Technician came out, did inspection, removed glass . Said he couldnt repair . Refused to install and stole old windshield took it with him when he left . Left me and the wife stranded with no way to move vehicle in the rain. Called glass USA the were excellent and repaired with no issues . Worst service I have ever experienced . Have been advised yo seek legal counsel. Will update .

I made an appointment for the technician to come out between 12-5 pm. He showed up at 8:30 am. I really didn’t think anything of it and assumed he had all the correct information with my insurance and the authorization. I get a call an hour later from safelite and this employee is informing me that my authorization hasn’t come through yet and is asking me if I want to cancel or reschedule the appointment, if not I would be responsible for 400 for the replacement. When I told her he was already there and almost done she said he should not have come out there without the authorization, etc but now I will be responsible if I don’t get my insurance to reimburse me. absolutely ridiculous I was even asked to pay for something that was not authorized in the first place. The glass I got also has a warped part right in front of the drivers side, but it’s useless trying to resolve anything with them so i’m taking the L. Do not use safelite.
My only complaint is the way my car was parked after my car’s windshield was completed. The waiting room was very comfortable, there was a lot of seating, a clean restroom and the refreshments were great! My car’s windshield and recalibration was completed sooner than I was expecting it to be and the guy that completed the work was friendly. But, the way my car was parked after the service was wrong! Park in the lines so I don’t get a dent or paint chips or damage my axle! Seriously except was great except for the parking, don’t let a customer leave with a bad park job like this!
Customer service was great! The service rep was awesome. However. It took about 4 hours to replace the windshield. No worries. But. I left and didnt realize till the following morning that my windshield wipers did not work. This was a huge problem as I travel for work and had no way to work. My boss was very unhappy.Upon arrival at the location I found that the service techs are being rushed to finish work. They are short handed and under staffed. Its not the people its the company.Safelite needs to get it together. Quality work is a minimum. Safety is top priority! Dont send people home in an unsafe vehicle. Probably wont use again.
Originally I was not happy and super skeptical about rescheduling my windshield appointment with safelite after the last tech blew me off the entire day and only reached out twice via text. However, my insurance partners with safelite so I tried and again and luckily the new tech they sent out, Ballard, was awesome. He was super punctual and professional and seemed super genuine in person. I knew my car was in good hands, and on top of that he was super quick and informative. Highly recommend Safelite, if you get Ballard

My windshield got cracked while I was driving on the highway, & safelite was the first place I contacted to get it replaced. I dropped my car off Thursday night for an appointment early Friday morning, but Friday afternoon my dad got a call that the replacement windshield came in cracked so they wouldn’t be able to fix it until the new replacement came in. I went in to pick up my car, but the lady working told me it would only take 24-48 hours to get the new windshield so I asked if I could just leave my car until the new part came in so they could work on it right away; she said yes. My dad forwarded me an email on Monday that the part was in, but we still had to reschedule the appointment. Okay, cool, I rescheduled my appointment for Wednesday at 11am because it was the earliest available. I worked Wednesday & was hoping to pick up my car after work, but my dad got a text five minutes before safelite closed saying my appointment was cancelled- with NO explanation. Called the local store location & the customer service numbers with NO ANSWER. If my appointment was at 11am & they close at 5pm, why would they wait until closing time to tell me my appointment was cancelled? My dad took me up there with my spare key & I picked up my car, still with a broken windshield after almost a full week. I found a different company, they came & replaced my windshield the next day. Then my dad gets a text saying we have an appointment that Friday, when neither of us scheduled that. The lack of communication & service was abominable.
In the process of replacing a cracked windshield the mobile techinician cracked the frame of our car and acted like it was no big deal stating Its just cosmetic damage. My husband was livid at his response. Upon further inspection the silver bracket that goes across the top of the windshield was not reattached properly and the weatherstripping no longer lies flat to prevent leaks. The technician did not seem concerned at all about the poor workmanship and pretty much just brushed it all off as no big deal. Extremely dissatisfied and hoping the Safelite works with us to fix these damages at their cost.
The customer service was outstanding, I got there on time, and with then 10 minutes the technician came out and introduced himself to me. He explained how long it was to take. It really took less time then what he told. He delivered the car, and explained to me not to put direct water for at least 24 hrs. Safelite has one of the best customer service, I had in long time. I will recommend them to anyone who needs a window replace. Thank you guys.

