I had another well known glass company come out to my house,never got a call back for a quote and called there 2x. Heard about Baker Glass and was very impressed! They came a few daysafter I called to get a quote and not even 2 weeks later I have new glass for my bathroom windows,one for a broken kitchen window and a shower glass panel for remodel .Thank You Justin and your Team!!!!

A good friend posted this to his social media page today. If he feels this way and by looking at the reviews, most people do, it would be a safe bet to stay away from Baker Glass. In any case, I hope they resolve this issue as he is well known at the beach and word of mouth travels fast. People tell between 9 and 15 people about a bad experience. Some as much as 20. About 4-6 with a good one. Just some food for thought.

I wish I could give negative stars. This company is a joke. We remodeled our bathroom and used them to install the glass on our new shower. We picked them since we were selling our house and needed the remodel completed before closing and they had the quickest turnaround. Strike one was when they came to install they had ordered the wrong size glass. Mistakes happen and they said they would rush order the right size. When they came back to install, we immediately noticed the shower door was completely crooked after they left. Just terrible work. Called the next day and they said they would send someone out to look at. A lead Forman came out and confirmed it needed to be redone, but unfortunately with a week until closing they couldn’t fix it properly without us having some of the tile replaced. They came back once more and straightened it the best they could, but still noticeable. I must have called to speak with the owner at least 10 times before I finally got a call back a month later. The most condescending, unprofessional person I’ve ever spoken to. Unapologetic and clearly knew none of the situation nor cared to. I couldn’t even get a sentence out without him having some lame, sarcastic response. He offered a $200 credit. Absolutely laughable and offensive. We declined. The sale of our home almost fell through due to their poor workmanship and he could have cared less. Stay far away from Baker Glass.

I called Baker Glass Company to replace a shattered sliding glass door. They came out and quoted an estimate. Days later they returned to replace the glass.I was informed that the job was completed and that I needed to process the payment. I did so with the belief that the job was completed properly and professionally.Upon inspection of the work that was completed, I noticed that there was a very visible gap between the glass sliding door and the door frame. This gap was not there before. The glass seal was not flush. It was protruding from the side of the glass, which tells me that it was not installed correctly. The glass they used to replace the shattered sliding door doesn’t appear to be of the same quality. It doesn’t look like it has the same thickness.In addition, they left broken glass from the shattered door on the ground and concrete slab. Mind you, a young child lives in this residence. They did not leave a clean work area at all. They left foam, paper, and other trash on the ground from removing the shattered glass door.I asked them to return to address the discrepancies and clean the area. When they returned they stated that they used a carpet to catch the broken glass. I asked if they used anything else to catch or retrieve items that fall outside of the carpet cover area. They stated no. When I mentioned that the broken glass was a hazard for the small child, they said they didn’t know a child lived there. But should that even matter? The glass wasn’t there before they started the job. And it should NOT be there after they finished. They swept up the remaining glass and used a knife to cut off the protruding seal.I visited the office to discuss my dissatisfaction of the work perform. The supervisor/manager that I spoke to was not very helpful. I expressed that broken glass was left on the ground by his workers. He stated, “They can’t be responsible for getting all the glass up.” That was interesting to me because when they returned they swept up the excess glass after being asked by me to do so. In addition, the manger didn’t give me the opportunity to tell him how much broken glass was left behind before he started to defend his workers. It was obvious that he was not going to listen or address any of the issues.I am disappointed with the lack of professionalism of the workers and the management. I do not recommend Baker Glass to anyone. I will never use their services again and I will not recommend them to my friends or enemies. I now understand why people call Lee & Cates. That’s what I should have done. And I suggest you do the same.

Took my 03 Silverado there to get the windshield removed and resealed but it broke during the removal (which is very likely and not their fault) they quoted me 175 if the glass doesnt break or 250 if it did and they replaced the glass. The new glass is crystal clear and amazing. I dropped my truck off the night before after hours and it was done the next day

Wish I could give 0 stars. I called on 06/15 about a shower enclosure estimate and scheduled an appointment for 06/17. They showed up on time and took all the measurements and said that someone would call me with the estimate either that afternoon or the first thing the next morning. It is now 6/24 a week later and I have not heard a pep from this place. If their motto is no one treats you better I sure would hate to see who would treat you worse. Customer Service is supposed to be the most important value in a company and this one fails miserably.

Great Service, Great Price. When Safelite Cancelled my appointment because of lack of personal. The guys at Baker were half of the price & was done with my truck in 3 hour.

