No hastle any of the times Ive picked up a truck here. Gave us a significant discount and extra day if we dropped off in Abilene instead of Sweetwater as planned which was conveniently on our route so worked out great.

I went to get a u-haul to help my daughter move from Irving to Lufkin to be closer to us. We first looked online and reserved what was a great deal for 4days and over 400 miles which helped a lot. The staff were extremely helpful as the deal online didnt show up but they figured it out for us. The location was clean and maintained. The staff themselves were inviting and helpful. The trucks themselves were clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this location.

I was having a bad day when I went in trying so hard to find the right uhual for my money... OMG! The Irving location you have to go in and make sure you ask for Chelsea shes great very informative and patient i thank God for her.

Its a bigger sized location. Which means better availability than the others. Theyve included no contact/social distancing in the pick up/return process. Which made it faster for us. We needed the truck longer because it rained unexpectedly. They told us it was not a problem, we could extend the length of rental. This location has always been a great one. The associates do their best to help you and are always easy to work with. Even at the end of a long day, theyre still friendly and efficient.

They could care less after you rent or return the vehicle. Its just a job to most of them and was said. No credit for overfilling tank but charged if not left at theyre proper level. Take pictures of everything.

Horrible service from the guy who served us, only wish I got his name but I was to disgusted by his service that all I wanted to do was get out. He was completely disrespectful for my father and I couldn’t pin point why and was forced to speak to me because I was the one renting the U-Haul. I hate to say this but almost felt racist towards us, so disgusted. This guy was wearing a general manager shirt and had a red hair and red beard. I was going to ask who the manager was but after seeing his shirt’s name I just wasn’t to get out.One more note is that the road to get to U-Haul has massive holes. When I asked the same guy that serviced me if U-Haul had reported the holes to the city he replied “I don’t know, I don’t mess with that or the city”. The picture below is one of many pot holes.Please take your services else where because the comments are true of the rudeness.Update: I just confirmed that the person who served me was Raymond Johnson the general manager.

This location was very good. Heather here was so helpful that you can go tension free if there is some problem. She helped me replacing my dolly and also helped with the lock stuck in the trailer door. I would recommend this place to anyone. Heather is a very nice person.

Horrific experience, dropped off the truck after hours and my reservation wasn’t coming up online in order for me to confirm the check out. Called the number for customer service and sat in the parking lot for a whole hour with no answer.The truck I had received was so shaky in the inside, the driver door wasn’t sealed and it was so loud inside the cabin.The individual who attended to me at the beginning of the rental was watching videos in front of me on his iPhone while I’m standing there waiting for help. Overall unbelievable experience. I will be using Budget from now on.

Worst uhaul customer service.I had an advanced confirmed reservation at this facility to install brake controller in my vehicle, when I enter the store, representative says, sorry we cannot accommodate you as I am the only agent working and store general manager had left for the day.Wish they had the courtesy to notify me in advance, I would not have to drive 40mins.Agent did not bother to help on alternatives ( check for other uhaul near by locations who might been able to help me out)I called the uhaul customer service from the store and they stated general manager will reach you ASAP, please wait but no response.Absolutely no coordination between scheduling department (for appointments), store agent and general manager.

They charge me for 63 miles wich it was 70 dollars .... And I only did 6, they fix it but it was not fair for me because I needed my money and I had to wait 4 days for the money dropped in my account!! The guy with the long hair it was really nice

At the end of a long difficult move that left me feeling worn out and grumpy, their humor and wonderful customer service brightened my day. I left feeling happy and thankful. Very easy to order and pick up a truck but watch for those extra fees

Do not ever ever go in this location because this location make my day really bad. Uhaul just your valid ID and a debit card but for what they need lease proof. Man we are renting your service in your fee you provide you will have our valid id what else you need.

Supee easy. Waa there right when they opened and disnt have to wait for someone to notice we were there.

They transferred my reservation to a site completely out of my way because the site I booked for didnt have the trailer I reserved and instead of telling me they waited until I got there. I had to rent another trailer just so I didnt have to go somewhere else because I didnt have time Their reason was because they didnt want to lose the reservation. There are no lights so you cant see anything in the parking lot.

Went to the wrong location, very understanding when I called to extend appt time. Very fast and I like the check in feature to document anything wrong with the rental.

Very bad experience. Zero star. I will not ever go to this location because of the way I was treated. I rented U-Haul at least 4 to 5 times in Seattle, Washington. I never had to provide any other proofs other than valid Drivers license along with a credit/debit card. But for some whatever reason, other than valid Drivers license, this particular location needs Leasing documents of current apartment or a new apartment which I did not have. I could drive back and get the leasing proof, but decided not to rent here because of representatives behavior. I felt like they own the business, they do whatever they want whether to provide rental or not, but that was not correct way to deal with a customer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I have stored my U BOX at this location for over a year and Dan the manager has been beyond nice! The staff knew me and engaged in conversation when I ever I stopped by. I have also rented a truck and had no problems. I recommend this location. :)

Had my trailer lights put on and the manager is the one that did the work. He didn’t even check to see if it was working right. I assumed he knew what he was doing. So I went back and he was very unfriendly and said he would check it out. But he would have to much time to spend on it. I said well I would need to speak to a manager and he said I am the manager!Don’t trust this place with your vehicle....

