My daughter called me up and said that her dash tire reading was 13 for her rear passenger tire. I called up 111 Tire and Service and a gentleman named Pete answered the phone. I told him of my problem and asked him if I could bring the car over and wait there for it to be checked and fixed. He said he had a couple of jobs before mine and to bring the car over in an hour. I went there in an hour and five minutes after I arrived they brought the car in. The tire technician called me to the work area and showed me a piece of metal in the tire. He repaired it promptly and I was quickly on my way. The repair was quick and very reasonably priced and two days later the reading is 34 which is what it was when I left the shop. It is behind a Valero Gas Station which has good coffee, drinks and snacks. This was my first time going to Route 111 in Islip but it wont be my last. Pete and the technician-Thank you so much. Very good spot, very decent man who assisted me with my tires, no one has prices like them, I’ve shopped around and ended up going back to this spot. Quick service too, maybe about a half hour at most. Now the real test is when the rain and snow comes. Let’s see how good these tires work !

This is the only place I will allow to work on my vehicle. Found it on a whim a couple years ago and the owner, Pete, is the most genuine and honest mechanic I have ever met. He always listens to my needs and gets the job done fast and efficiently. He always remembers your name and treats you like a valued friend. My whole family goes to 111 Tire and Auto now and I have & always will recommend this shop to anyone.

Honest mechanics are hard to find and Pete and Bob are just that. All my family and friends now use Rt 111 tire and auto. Got 4 new tires at a great price and car was done in 30 mins. Cant say enough about this shop.

Best mechanics I have used, brought my car there with no appointment, they easily could’ve sold me on many hundreds of dollars worth of repairs...instead they actually fixed what was broken and replace only what was necessary...car was ready in 2 hours at more than half of the cost from what I was expecting. I can’t recommend this place enough, it was recommended to me by a person that had very similar experience. Good honest mechanics are hard to find and this place does inspections and has all diagnostics equipment and it’s a local business.

My three cars are brought to them on a regular basis and they always give me the best pricing and service around. There is no of the shop on Long Island I’ll bring my clothes to ever again. I bought new tires for my wifes car in late December. General RT43. The drivers side rear has been slowly deflating since installation. I called 111 to have them repair the problem. I would expect for a new tire purchase of $500 they would stand behind their work. I was told on the phone there is no warranty on these tires of any kind. The General tires website explicity states this is not the case. I brought the car to the shop. I was told and shown that it was the valve that was slowly leaking. And that the sensor could be damaged. There was no leak before the installation of these tires nor any issue with the sensor. Instead of offering the change the valve free of charge, standing behind their work, I was told there would be a charge for the valve or the sensor should they need replacement. Why would I give more money to a place I have already learned that I cannot rely on? I have a problem with a brand new set of tires and could not rely on this place to do anything to remedy that. I will not return to this place nor would I advise anyone I know or care about to go there for any work on tires or otherwise.

Now adays it hard to find a MECHANIC you can TRUST . Pete and the crew do GREAT WORK at a fair and reasonable price. PBoys wanted to charge me almost $150 more for the same job.