Repair tech no call, no showed. I spent 40 minutes on hold waiting to speak with someone. The lady who answered at their call center said she couldn’t reach anyone at the local office and couldn’t reach the tech who was supposed to fix my windshield. She sent an email, but no one ever called me back. Safelite has absolutely zero customer service. I wish I had read these reviews before scheduling. It’s a common theme for them to miss appointments and zero communication from Safelite. Even the person responding to reviews doesn’t show any effort to contact their customers. It’s really pathetic.
We called safelight and they were hired to replace a Windshield for a 2020 Escalade. The first day they installed the wrong windshield, then we waited several days and rescheduled for them to come the 2nd time and they never showed up. The third time they came and installed another windshield, but they could not correctly calibrate it, finally on the 4th attempt we took it back to the shop and they fixed it. Took 4 attempts and were paid over $1200. No bargain here, our time is worth a-lot more. They are contracted with the insurance companies so you dont have a choice, they take advantage of that and youre stuck with what you get. Make sure you get the calibrations done correctly - the safety implications are huge.
The tech that came out to replace my windshield was the best. He explained everything he would be doing and after putting in the new windshield he asked if I had any questions and explained what not to do after having the windshield replaced. Very nice guy. His name was David. Very respectful young man.

This company is amazing! My passenger window got cracked by a rock on the highway, I was able to describe the window issue and schedule an appointment all online, too easy! They completed the job in less time than quoted! I highly recommend
First let me say I would not give even 1 star but,, cant leave a comment without it. Safelite in Jacksonville Florida is as unprofessional as any company can be. My vehicle was scheduled for mobile repair and the technician Demetrius never called, text messaged, emailed or showed up for the appointment. Then 2 days later received a text message that my appointment has been rescheduled for another 2 days later. This is ridiculous for the unprofessionalism of service received. I wonder who they think has 2 days just to sit around and do nothing but, wait on them to show up!! I do not recommend them to anybody.
I see in a recent response from 5 days ago when a customer had the same issue as I that your tech no called, no-showed, you were unable to provide help because they didnt have their order number. I had a terrible experience here. I got my windshield repaired in shop because they said my windshield needed recalibration, and less than 24 hours later, it was cracked again, which is no big deal, stress cracks happen. I went back to the location to get it fixed and the tech decided it was a new impact point and stated Ha. Thats bad luck man The GM, Alan I think was his name, came out and pointed to a different spot, stating it was also an impact point. I asked him how he thought it could have happened and he said thats not my problem. I gave them a second chance and scheduled an appointment for the next Tuesday at 8am and received my confirmation text/email. When I showed up to my appointment, they stated that I did not have one scheduled. I then was made to wait 45 minutes while he confirmed and ended up telling me they could not repair it that day. I decided not to go there and the new place (not Safelite) that I went to not only told me they did not find an impact point, but came to my work to repair the windshield. I definitely would look elsewhere in Jacksonville before using this location.

I used Safelite Jacksonville to perform a windshield replacement as a result of damage. The installer came to my office to perform the repair. I walked out to my car as the technician was driving away. On my way home I noticed a ton of wind noise. upon inspection, I realized the installer damaged the gaskets on both of my side molding and neither was secured. They were both visibly loose. I called the office and explained the situation and was told I need to bring the car in for a warranty inspection to verify what parts would be needed. I explained that this was not really warranty work, since the damage was due to installer negligence. Still, the only way to get this repaired is to bring it in. I am sure it will be corrected, but the damage to the molding was easily viewable and there is no way he did not know they were not secured. Now, I have to spend at least part of one day in a waiting room to have this corrected.The molding should have been included with the replacement and the installer should have done the right thing and notified me that he damaged my car.I will not use Safelite again and I suggest using another company.
SHOP AROUND!!! quotes from safelite were more than double the cost of other places. Went elsewhere & replaced my rear SUV hatch window for $202 total.... not $439 +tax/fees as quoted by safelite.

Not only did they break my stock Ford Edge rear view window and replaced it with a cheap one, thus completely breaking my compass, handset and navigation, but they also told me they would reach out to Ford, order a new stock one and replace it for me. It has been 3 months since that appointment and no calls, no contact. No voicemail. At this point I don’t even care about the mirror. I just want to make sure everyone is aware that professionalism and on-time ethics don’t exist with this company. They hire incompetent technicians who don’t know how to conduct a simple windshield change and don’t own up to their mistakes when the damage is done. I can honestly say in all good conscience that I will never use this company again.

