Very cute space. They have a chalkboard that has their current seasonal items and a couple of books with their menu. Fresh baked goods, coffees, sandwiches, wine.. you cant go wrong. I had the Caramel mocha iced latte and it wasnt too sweet and very good. The chocolate chip muffin was light and tasty. I got my mom the peanut butter fudge cookie and while small, it packed a ton of flavor. Great coffee spot and friendly staff!

Cute little coffee and tea shop, great variety/selection. My friend said This is the best dirty chai Ive ever had. I had the Surfs Up tea, and we both tried the meat pies, Chicken and Mushroom, which were very good. Great atmosphere, great drinks, yummy food, bathrooms were very clean, whole place was thoughtfully curated. We picked this place because of their small business and local emphasis. Very cool place. I would recommend and I would go here again.

I went with my sister who is a coffee lover and she said it was amazing! She had the season Maple Cinnamon latte. I had 2 different herbal teas. They were spot on! The atmosphere is busy but quaint and welcoming. Staff are personable. Wonderful spot!

This place is amazing. The atmosphere is very nice, along with the owner who is very personable and friendly. It has such an inviting feel. They have a lot of specialty drinks to choose from, all of which are unique and great. Prices are fair. Ingredients and coffee are local and natural. Can’t get much better than this when it comes to a coffee shop. I’ll always stop by whenever I’m in the Jax Beach area.

One of the best coffee shops in the Jax area. I’ve been here for a few days and have visited about 6 different local coffee shops and I would say this has definitely been the best. Amazing carrot cake cookies, and bomb latte.

Great, chill vibe in this little place. Wine is delicious and economically priced at $5 per glass for house wines. Has lots of indoor and outdoor seating too.

Absolutely love this charm of a coffee shop. Had the blueberry white chocolate latte which I love for not being overly sweet and flavored just right and the delicious cheese danish. Would definitely love to keep coming back for coffee and support them. Owner seemed very friendly.

This newly opened coffee shop is a great place to grab a cup of java to go or to sit and work or catch-up with friends.Make sure to ask the owner about the story of the “Round Bird”.

My friend and I wanted a post pick me up caffeine fix early afternoon, and found Round Bird nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a cute coffee shop. We ordered dulce de leche lattes off the winter special menu. I was very happy to find that they offered dairy free milk alternatives. The baked goods looked delicious, especially the big muffins. I wasnt really hungry, and ordered the carrot cake cookies to go with my latte. They were yummy, and the lattes although flavored were not sweet. I actually preferred that they were not sweet so that I could control the sweetness. Our only disappointment was that my friend had not had lunch, and they were sold out of the meat pies that we saw on the online menu before arriving. Ill definitely try them again, and hopefully they will have the meat pies available.

We are eating here right now and so far it is perfect. The lady that took care of us has a cute accent.Maybe she is Australian.

It is a favorite hangout for coffee lovers and a taste of South African treats. The decor is a stunning mix of South African and American modernity. Diners can relax in a beautifully decorated lounge with comfortable armchairs and a familiar display of Guineafowl around the shop. The only thing missing was that typical guinea fowl sound while enjoying a sundowner with a selection of South African wine. Ross and Jacqui, the owners, add that perfect touch of South African friendliness to the mix. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering pies, donuts and my favorite was the Cream Danish. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious, definitely worth the drive.For anyone driving past Jacksonville Beach, make sure to stop for a delicious treat and a friendly chat.

FINALLY!! A proper third wave shop has come to the Jax area. Espresso is really dynamic tasting and milk texture in my cortado was beautiful. Knowledgeable and eager baristas here who know their stuff. Extensive selection of healthy and vegan snack options available. Beautiful job.

We have been going here a couple of times a week the owners and the baristas are very friendly the foods are delicious the cappuccinos are great and the cookies are to die for!!! Very relaxed atmosphere. A Must Go You will not be Sorry!!!