I hope the service is faster next time. Everything went okay except for the person working there making it a little slower process. Good prices for rentals.

I have been living in Irving for 6 years now and I have noticed every time I would pass this Uhaul I would see how dirty and not well maintenanced it was. It’s been 2 months now that just by seeing the outside says so much to this location. It’s cleaner! It’s better! And gives it a Great appearance to stop by and rent their moving trucks.

We have rented from them for years but this time was the last. We accidentally left our tool kit and tie down straps in the back of the truck. We realized it the next day and called. They had to have seen those items when they checked the back for the dolly and blankets we rented. They deny finding these items and were pretty unconcerned that one of their staff was a theif. There are other uhaul locations we can use and I would recommend everyone not use this location.

Had a great experience with pick up. Guys were super nice and helpful. Drop off was a nightmare! James treated my family HORRIBLY!! Making threats and falsely accusing them of things. Will not ever do business with them again as long as they employ people like that.

Ive been so patient and tolerating of many things. Im sick of the #racist people Ive encountered here. On #VeteransDay, Sunday, November 11 2018, this #GeneralManager refused to assist me upon entry. I have a valid #reservation and just wanted to be assisted as those customers before me. He never even gave me a chance to present my reservation. He instantly brushed me off! Eventually, he demanded that I make my purchase based on how he wanted it to be. I didnt want to display his face, but Im tired of this. He was extremely #rude! Its been too many similar situations like this. I will not ignore this issue. #Uhaul Ill give you a few days to respond to the #evidence I submitted to you.

If you ran a business where no one cared it would look like uhaul of irving. Had to go here for a dolly. Picked up a car hauler and truck the previous day at Uhaul of Plano, but they didnt have a dolly. Waited in line for over 45 minutes. One staff member kept coming up to people and asking what they were there for, then cutting them off by saying Youll just have to wait!. Never did see him help anyone. Close as I could tell, he just enjoyed telling people to wait. Horrible experience.

If I could give 0 stars Ill give that. These guys refuse service, if you are MUSLIM. There was an older gentleman named James, who said that even with Texas ID; I need to leave him my Green Card for the duration of the rental. Once I protested, he refused rental to me. I called the police department, officer was very helpful but he said its their property and if they dont wanna rent to you, its their right not to. The older gentleman never called the manager so that I can speak to him and he kept threatening me with Homeland security. I dont know how many people will agree to leave their only proof of permanent residence in US with a guy like James. MUSLIMS BE AWARE PLEASE DONT USE THIS LOCATION.

They tell you on the phone you need exactly 2 things to rent a trailer....a valid license and a matching debit/credit card BUT when you actually get inside the store tge extremely rude employees state they need your lease to prove where you live then spin the computer screen around to show you that You might be a Terrorist!!!! 1. You should have mentioned on the phone when I asked exactly what I needed to rent a trailer that I needed to bring my lease agreement 2. Dont tell me the rules in 1 employees line are different than yours. Really? You said Im lucky hes working with me! Hmmmmm....so no real rules...at your store..just play it fast and loose?Well because of your ridiculousness I went to a complete different store in a different city and all they needed is EXACTLY what you told me you needed over the phone.......weird. So I went there and rented the trailer and used it and returned it liked a good customer.

I came here on the last day of the month 3/31. I did not have a reservations. I had picked up U Haul trucks without reservations before and thought it was not required. My bad, I had to reserve. I did not get a truck from them but the folks at this place are not courteous, no eye contact, no his nothing. Not a great customer experience

Rented the Uhaul in McKinney and had a pleasant experience doing so. When I returned the truck, I did so after hours at this location. I was charged an additional $50 for going over the mileage, which I did, so I was not upset about that. I was then charged an additional $75 the next day, $50 of which was the same mileage fee and then an additional $15 cleaning fee. The truck was not returned dirty by any stretch of the imagination. It took Uhaul three days to refund my account, but they refused the refund the cleaning fee. I was told that a manager would call me back, but they did not. Three days later I called back and was told the same thing, that a manager would call me back. I told the lady on the phone that I will recommend against Uhaul from this point on and she did not care at all. She told me to go ahead and review the Uhaul at 1 star if thats what I needed to do.Complete unwillingness to correct their mistakes and to make their customers coming back. Will not use again!

If I could.. i Iwould give it -1 star...The white old guy with black glasses.. is strongly rude. I accidently droped my car keys into the drop box..next day I went to ask them for the keys. The white guy was like” i dnt know”. I asked where is manager “i dnt know”. Contnd.. i dnt know for every question. I am amazed how did u-haul hired a guy who dont know anything.😏

Very unprofessional, I will NEVER rent from this location ever again, until they replace, James. This gentleman was very rude and prejudice. He also, made false accusations (saying that the truck was dirty, ( in which it was filthy when I received it), yelled at me, and made rude comments. I’n addition, I also had to make several trips just to pay this “false hidden fees mess”. Due to the fact, of the machine wouldn’t allow certain payments, like half cash, half card. Also, starting off I was not told about the hidden fees off top, so I had to come up with money I didn’t have. To go on, this was not a pleasant experience . Very fraustrating as a customer and on top that you bring in rudeness? Higher authorities will be contacted. Please listen to reviews, as you can see many have been placed in the same situation and treated the same way, by James. Visit another U-haul company!
