Set up a windshield replacement on Saturday; they couldnt send anyone for 5x days. I patiently waited the 5x days and I could not drive my vehicle during this time. On the day of repair, they called me to let me know they could not repair my vehicle because their van broke down. I called 3x times to try to make contact during the day, but no one would call me back. The next day they text me to let me know, they could re-schedule me for Monday (this would mean 5x more days of waiting). In the meantime I called Advanced Auto Glass. They had my windshield repaired in less than 12 hours of my call. Dont waste your valuable time at Glass America.
I had so much trouble trying to book a Safelite appointment that I searched for a different company. Glass America through Gerber Collision & Glass, came with good reviews, was a better quote, was convenient, extremely easy to make an appointment, and provided excellent service all around. Your technician went above and beyond and I appreciate that. Thank you Glass America.

Neil was very friendly. He followed up his call with a text which was very convenient since I’m on the phone for work most of the day. He arrived with a smile, explained what he was going to do, delivered quick results and cleaned up after the job was done. He took an extra minute to make sure I was satisfied and asked me to confirm my email for receipt. His attention to detail was impressive. You’ve got a great employee with Neil- I hope I don’t need your services again but if I do I certainly hope to find Neil’s smiling face at my front door.
Our windshield was shattered on our drive to Jacksonville, FL from Ft. Lauderdale (a 5 hour drive). This happened on a Friday at 8:30pm. No company had the windshield nor could they get it before Monday. We had to stay another night in Jacksonville instead of driving home on Sunday as planned. Glass America said they could have it on Monday and could most likely get it replaced be early afternoon so we could get back home. The representatives from Glass America were all very understanding and extremely pleasant and helpful. Our technician Manny was just a great young man. He called by 9:30 Monday morning and said he would be at the hotel in 30 minutes. He was very nice, personable and knowledgeable. He said that in the event we have a problem once we are back home, he would assist us in getting service. would recommend him and Glass America to anyone!!! Superb service. Thank you!!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. It is completely unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment at 8am, they said they would be out that day by 6pm, someone would call me an hour before. I ended up needing to call at 2pm and give my husbands phone number because my cell was dying and I was out. No issues. 5pm comes around no call, ok maybe they are behind. Waited until 6pm, nothing. Tried calling the office, no answer, I left two messages. My husband had to take the next day off and miss work because of this gross lack of communication. Called at 8am to speak to a manager, made another appointment. A Miranda called later around 930am to say they needed to cancel the appointment because they dont have the windshield. So they had it yesterday, but not today? Whatever. Tried calling back to explain why I was so upset. No one had called the prior day, we could have called another company had we known and my husband had to take an extra day off from work, losing money. There was no apology, nothing. Overall just a terrible, terrible experience.
I called & set up an appointment needing it done the same day & was told it was no problem & i would get a call back in about an hour. 45 minutes later, i got a call saying they were overbooked. Very unprofessional & time wasting.
Waited over a month for Safelite to get a new windshield for my car, so I decided after a month of run around I would look for someone else. Glass America instead was very professional. I requested a OEM windshield within a week glass America had and installed. They called me with updates and the installer was great. Definitely recommend Glass America!!
Great job at installation, nice guy that installed it, however now I have dark stain marks on my light gray headliner and visor areas. Disappointed that this couldn’t have been done without staining my vehicle that is brand new.

I would give 0 stars. Very inconsiderate, never told me that there was a cancellation until I called....TWICE. The first lady said they would get out today, and forward to the Manager. She never called back, and I called and they said tomorrow. So I called my insurance again, and somehow Michael (who is rude and told me to stop talking so he could talk,) canceled my appointment. Then all of a sudden instead of tomorrow, its 2 days out. I would never suggest this company. They are very unprofessional, and take jobs that they know they cannot properly fill.

1 star is generous. Replacing driver door window was a 4 month process. They have the poorest customer service Ive ever had the misfortune of experiencing. First tech was shady and wanted me to cancel with GA and pay him cash prior to him obtaining the glass to replace. We declined. When he showed, he appeared to be on something. He replaced the glass and then told us his vacuum was being repaired by his boss so he was unable to vacuum the glass from inside the door frame or the drive way. After he left, we noticed the door handle wasnt sitting flush against the door anymore and the window appeared to be scratching from the glass inside the panel you could also hear the glass rattle every time you shut the door. We called a out the issues a few times before we were able to get a response. They sent another tech 2 weeks later to repair the issues. Upon his inspection, he advised the door panel, door handle and window/lock controls panel was all broken. He advised he wasnt going to try and do any repairs because all of that would need to be replaced. So the parts were to be ordered. I would call in weekly to check on the status and it was like pulling teeth to speak with anyone other than someone saying management would call by day end which never happened. Weeks went by with nothing so I demanded contact info of managers. I obtained 2 numbers for them and me reaching out to them was the only contact I ever received from them. It took nearly 4 months for them to get the parts needed to fix their damage. The 2nd tech came back and replaced the parts on our vehicle. All seemed ok at first glace but after he left and we drove it, there were issues. The door wouldnt even lock anymore, the window/lock control panel was sticking out of its fitted slot and you could see plain as day that the panel wasnt fitting properly on the door. Also, we have a King Ranch Expedition with Saddle Leather on the door panel. Well, they had to replace all of that and you could totally see staples in it where it appeared they took some generic panel and stapled the leather to it. Called again to file complaint, was told someone in warranty would call me, 2 days with no call I called another manager. He had someone come out a few days later to check it out. It was a new tech we hadnt seen before and he advised that it appeared the locking mechanism they ordered to replace it was for the passenger door so thats why it wasnt fitting properly. All he had to do was bend it to line up correctly and that fixed the issues with the exception of the ridiculous staples showing that I guess we are stuck with. I wish I had gone with Safelite. Theres a reason GA is so much cheaper. You get what you pay for. The only compensation for my 4 month disaster is knowing the company had to pay $1K for parts to repair the door they messed up. Just to mention, the last tech was great and very honest. He was literally the only person to apologize to me for such a hassle and poor customer service.

I talked to two different people that were suppose to call me back to schedule a glass replacement. I had to call a 3rd time to check on the status. Nothing had been ordered. My suggestion is call Safelite.