Got phone call at 7:50am on a Saturday woke up. (apt not till noon) Called back number rep rude and said its my job to call confirm and hung up. Try to call office to advise complaint and all on phone is make an appt online. Crazy how phones are not working be for 9am on Saturday yet rep call waking up very unprofessional.
Do not go here. This place fried the battery in my car. When I went to pick up my car, they told me that they hadn’t even started yet. Now I know it was because my car was messed up & they needed time to fix it. Of course I can’t get in touch with anyone. We’re filing a lawsuit.
Tech squared us away while on a long road trip got a good sized chip in our windshield. Needed it filled before we hit road again. Done in half an hour- reasonable price compared to a new windshield.
RUN!!!!!Horrible experience. I first connected with Safelite at the end of January to get a routine windshield replaced.1. It took 1.5 weeks for them to come out to fix the glass. The tech brought the wrong windshield.2. The tech then rescheduled me for the following week. I wasnt happy but went along with it.3. 2 days later my appointment gets cancelled ... and forced me to book another appointment which was even further out.4. The tech showed up today with a new windshield that had a foot long scratch down the middle of it that he couldnt install.5. I tried to contact a manager to discuss and no one has returned my call.So I just booked with another local company today and they will have my windshield replaced in about 2 hours from the time of calling them.RUN FROM SAFELITE!!!!
Safelite took weeks to approve my claim or even get in touch with my insurance. They ended up saying I had no insurance because they couldn’t verify previous coverage (doesn’t have anything to do with filing a new claim). My insurance agent telling me safelite needed proof of previous coverage for my claim on a recorded line. I don’t understand why they would ever need that as they are only a repair company but nonetheless I did it. Now that my insurance agent has verified previous coverage in writing and has approved my claim safelite cannot be reached then their dispatcher/receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful as if I was asking for the world. It’s okay. I will also file a complaint with the BBB about this fraudulent behavior. I took my business elsewhere and I would highly recommend anywhere else! THEY DO NOT EVEN GIVE YOU A DISCOUNT FOR CASH! STAY AWAY!

I picked up a tiny chip in my windshield on the drivers side when driving down a gravelly patch on my way to HomeDepot in the Regency area. A tiny rock got flung at my windshield and gouged out a lil bullseye. I was really sad, my car is my baby. Called my insurance and they covered the repair with Safelight.I took Lancelot (thats my cars name) into Safelight. Pleasant, professional and punctual. José Morales rocked the show! He explained the whole process and I was in and out before you could say Jiffy Lube. The chip is barely visible except for a tiny bubble that looks like a bug got squished. I am happy. Big shout out to José. 👏🏾 Give this fellow a raise because he was just awesome, not only with how he treated me and Lancelot but just how sincere and diligent he was at assisting me and fixing my problem. Thank you José, you put the care in customer service.
Left the car unlocked overnight and never got a call that it was ready. I went there to check on it at 10:30 pm, and it didn’t even had any keys inside of it when I picked up. (Dont waste your time calling them because nobody will pick up)
Safelite cut the wires in my car while installing my front windshield. When I scheduled a warranty appointment, someone came out to evaluate the issue but then they closed the ticket as if it was repaired. Ive emailed and called multiple times.
Technician came out to replace my windshield only to tell me that the shop didn’t load the windshield in his truck so he had to drive back to the shop. That’s fine. What isn’t fine is that the technician didn’t reinstall my rear view mirror correctly. So the next morning on my way to work my rear view mirror is shaking so badly that it falls loose. I try calling the store and get an automated message to send an email or make an appointment online. I call Safelite customer service and they tell me this is considered a “warranty” issue so they would try to see me the next night. Meanwhile I can’t safely drive my car! So I cautiously drive my car all the way across town, taking yet another day off work to do so, and when I get there the front desk workers seem shocked that I’m upset about the whole situation. I am understandably frustrated but I never curse or shout at them - I’m stern and short in explaining my situation. The worker tells me to take a seat and they’ll get a technician out to me. I ask how long and she says she doesn’t know. I explain that that’s unacceptable considering the customer service agent on the phone told me to come out today to get it resolved. I don’t have all day to sit around. She then closes the window on me and I hear her and 2 other agents joking about how I can stand at the desk all day and they will get to me when they get to me. Never an apology or anything for my broken rear view mirror! A technician did eventually come out after 15 or so minutes (long enough time for me to file a complaint with the BBB) and had my rear view mirror fixed within another 10 minutes. He said the mirror wasn’t screwed on tightly enough. A simple fix like that for all of this mess!!! This is why after being a loyal customer for 10 years I will never return - what a completely avoidable headache!
If you have vehicle year make of 2021, DO NOT bring it here. They do not have the equipment or expertise to calibrate the onboard safety alert and camera system. After I sat in the there for over six hours, they finally said, they were unable to complete the installation and had me sign a waver. The waver is to not hold them liable for any property damage related to the functions of this system. Bottom line is, dont let your insurance company refer you to this company for your new vehicle. Take your car to the dealership for this repair.

