A big thank you to Adam at Martin Appliances in Jacksonville.Within one day, I had found a new GE range and had it installed in myhome in Green Cove by late afternoon! I was able to view the newrange through an email sent to me by Adam. The entire transaction wasdone without my having to actually visit the store. The technicians,Angel and Dean, were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly withtheir prompt installation. So glad to have found this wonderful Jacksonville business. I will not hesitate to shop with them againfor all my appliance needs, and to recommend them to my friendsand neighbors living in Magnolia Point.

Brandon just delivered our TR7 washing machine. He did an excellent job installing it and went over explaining how it works to my wife. Tena and Heather were excellent from the start of our buying process to having the washing machine installed. My wife already has the washing machine running.

We bought our “new to us” fridge from these guys, and it was a good experience. The collection of appliances they have is very broad. There was also someone checking the temps in all of the fridges which i thought was a good sign of quality control. We have had our fridge for a month now and there aren’t any issues. I also got it tax free for paying with cash. Definitely would recommend checking here for an appliance before the big box stores!

Last minute desperate search for a cooktop led us all over Jacksonville to the Big Box stores (Home Depot & Lowes) with no luck. We decided to check out the smaller, locally owned appliance centers. Tried Setzers first and they were NO help. Walked in to Martins Appliance and was greeted by Adam. He asked what we were looking for & immediately started looking on his computer. Discovered they had a brand new cook top in stock. Took us in to the back room to find it & opened the box in front of us. We were able to purchase & take home the exact same cooktop that we found at Lowes cheaper & faster. We got immediate delivery from Martins where Lowes wouldnt be able to get it to us until September 20th. Would totally go here again. They went above & beyond to help us. Thank you!!!

Okay.So short back story. Bought stacked washer and dryer from Home Depot. Took two weeks to have them ship it. It was 1600 including the dryer duct and power cord and reinforced stainless steel hoses. Well they decided to use Daryl Flood (after they get so many bad reviews) and it came without the hoses. I was told multiple times that I shouldnt sign for anything unless it had all the parts. The delivery guys unboxed it in the middle of the street and upon me not accepting it just put it in the back of the truck. After 2 hrs on customer service and the driver not coming back like he said he would, they came back three days later with this 1600 dollar item destroyed. Im currently asking for a refund.Searched around a lot. Need a stacked washer/dryer because of the space I have available. Walked into Martins. They took me to the back and the first two I see were these stacked ones Ive been searching for. I took one with minor comestic damage that took 500 off the price.Delivery was just 4-5 days. The men who came were really nice and professional and did all they could to install it properly (my floors arent too even). It was an awesome experience. Will definitely try to use them in the future.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wait times for appliances to come in were very reasonable. Not as wide of a selection but I think thats because they sell brands and models that they trust!

We were told by my friend to try Martin appliances for our new kitchen appliances. Adam was wonderful and took his time to make sure that we got everything that we wanted. The prices were fair and he was super super nice. Today my refrigerator and microwave was delivered. The two delivery men did an amazing job installing the microwave and the fridge. They were super sweet, took their time and cleaned up after themselves. They really cared about their work!. I am looking forward to my dishwasher and stove being delivered soon. Went to buy a new dryer yesterday afternoon. 24 hours later, we have a beautiful new Speed Queen clothes dryer, installed and ready to use. Customer service from beginning to end, perfect. Very fair price which included delivery, expert set up and removal of old appliance. Martin appliance will be our go to place for all future appliances and we recommend them highly.

Angel came today and installed a dishwater in our condo. He was super nice and worked really hard! Unfortunately where we live didnt tell him we live on the second floor and he was alone. Having trouble getting answers from them. They redid our kitchen and we were told it would take 4-5 days. I did not know it was on day out of every month. And I have had problems with flooring and granite counter tops, but they got their money so I guess we are not important.

