I have never had a better experience! Bill and his staff were professional, accommodating, and super friendly. I had been in and out of several furniture stores on the hunt for the perfect small sectional and what sealed the deal here was incredible customer service, as well as a MASSIVE inventory to chose from!Bill took the time to walk the store with me, measure furniture, listen to what I was looking for and then deliver. From the time I entered the facility until I left, the staff here at Major was just amazing.I would recommend Major Furniture & Appliance over anyone else here in Jacksonville. Great family owned business. They have some of the best customer service that I have ever encountered. They really pay attention to the customers needs, and help to fulfill them. I recommend anyone buying furniture to at least give them a visit to see what they have to offer.

My parents shopped here when I was a child. I remember everyone always being helpful, willing to talk, and overall a nice place to shop. As an adult I still love to shop at Majors. They remember my parents and I. I have always been pleased with not only my furniture but also the process. I will continue to shop with Major and will suggest it to my friends.

8-22-2020 After an attempt to deal with one furniture company in Jacksonville, my husband and I returned home feeling as if we had not been accomodated. We were pushed toward furniture that was not even close to what we wanted and anything we saw we liked, was not in stock...even though it was on the floor. Prices were ridiculous.....4000.00+ for 3 pieces.Tom, greeted us at Major Furniture and listened and was not pushy or trying to change our mind about what we wanted. The 3 piece living room group was exactly what we were looking for. Excellent customer service and discounts cut the price from the other store in half. Very satisfied and will go there FIRST next time. 👍

We were greeted by an older man and told him we simply wanted to browse. He showed us around but then proceeded to stalk us and intrude in our space. It was too invasive. He also did not know his furniture when asked where something was made. I wont be going back due to poor social skills and sales presence.

I’ve spent the past 2 days searching the internet and all of Jacksonville for furniture. Off all of the stores and places my wife and I looked Major not only has the best prices as is, the staff was extremely knowledgeable on their products as well as how patient and willing they are to work with you and for you to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. We were helped by Tom who was great and Major was also there and he is one of the few good business owners in Jacksonville who looks to take care of the military members and their families. I will never look for furniture or appliances anywhere but Major.

Absolutely amazing costumer service. We bought our couches from them 8 years ago and could not remember the brand. We called and they still had the info for us and were so helpful. Also the couches we bought from them almost look brand new, eight years and five kids later. They have quality furniture that will last.

First, clearly understand they were in the process of an after hurricane recovery renovation while remaining open for business, however, that should not negate providing decent customer sales service. Having recently returned to the area we drove by and remembered Majors from the first time we were here in JVille (30 years ago) and decided to stop in as we were in the market for solid wood furnishings. Walked the entire store and spotted a few items of interest but not a salesperson in sight. Appreciate not being accosted then hounded by a sales rep yet some sort acknowledgement during the 30 minutes of perusing would have been acceptable. Waiting until a customer has exited to chase them to their vehicle is not how a store should want to be remembered.

I always buy from Majors, honest and always has what I need. I shopped around for a high enough love seat with nail head trim and knew that if I ended up at Majors he would have exactly what I needed and he did. Helpful and trustworthy this is why I continually shop here (over 30 years).

I met with billy, and he was so kind and compassionate with the hurricane destroying my bed. He made me smile this week with his kind words. I would recommend anybody to go see him and his dad!

Always friendly and helpful folks. I am a repeat customer. Prices are lower than others with the same furniture and the financing is easy! Extra nice that my 4 year old daughter looked forward to visiting because of the balloons. They did not have any out with her favorite color, so they blew up one for her. Made her day!

I have lived in Jacksonville all of my life and have always bought from Major. I tried another big retail store.....ONCE. This store is family owned and has that personal service that you really cant find anymore. The prices are more than fair and the service after the sale is second to none.

I was very impressed with how much they worked with me in helping me get all set up with a Living room, Dining room, Bedroom set. Customizing the set was SUPER easy and little to no cost variance and even gave me a loaner dining room set while mine was on order. I thought i was going to have to shop around for days to find great deals but they have it all.**MILITARY FRIENDLY**I will shop with him from now on and recommend to all my friends!

Purchased as a black leather sofa and love seat set just a little over a year ago. A very nice looking set! I had some issues with my sofa and Bill quickly resolved my issue, taking a vested interest in my concerns and got me a new sofa no questions asked. Hands down, the best Furniture Store in the Jacksonville area! I had my whole home furnish through Majors due to the great deal given to me directly from him. I received excellent service and highly recommend them. Theyre AWESOME!

Greg was very nice, patient and helpful. We bought a microwave for over the range. We did have to work on finding an installer that would come to New Bern, but the purchase of the unit was an easy, relaxed experience. We will be back for furniture in a few months.

Called to inquire if they sell bunk beds was looking for a specific style. Didnt want to have to drag 3 kids into a store if they didnt have what we were looking for. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and responded telling me that she didnt know what styles they had. I said okay can I speak to a sales person, like I have with every other store Ive called today. And she said theyre busy helping paying customersOkay. Ill take my money else where.That woman was beyond rude.But I will recommend rose brothers furniture. Not only did they have what we were looking for but also had it at a great price!

We bought furniture in march of 2017.when we went to pick it up they tryed to give us manual instead of electric(which is what we ordered)ended up having to take the one off the sales fliir.in october of 2017 it has a rip in the leather.i called.it is now january 2018 and its still not fixed.heard every excuse possible. The repair lady is busy,we dont have a truck to come get it.etc.today they were suppose to come and because it snowed-welcome to a 4 season weather system- they didnt start working til 12.and if i have to hear let me talk to Majir one more time i might scream!!!i have been more than patient.it needs to be fixed or give us a new love seat.i think i deserve it.im tired of the nc way of doing things at a leasurely pace.i dont work that way.this is the way i work.FIX YOUR SCREW UP!!!!