I will never use Baker Glass, completely rude and unprofessional. I did not use their service but On my way home one of their drivers rolled down their window on the highway and threw something out, hitting my windshield and cracking it. I politely tried to signal the driver with no luck then when I reached out to them by phone I got transferred multiple times and talked to the owner who was very rude and said if it’s a big deal than to go through my insurance and figure it out myself. He also told me that he wasn’t going to even attempt to be helpful. The way I was treated just shows how this company lacks character and respect to others property.

Called for estimate on new windows for my front door. Gentlemen were on time to measure and explain the procedure. Said someone would call the next day with website to use to pick glass to finalize estimate. Eight days later I called and was put on hold for the guy who handled my zip code (32256). After waiting awhile, called back and left a message. It’s now been four more days without a call. Totally unprofessional.

A little busy when I showed up. Took about 15 mins to talk with someone. Took A little while longer for the guy to come out and inspect the windshield just to tell me it didnt need to be fixed. But they were very friendly.

My car window was replaced in less than 30 minutes in my driveway. They also give the gift card for a steak dinner which is great. When I called around for quotes Baker Glass was almost $100 cheaper than other glass companies. I have used them twice now and think they are great!

UPDATE 11-12-18: I am adding the pictures of the window installed by this company 3 years ago, UGLY! this has been like this like for 2 years now, the company didnt change it and dismissed the warranty, offered to change it if I payed $200 for handwork with the foot note of it could happen again... Beware dont give your business to this people they wont commit with you after they get your money. And I dont get their answer we charge just on warranty glass, dont you warrant your product? Do you see the window you installed? It looks like a homemade glass assembling. Well that is the image of your work 3 years after.UPDATE-26-18: Received today answer from the company about replacing the glasses, not paying for the glasses but yes $200 for hand work...Decided: IT IS NOT WORTH to do it the result may be as Manager explained It may fog again (thank you for the honesty), also I was asked the reason of my bad review from 3 years ago if the installers were nice then...well it is about service and LONG LASTING RESULTS FOR YOUR MONEY. And thank you to the new owner for offering those promising 2 free steak dinners at Cross Creek steakhouse for my inconvenience, but we really need is A NO FOGGY WINDOW without paying AGAIN for a hand work. Not doing more business with Baker Glass and not recommending them again.UPDATE 1. 04-25-18: AFTER JUST 3 YEARS MY WINDOW IS FOGGED AND THEY DONT REPLACE IT, THEY GAVE ME THE PRICE FOR A NEW ONE.Sorry guys I have to be honest here, called almost 2 weeks go to fix a broken window in my house, very attentive the gentleman on the phone, next day they were here measuring the window to replace, and next day I received the call from the office informing about the price (3 days here in this process, ok I understand it), I was informed that the window will be in their office in 3 days after order it, so on Wednesday they says that the next Tuesday they will come home to install...well, nothing of that, I had to call them back on Thursday asking what happed, and the same nice guys voice and surprise told me that they forgot to ask for my window and that I was a forgot customer...ye, I was upset on the phone, and more when the gentleman that apologized several times told me that the next week they will come finally to install the window...I had to travel and I couldnt...after moments of upset discussion, he finally said that the next day they will come to fix my window. The installation was fast and well done, the personnel was very nice and attentive, but sorry guys again, the support back in office is very disappointing and I wont work with this company again...My husband was very surprised for my experience, because he said that this company has been a lot of time around, but I was informed that this company has a new owner and that this kind of situations were more often and common lately.

Called requesting a special type of glass for my home windows. They assured me over the phone that they had what I was looking for. Set up for someone to come out to take measurements in between 12-3.They showed up an hour early which was fine but strange. When I told the two representatives what I was looking for they told me they most likely could not get me what I was looking for and they told me three times that its quite expensive, as if to imply I couldnt afford the glass that I already knew was difficult to find. I was referred to them by someone who had gotten the glass from their company without issue.They took measurements in about one minute, obviously in a rush to leave, and said if by chance we can do it well call you tomorrow. Well, that was yesterday. Complete waste of time and Ill spend my money with someone else.

Had a flawless experience at Baker Glass replacing the windshield on my vehicle. Called early in the morning to get a quote and timeline for work, spoke with Van who was very informative and helpful. He confirmed they could order the replacement windshield and have it at their shop by early afternoon. I dropped my car off at their shop at 1:30p and it was ready before 3pm. Vehicle was returned clean and they even saved the passes that were attached to the windshield I had replaced. To top it off, per their promotion, I got a voucher good for steak dinner for 2 at the local steakhouse. Thanks Baker Glass!

It was my first visit today. I had two quotes for a window repair and both were over $900. Baker did my repair in about 15 minutes for under a $100. Excellent customer service. Finally, a business that understands great customer service for good prices. I will go back every time for my auto glass needs!