My week started with my double wall oven breaking beyond repair, the week before Thanksgiving...yay. Thankful to have found Martin Appliance in Jacksonville and a wonderful person named Heather! She took the dimensions of our current oven and emailed me choices that would fit. Picked an oven, paid by phone and it was delivered and installed quickly and efficiently today (3 days from phone call to completion), and they hauled away the old! And the overall price for everything was better than the local “big box” stores. Local, family owned businesses are still the way to go🙌

I purchased my second refrigerator in the past 20 years from Martin Appliances.I have an area in my kitchen for a refrigerator that will not accept a standard size refrigerator.The staff at Martin worked very hard to find a new refrigerator that would meet my needs and fit into the small space. They found an excellent refrigerator for me. They had to make multiple calls but they found one!They delivered it to my house and installed the ice maker. My wife and I purchased a scratch and dent washer and dryer from Martin Appliance just yesterday for a much lower price than if we bought them new. Not only was the delivery prompt the next day, it seemed that Ms. Paula, who was coordinating everything for us, had a hell of a day herself to boot. Its amazing what a little courtesy can do, because every time I called with just a hint of understanding for the insanity of her day, I was meet with gratitude and top-notch customer service. If youre buying scratch and dent, you dont tend to expect this kind of service to go with it, and I am just blown away with the service weve received. Martin appliance came through where many other local appliance stores/home centers could not. I spent 8 months trying to get someone to remove and replace a broken, built-in, custom vent fan/hood. Nobody in town could offer or provide a one-stop solution. Thanks to a radio add for Greystone Kitchens, my wife got in contact with Jeff at Martin Appliance. He was out the next day and was able to provide an immediate solution. A new GE Monogram vent fan/hood was installed in no time. Thank you Jeff and your team for being professional, courteous and timely! Looking forward to getting back in the kitchen without stinking up the whole house. Never thought Id have so much appreciation for a kitchen vent fan and a great team that could provide one.

I recently became a first time customer at Martin Appliance. Their staff is great and their service is A+. I had an issue with my GE Dishwasher and the part was back-ordered with GE. Paula from Martin was able to find my part locally and get my washer back in operation much quicker than had I have waited for GE. Martin Appliance stands behind what they sell and to me that makes them a 5-Star business.

My mom purchased a speed queen washer and dryer on Monday February 15, 2016. Associate named Heather said they had some in order and would be in on Thursday February 18 2016. My mom said that was fine. On Saturday February 20 we called to check status. They said they could deliver one day next week. On Monday February 22 spoke with Heather and she set delivery up for Thursday February 25 between 10 and 12. Around 2 I called to find out where they were. I spoke with Nickki, she said she would call me back. She called to let me know they had some problems with earlier deliveries and they could deliver by 4:30 pm. I said thats fine as long as its delivered today. Around 7:20 pm tonight the delivery person named Angel called. I was unable to get to my phone so I called back around 7:50 and he said I was to late. All someone from the business needed to do was communicate with me. They have misspoken the truth every time they open their mouths. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company.

I was looking for a dishwasher to be placed in a space with a built up floor. Martin appliance was the ONLY company that suggested a model that would fit in this space and I ordered it right away. They really know their stuff and I will go to them in the future for all my appliance needs. The big box stores have no idea what they are talking about. These guys do. highly impressed with their knowledge. I also asked for the dishwasher to be dropped off when it came in, and it arrived at my front door the next day free of charge. Great service.

My wife and I wanted to purchase our new washer and dryer from a local family owned business. The purchase process seemed OK and delivery and installation went well. After using the new washer, I felt the noise level was excessive. I called Martin Appliance to request service. They were very hesitant to come out and tried to convince me this noise was normal via the phone. When they finally agreed to send out a service tech, they gave me a 10am-2pm window to show up the following Monday 1-11-2016. That was yesterday. Not only did no one show up, they never even called. I waited to 4:30 pm before calling the store. No one answered. They wasted my entire day. As far as I am concerned, Martin Appliance has shown the utmost contempt for this customer and my time. There is no excuse for this. If this was an oversight on their part, it demonstrates a serious lack of organization or supervisory oversight. The other alternative is that they got my money and just do not care and hope I go away. Either way, they have lost my future business and that of everyone else I can persuade to avoid them.