Waited 2 whole months for a windshield replacement . Rescheduled 3 times . First time the excuse was the windshield was never ordered . Second time a week later, drop it off around 7 or so in the morning . Get a call around 11 am, the windshield is on back order . Thanks for letting me know. Didnt hear back from them for weeks. Called and called, never got s response. My own insurance company called, never got a response. Finally they answered back and said it was available ..but the next available appointment was a week out . Great. Finally got it replaced today, only to find out they left some of the glue on the windshield. Staff was nice..thats literally the only good thing in my experience. Would . Not. Recommend. This. Place .

Over a 3 month time span they have brought the wrong window and been 5 hours later than scheduled to my home after I cancelled work for them, and now I had to take a day off to take my car to them at the office to do. They wanted to claim me not having the exact tire from factory is a issue and that means they can’t put a windshield in. Called the dealer he said that’s complete bs and they are full of it . The employees at this office are rude, non apologetic, have zero attention to detail and are borderline incompetent . Wouldnt be doing business with them by choice ever . Unfortunately insurance makes you deal with these clowns.
I have been dealing with safelite since April 2018 about my windshield. The first mishap they came to me with a cracked windshield, it took a month before someone came back to my home to replace my windshield. As the tech takes out the windshield he cuts the liner. He tells me whoever put my windshield in before glued my liner to the windshield. After the installation I contacted them and informed them that I have a wind and rain leak they tell me that Im hearing things I tell them thats a lie because I had my truck for 4 years I know how my truck supposed to sound. So they put side moldings on after I left to go home the molden on the driver side comes off again I informed them. I go back to the shop they put a new cowl on and they found the rain leak and put glue for that & glued that molding back on. As I left again the molden on the passenger side comes off. Again I informed them of that but lets not forget I still have a wind leak. Instead of SAFELITE using a Range Rover glass they are putting in a remanufactured glass AND thats why I am having ALL these problems. They continue to patch/put a bandaid on it. But in the midst of everything my dashboard gets damaged as well. My frustration!!!!! Today is August 11 2018 and my windshield is NOT done properly.

They had all week to let me know..i had to switch with 3 people to get this day off. Now the girl who did my appt was didnt want the manager to know about this. Well im very dissapointed. Im so mad now. But i got another place to do it. I will let CH 4 know about this situation
Super nice place! Very clean and they have free water. Not a big fan of the drop off service because they get to it at some point in the day. However, they let me know ahead of time and said they would call when it is done. If you have a day free, just drop it off and let them fix it.
Had to return for reinstall since the first install resulted with leaks. Not too excited on the glass that was used. Would have much more options of glass going with another installer. Im sure same the same amount would be charged to insurance regardless the glass cost to them.

