Showed up at 7am this morning to buy a grill that I found on the website. I looked around. Found exactly what I was looking for. I went back to the counter. I asked the gentleman what they thought about that brand. They where very honest and told me how great it was. They immediately helped me load it up and check out and load into my vehicle. Very nice and professional. I will come here before I go to Lowes or home depot now. Thanks for the help!

Terrible experience. This used to be a nice store. One register open with line of customers into the back. The floor is a disorganized mess. Went looking for Carhartt shirts. Nothing was folded, just a big pile with no prices clearly marked. This place needs new management. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Pros Never crowded some things are cheaper than lowes. Cons Not overall as cheap as Lowes they dont have enough workers and they seem not friendly. Im sure they are over worked and under-paid.

No one was available to help me. I walked around for awhile. Then went to front to find out red mulch was outside and Id have to drive around to get it. Again no one to help. Loaded a bag wasnt feeling comfortable and the receipt number wasnt matching finally a man came. Ugg. Terrible service.

This was my first visit. I was greeted as I walked in and received lots of help. I was impressed with the variety of plants and prices. Everything looked healthy and I am pleased with my purchase. However, I did notice the Confederate flag on the golf carts used by the workers. Gave me pause.

Ask for help, no one came to help. Someone else (a customer) had to help to find what I need.

Average big box hardware store. There was a lady working on the sales floor that was helpful, but I dont care if the cashier is having a bad day or not! If I ask where something is, and you direct me to three different aisles that I have been down, please show me as I probably not going to see it this time either. About the same as any other big box store

I will never in my life spend another $$$ in this or any southerlands. Them refusing service to those of us who cant wear mask is nothing short of discrimination. Their associates have no right to access anyones medical needs !!!

Sutherlands shelves were just about bare at noon. We just needed tomatoes and pepper plants plus herbs. For herbs I only bought English Thyme. I usually get at least 3 different varieties. They just didnt have much choice. One of the sales clerks said their big shipment had not arrived. I will have to check back in a few weeks but I went to Home Depot and bought a couple of more herbs.

Love to shop at Sutherlands! They have pretty much all that you need when you need it.

Lumber is not stocked totally customer service is horrible no help for my husband whom is disabled in picking up lumber.

They sale topsoil (among other materials, such as gravel) by the scoop on a John Deere tractor. One scoop is supposed to be one cubic yard. Be advised that they only have one person that can operate the tractor and he leaves at 5:00 PM sharp. If you are one minute late, you will have to wait for the next day. The topsoil is good quality soil.

Customer service check out counter girls are very rude. They do not great you, speak to you or even make eye contact with you. Its like you are bothering them to check out there. Regular checkout lines are better when someone is there and u can use them. I honestly avoid this store unless I can get one quick thing and dont need any assistance. If you want decent customer service this is not the store for you.

My home is at this time is undergoing a major renovation. We have to have our electric meter box relocated. When the Entergy personnel came to inspect our box, they informed us what equipment was required and the new guidelines for why. My husband and I went to Home Depot and Lowes and the personnel in the electrical department each told us they did not know about the new guidelines and attempted to get us to purchase something other than what Entergy instructed us to purchase (They also did not have the required meter box that we needed). We went to Sutherland in Pearl and was introduced to the most professional and knowledgeable person I have encountered in a home improvement store, his name is ROBERT CAMPION.👍👍👍 When we described the meter box which the Entergy Personnel had told us to get, he quoted the exact guidelines Entergy had told us, and he also drew a picture of the meter box to assist us with understanding why the guidelines are now in effect. This was important, especially since it had to do with our electrical wiring!!!!!!!!!!! If I could have tipped him, I would have. PLEASE shop here, they are very knowledge and educated. This is what you need when you are buying something for your most important investment. I WILL CONTINUE TO BUY MY HOME SUPPLIES FOR HERE.

Rude, Buddy! Lost My Business Over The Phone! I called to inquire about the inside dimensions for the drawers of the 30x18 Whistler Vanity 1 Door 2 Drawer, Mfg.# WV3018-DL Sku# 5244256. He was condescending and curt with his answers, telling me what you need to do is drive down here and look at them because I am all the way in another corner of the store. As I explained to him that my driving 47 miles to his store was guaranteed to be farther and asked could he not take a tape measure to it to tell me the dimensions. He literally raised his voice yelling, cut me off and was still yelling when I told him he just lost the sale and hung up. Lowes has a very similar product, lesser expensive and they were extremely helpful over the phone. Bonus, three of their stores are closer as well. Bye Bye Buddy.

Customer service is absolutely horrible at this store. You can never find anyone to help you even if they are just standing around shooting the bull with other co-workers. They wont even dare look your way. If you interrupt, they act like you are bothering them. Very discouraging. I would like to shop there more but sometimes, you need help getting items off store shelving or need to ask a question and you can never find assistance from store associates. Wished someone would change that...

I shopped for an hour and got several items. When i got to checkout counter no one would come and check me out so i left the buggy there and walked out.

Check out girl is always rude and always has an attitude looks like they hate their job. you cant find anyone to help you find something and thats because you see two of them hanging out in front of the store not doing anything but talking. SUTHERLANDS IS A RIPOFF WITH EQUIPMENT THAT RUNS ON GAS. SUTHERLANDS WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT THEY WILL NOT TAKE BACK NOR REPLACE THEIR EQUIPMENT THAT IS MADE OF VERY POOR QUALITY. I WOULD GIVE THEM LESS THAN A 1 STAR IF I COULD. SUTHERLANDS TOLD ME AFTER I HAD PURCHASED MY GAS WEEDEATER THAT THEY DONT TAKE ANYTHING THAT RUNS ON GAS BACK. I WASNT TOLD THIS BEFORE PURCHASING THE PIECE OF JUNK. LATER TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD FIX IT FOR $117.00 AND CHANGE. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THE PULL STRING HAD GOTTEN OFF TRACK. I REFUSED TO PAY MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS MALFUNCTIONED IN THE FIRST PLACE.THE SO CALLED REPAIRMAN TOLD ME THAT THE GEARS WERE TORN UP IN IT. IF THIS WAS THE CASE; HE DEFINITELY TORE THEM UP.I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY BUYING EQUIPMENT FROM SUTHERLANDS. Website says they have items in stock. Drive 45 minutes to the pearl location with my trailer only to be told they don’t have those items in stock. Wasted half of my work day.
