the future, discussed the new code requirements going into effect here soon, and provided an estimate. Additionally, Albert showed us where to access a video that explains how breaker boxes work. Altogether, an excellent experience!

I am absolutely disgusted in regards to a job interview I had with Mister Sparky recently, the supposed owner of the branch (Albert) who spent the whole interview I had with him discriminating and judging my character, was smug, and insincere, harboring an attitude of superiority and lack of empathy towards me... The interview felt more like being in an interrogation room with a bad cop who just wanted to dig up dirt and not find the strengths in someone’s character but instead point out every flaw in detail. I Even was 100% honest about mistakes made in my past (YEARS BEFORE) with Jessica (who was an absolutely amazing person to talk to even if just through text), things I have paid for in my past... I chose to disclose these things prior to any interviews or anything in hopes to be seen as truthful and transparent and not waste someone’s time as Albert did mine. And STILL got asked to be interviewed. He was completely objective in that ironically he had not one “spark” of emotion or compassion let alone anything else despite my efforts to better myself and further my career in the electrical field. Only “spark” I felt was the one from him lighting his cold fire of unrelenting judgement under me. Not even considerate of someone who has had as many hardships that I do choose not to use as excuses to hold me back. He then ended the interview insulting my character as if I’m somehow a menace to society and told me to “come back in a year” once I figured everything out with a snarky tone.... He was not solution minded but instead shadowed with the mind of someone who has no compassion or admiration of someone trying to better themselves.

We are repeat customers. Super happy with their excellent service and skill.

I was very concerned about an electrical burning smell (and one evening a smoke smell that accompanied it). The first available appointment was one week out. One hour before their arrival window, I received a phone call telling me they would not be out for another week. This was very distressing. I try to be understanding during Covid, but understand the burning smells were a little alarming and the last-minute reschedule was a bit of a shock.The electrician was nice enough, but since my main problem that I was very specific about when I made the appointment was an electrical burning smell in a certain area of my home, it was very inconvenient that he would not lift his mask to smell the smell, which was very faint when he was here. I respect the Covid masks and I even offered to put an N95 over my surgical mask. No luck, which I respect.This second appointment should never have been set if their technician has to smell it in order to diagnose. I asked about checking outlets and the panel and what could be done to try and determine anything, but there was no attempt to diagnose further. I had specifically asked when setting the appointment if there was equipment to diagnose if certain outlets could be problematic, thermal image the panel, etc., and was told there was. In person, there was apparently nothing he could do.I cannot recommend this company because they did not show the first time and the second appointment should never have never been set if they have to use their sense of smell for diagnosis which is going to be tough unless the smell is very strong. This whole mess has cost me two weeks and now I have to find another company.

I I called Mr Sparky, and they sent Michael to the house to make the necessary repairs. He arrived right on time, was both professional and courteous, and laid out a series of options. Once we agreed on exactly what he would do, Michael got to it and worked efficiently to finish the work. I’ll call Mr Sparky again the next time I need electrical work done. Recommend you consider calling them, also.

I needed some work done quickly. Mister Sparky was able to respond same day and complete all my requests within a few hours. I received text messages complete with a photo of my electrician prior to his arrival. He arrived on time near the beginning of the arrival window I was quoted, and in uniform. My electrician, Brennon, was very courteous and professional. He began with a whole home electrical system inspection to ensure everything was in safe, good working order. He listened to what I needed and provided several repair and upgrade options along with the complete price for each up front. Once I decided, he promptly completed the work and walked me through each task and the result. I did not have to interrupt anything I was doing, and the power stayed on during the work. I was not billed until all the work was finished, and he was sure I was satisfied. When I was billed, the amount was exactly the same as projected when I was given the options beforehand. If you need quick and professional electrician service, I would recommend Mister Sparky.

Same morning service—I called at approx. 6:45 a.m., and Robbie arrived right on time at 9:15 (they gave me a window of 9:15-9:30). He fixed my problem and was very helpful and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable. I won’t hesitate to call them again when I need an electrician.

Glenn was fantastic. Obvious he loves his job and is incredibly knowledgeable. Went out of his way to explain everything upfront about pricing, what he was doing, helping me contact my energy provider and ultimately re-establish my power. I give Mister Spark five stars for coming to my home and doing a GREAT JOB. I had ordered a new appliance that required more amps. They came the same day I called, started the job and finished the next day. Before doing the job Aaron inspected my house and explained everything, They installed a new electrical panel (which I knew I would have to have replaced one day), updated the main grounding system and update some other electrical requirements to make my home more safe. Mr. Sparkys technician (Tyler), arrived at a great time during my appointment window. Tyler had a friendly smile and great attitude. I revisited the electrical issues with him again and showed him where all the issues were located. I had three exterior outlets and a kitchen light not working any longer. He was very knowledgeable about how to fix the problems and fixed them in a timely manner. He had a smile the entire time and was gentle and calm at handling his tools and made sure that he cleaned up as he was working. He welcomed me to watch him while he worked, and he made me feel very comfortable. Now, all three outlet plugs are working and the kitchen light is back in business.