Popped in here on a trip to Jaxx Beach and loved it! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the staff and owner were super friendly and make you feel welcome. Great menu selection of coffee and tea as well as sweet and savory bites. There’s a nook in the back with an assortment of wine and treats to shop from. Hope they franchise and we get one a little closer to home! 😊 Will definitely go back whenever we’re in town!

Great place with good coffee and iced tea but the nitro cold brew was not very good.

Try the Red Bush (Rooibos) tea latte with vanilla syrup, and ask for cinnamon sprinkles and honey drizzle. Simply divine!

I stopped in to the Round Bird coffee shop in Jax Beach to grab a quick coffee and see what they had to offer. This cute little coffee shop is in the location that used to be the Sweet Frog in Jax beach. Apparently the owner is the same they just decided to change things up and do coffee instead of frozen yogurt. I had a medium dark roast cold brew and it was super yummy! There were so many sweet treats to choose from that it was too hard to only choose one! The barista was super chill and explained everything to me about the name of the place and the owners. Their story appears in their menu that is on the counter if you want to know more about them. There was quite a lot of great choices on offer in this quaint little shop. I may have to stop her many many times in order to try them all! It was super clean and the atmosphere was very chilled out. Will be stopping again soon!

Great people running a great shop. Very informative about their products and customer reviews. Can easily be the daily stop or a chance to sit after walking the beach. Try the teas too, great flavors!

Great place honestly and amazing staff they pretty dope people

I first visited Round Bird last Tuesday. I have already been back 3 times within the last four days.Its that good.And the fellow feeling is equally as enjoyable. Come with a caffeine and meat pie craving- leave with a smile and a full belly.

Ordered salted caramel macaroons, lemon cake slice, and a peach brown sugar muffin. All three tasted great. Nice selection of crafted drinks and coffee. I would add a light version of the iced coffees for individuals with gastrointestinal issues. That’s a major plus to attract clientele in addition to the gluten free/vegan options. 😎

One of my favorite places! Great staff, great drinks, and great food! I love that they source their coffee and many of their food items from other local Jacksonville businesses. Tried one of the meat pies and WOW it was worth the wait. If you haven’t tried this place, you should.

Adorable new coffee shop with a South African touch in Jax Beach. Comfortable space, including plenty of outlets for those who desire to work while they enjoy their coffee or tea. Their chocolate raspberry latte is just the right amount of sweet and their hot and iced tea options are delightfully unusual. Plenty of parking in the area and a mere few minutes drive to the beach.

What a nice Coffee/Tea shop! They have a bunch of different types of drinks and pastries. I cant wait to try them all! The owners are very nice and so are the cashiers! There is a nice sitting area and nice lighting. Very relaxing and i will be coming back!

Beautiful coffee shop with a unique point of view. Excellent staff and great owners warrant five stars, but what really makes this shop stand out is the quality and creativity of their products. From excellent Southern Grounds coffee, to premium Yum Cha teas, jams from Black Box, muffins from The Ugly Cupcake, fabulous meat pies, and unique lattes, this place is a stand out. Looking forward to my next visit.

Quaint little coffee shop in Jax Beach! We got the Latte and Cortado and both were very good! It would be nice if there was a little bit of art on our coffee like what we saw in some posts lol. But there was only one person handling the cash register and making the drinks. It was a busy Saturday afternoon so we understood.

Roundbird is an awesome, comfy, and unique coffee shop. Filled with South African coffee and snacks, it is something Jacksonville has never had before. The owners are so kind and down to earth.

We had: Shepard’s meat pie, Cornish meat pie, sausage roll, cold brew, and a rooibos cappuccino. All of it was great, the pastries especially. I think the sausage roll was surprisingly my least favorite mainly as it was really flaky. We couldn’t decide which meat pie we preferred. My boyfriend had already had a couple coffees when we went so he got the rooibos cappuccino as it’s caffeine free and it was really good - more like tea than coffee but so yummy. I had the cold brew and was pleased in the flavor as I’ve found many coffee shops have really milky, un-coffee-like cold brew.