These guys are are great and our family has been using them for many years. We purchased all of our kitchen appliances from them, which meet our needs and are still working well after 5+ years of everyday use. We also have a washer and dryer that we bought from them that work great too. George is very knowledgeable and was able to save us a lot of money on our dryer. The electronics got zapped during a thunderstorm, but we were able to take it in to the store for repair. They were able to fix the existing board rather than having to buy a costly new one. That allowed the dryer to function for several more years. These guys are honest and work very hard to give their customers a fair deal.

The ladies in there are awesome! I was looking for a specific part for my appliance and they were very helpful and had exactly what I needed. Nothing like anew old fashioned good and honest appliance store.

Buyer Beware....I purchased a used washing machine from these people. They took my old one, which was a top-load Kenmore from 2006 when they delivered the used one I purchased from them...An older Kenmore top-load from the late 90s (I think).Getting the thing delivered was a nightmare, the delivery guy was sent by himself and he and I had a heck of a time getting it upstairs, but with a 3 year old, I could not be without a washer, and a new one was too expensive.Fast forward 5 months, and the motor starts smoking. George wants to charge $75 just to come out and see what is wrong with it. I can see it not having a warranty past 30 days, but to charge a premium just to pinpoint the issue is really wrong.I am happy to pay for an actual repair, but if I had $75 to just throw away, I would not have gotten a USED washer in the first place. I feel they took advantage of me, probably turned a nice profit on my old washer, and hung me out to dry on the used one they sold. If you buy from these people, better be sure whatever you purchase comes with a solid warranty.

We purchased a used refrigerator from Martin Appliance. The initial delivery was late due to mechanical difficulties with the delivery truck. They did however deliver early the day after scheduled delivery. The 1st week we had it we discovered that the unit was not cooling properly and called them for service. Service was prompt, and it was determined at that time the unit was not repairable and would need replaced. I purchased the unit Sept. 11, it is now Oct. 1 and I am still waiting on a replacement. I have spoken with everyone all the way up the chain to managers for the past 2 weeks. Communication is apparently lacking because each individual I speak with time and time again has no idea there was ever a problem or that we are due a replacement unit. I was promised (again) a new unit by today. I called in at 4:15 PM and spoke with another individual who again was not aware I was in need of a replacement unit. I believe I will choose to spend my money elsewhere in the future.UPDATE: They called me back finally around 5 PM. They had not refrigerator that was comparable to the one I had already purchased. So I was forced to pay the difference on a new one in order to get one delivered.As far as I see it their lack of inventory is not my problem. They promised to replace the junk they originally sold me with a same or better unit. They did not stand by what they said and I paid for it (literally). I had tons of food go bad because of this fiasco. So, in addition to the couple of hundred bucks I lost in food I also had to spend even more on a new unit. Hind sight, I should have demanded a refund and purchased a brand new one from a different local supplier.

Being an Industry Partner of Martin Appliance Family I have known Jeff and Rob for years. So when I needed help moving a washer/dryer combination from an apartment my Wife and I were vacating I called upon Jeff. Jeff, Nicky and Angel were wonderful in the manner each performed. Everything was done exactly as I was told, exactly when I was told it would happen. We were treated as a part of a family (Family) instead of an annoying customer. My dryer recently died so I called Martin Applianves and spoke with Nikki. She was friendly and helpful. We went to the store and purchased a new washer/dryer and pure water system. They were knowledgeable and fast. They set delivery in two days. When the product arrived at the house the installer was fast, clean, and very efficient. I would recommend them 100% of the time.