I saw Baker’s commercial on tv. I called my insurance company and they recommended another company but were fine with us using our own choice. We wanted to give our local business a try and we are happy we did. The technician was on time, quick and efficient. This was our son’s first experience with windshield replacement. The tech provided him with guidance and what to look out for. Kudos to him for his patience.We will definitely use Baker in the future.

Poor service and poor customer service and poor on a service very dissatisfied with the response I received for a very bad job he did a awful job on dresser drawers that had mirror fronts and I was very disappointed in the entire experience I promised myself and three other people Ill never go there again and Ill send nobody, his employee messed up my drawers and then he upheld the messy job, and just dismiss me by saying that you get your money back I think it was handled very poorly no customer satisfaction other than getting the money back but I waited a month and a half for them. He wrote a response to this post informing me that there was no record of this sale however his employee did not write up a ticket on it and he put the money in his pocket so when I complain to the owner he did the same thing because he helped him clean up the mess they made and then told me maybe I might need to take it someplace else and he pulled out the money from his pocket to refund me thats why it shows no receipt of me ever being there

This company came to my home to install a shower door. They drilled into a pipe in the wall and we had to shut off the water to the house for hours. We had a plumber come to fix the pipe. Days later, when they could fit us in their schedule, they came back and installed the door. They did a horrible job of caulking around the door and my husband had to show them the areas they missed - twice, because he didnt do it right the first two times. Baker Glass refuses to pay for the plumber or to repair the wall that had to be cut into to access the pipe. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Only giving a one star because I have to to leave this review.

Only asked my insurance if they covered for the free steak dinner, well that was Sept and no steak dinner after calling 5times and service was not great. Windshield leaked first rain and was told to bring it in,but I called to have replaced at my house. Will use anyone but them, I would ha e usedto recommended but not anymore.

I had some glass replaced in my home windows, and Jacob did a fantastic job. Very professional, quick and efficient. The quality of glass from Baker is noticeably better then the builders grade that was in there, and Im very satisfied. Jacob even cleaned all my windows for me!!

After calling my insurance company and getting a windshield replacement date of at least a week out on our Jeep Wrangler, I called Mr. Van at Baker Glass. They were on Allstates approved vendor list. The team worked us in and had a new windshield installed in less than 24 hours. Jay and Logan did a great job installing it. TERRIBLE!! I was house sitting for some friends when the front door glass shattered. I live in an historical area so the glass was oval and beveled so I needed to find a company who could make this glass at a reasonable price (I am a single mother of 4 children in school full time and working full time so I do not have the means to pay for something NOT in my budget) Baker glass was very kind to work with me and they said they could order the glass with me just giving them my bank card number without charging me a percentage to order. I said Thank God I dont have this money, when my friends get back into town we will figure out if they are paying or if the home owners insurance is going to pay. I should have canceled my card right then and there... They called about 4 to 6 weeks later and said the glass was ready, I said okay awesome, dont run that card number it is getting paid by other means other than myself. THAT night at 6pm they ran my card for $265. It threw my bank into the negative. It took all the money from me that I was suppose to give my new apartment the next day to hold a place for my family and I to live. I called the company and they absolutely did NOT care!! I went to the bank, the bank tried to help me but they couldnt as I stand right now I am $500 in the NEGATIVE because of this glass company and all they could say was I am sorry! So now I cant even cash my work check at the bank and pay my rent. I am furious beyond measure and no one seems to care. I will NEVER use this company again because I have been dealing with this for 4 months and I am so broke I cant even put gas in my car all because this company ran my card without calling and asking me first!

Probably one of the most inept and unorganized companies that I ever dealt with.They came by to fix our window and forgot certain instruments for the job. Came back later after realizing they forgot to measure the window. Came back a third time to fix it but forgot to install the screen after the were told twice about it. Came back a fourth time and guess what, they brought the wrong screen size.Now waiting for them to schedule a 5th visit, which will be next week. Something tells me it wont be the last one.I think they may be doing this on purpose to overbill my landlord. Would give them 1 star but thankfully I am not paying them or scheduling this, otherwise Id have a better idea of their incompetence.Edit: As mentioned above, since I did not pay for this, I am obviously not the landlord. I will not list his name on this review, because I didnt ask for his permission to list his name, but this is a property off of Belle Rive Blvd.Also, I am sad to add an update, they finally came and installed the screen and it is too small (so after 4 attempts they still got it wrong), it barely stays in place, so if we open the window, large insects can crawl in through the cracks around no problem. At this point, I have given up on pestering my landlord to reach out to them and will have to settle with this result. I will also be downgrading this review from a 2 to a 1 star.