This is the first time I’ve ever been annoyed enough to leave a review for a business. I made an appointment for a windshield replacement about 2 weeks ago. I arrived, told them I would wait until it was completed. 45 minutes after arriving and checking in, I was finally told they didn’t have my glass in stock. In fact, it still needed to be ordered! Why wasn’t my glass ordered once I made my appointment? Or at the very least why wasn’t I contacted to reschedule before waking up early on my only day off from work to bring my car in for my appointment?I will certainly be bringing my business elsewhere now.
I had my windshield replaced in January of this year for a crack, and it went smoothly enough. Fast forward a few months later in June, and I noticed a long crack on my windshield again. I called Safelite to inquire on warranty, as I just had the windshield replaced. I was informed by multiple representatives that my particular windshield would need to be ordered and that I would be contacted. By August I was still calling to inquire on assistance with my windshield. It might also be helpful to comment that there was a period during this time when the actual auto shop was not answering calls and I could only speak to warranty department. It finally took an email and another phone call to the autoshop for someone to say it needs to be evaluated. When I brought my vehicle into be evaluated, ALL I received was a comment that the crack is another impact and I need to call my insurance if I wish to make a claim. NEEDLESS to say I will not be using Safelite anymore and do not recommend them. They do not deserve my money or business.
They replaced rear window but didnt prep correctly (according to 2nd tech) the window was completely unattached! Could not reach them on any number or by email. Had to call insurance company who had back way to reach them. New tech came out and immediately smelled the mildew from the rain that poured in while improperly installed window was in. Told us they would have vehicles detailed asap, manager would contact. He correctly reinstalled the window but we never heard from the manager and once again couldnt reach them in any way. I would not recommend!
I wish I could go back in time knowing what I know now. Horrible company, I don’t know how they are still in business. First I had to wait over a month for them to schedule an appointment, then they put in my wrong address, so I called them to change it, they didn’t. So I called them again and this time they corrected the address.We finally had an appointment scheduled for 12-5pm. At 5pm I’m extremely frustrated because I just wasted a day at home waiting for this guy, so I call and he tells me he could probably get there in 45 mins but that I need to have a place for him to work in case it rains. Guess what broski, it hasn’t rained the last 5 hours when you were supposed to have been here! So I had to cancel because we had plans and I asked him to reschedule a few days out, he did but rescheduled it at their company’s address so I had to call and once again correct the address. FINALLY the tech arrives! He does the job and goes to leave, I come out to look before he does and notice the window trim literally hanging off my window he replaced. I stop him and point it out, he doesn’t seem concerned. Told me maybe that’s just how it is... at this point I’m getting extremely frustrated, I walk around to the other side and show the imbecile how the window trim does not hang off the other side but instead sits flush. He shrugs and says he’ll take a look at it, 15 mins later I come back out and ask if he fixed it. He says no but that he took some pics and he’ll have his supervisor call me. Days go by and no one calls me, so I start calling. Must of called a dozen numbers and only got Bots. Finally I use the chat feature on their website and get a number from them and actually speak to a real person. That woman told me she’d connect me with the manager, however the manager wasn’t answering so she took down my number for the manager to call me. Once again, days pass and nothing! I’m sick and tired of this horrific display of incompetence. STAY FAR AWAY FROM SAFELITE!!!!
I went to this location on Friday October 30th. Around 10 am it seemed they were behind but they checked me in and I sat and waited. I waited for almost 3 hours until finally someone called me to the desk, they told me unfortunately they did not find my windshield glass and that they would have to call me when they get it in. So I waited 3 hours for them to just tell me they can’t replace my windshield. I don’t blame them that they were behind but please before you make people wait that long, make sure you can do the job. I would suggest calling to make sure they have everything before you go to the appointment....
Need to managed appointments better windshield had a scratch small and that was the second windshield worker called for another the fisrt one had a worst scratch took 1 hour to get that completed replacement reasonably but took 1.5hrs waited after to get calibration done totally 5 hours could have been shorter time more hurry and wait but was happy of outcome except for minor scratches
With my experience they should be rated with negative stars. The brought the wrong window then got the runaround with them so we went with someone else that was more professionalI would not recommend them if they paid me.
I would have given this review a 5, but having to arrive right before they closed to find my vehicle wasnt done yet left me very concerned. A phone call would have been nice to know when to arrive for pick up. The technician came out and asked for us to give him 35-45 minutes to finish up. He came out with the key in under 30 minutes. He explained the window is very large and heavy to get in solo, and needed assistance. I understood being that it was a semi truck window they replaced. I will see once we have a good rain how the work holds up. Thank you Safelite.So Ive been trying to get my window chip fixed for the last two weeks. Yesterday Safelite just sends me a message that a worker didnt show. They took it upon themselves to reschedule my appt the following day from 8am-5pm. There was a reason I scheduled on the weekends. Totally unacceptable. I wont use safelite again unless I absolutely have to.

The waiting room was clean and comfy and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, when the tech brought my truck around there was damage that was not there when I dropped the truck off. The tech denied damaging the truck and said it was like that when I dropped it off. The manager on duty compared the damage to the before service pictures and determined that their insurance adjuster would need to get involved. The manager was very friendly and assured me that everything would be taken care of. Overall, I would give 5 stars for customer service, but theres no way I could rate the workmanship similarly.
Scheduled appointment to have windshield replaced. Technician showed up late. Did a poor job. Rearview mirror wouldnt stay up. Molding around window was not reinstalled properly, caused additional damage. Technician spilled a large area of primer on the driveway that wont come up with solvent and pressure washing. CAN NOT get a return phone call from the manager. And found a discarded razor blade in the drive way. Ive had to take time off work to take my vehicle to the shop. The windshield is still NOT repaired properly, huge gap in the molding. And can not get someone to answer me.how.they are going to fix my drive way.If you use Safelite.. you may need more repairs than you started with. Couldnt be more disappointed especially with the lack of response from the shop.***Took vehicle again to get windshield fixed***Jake from Safelite is awesome! Had an appointment scheduled and no one showed up, was unable to get anyone on the phone. Made another appointment for tomorrow, hopefully they show this time

It took them 6 hours to replace my windshield and recalibrate (3 hours longer than said but I have a Subaru). I was getting impatient but they were still professional and were updating me. They were working hard in this heat, I respect that. I am happy with the windshield.
Operator did not get the info. right. Wrong E-mail, tax free business. Called asked for more assistance on phone...it just rang...no help. When, on line and there is no place for help. Talk to technician and said he would have his boss call me. WOW...I had no problem with Lee & Cates Glass.
Great service and very cautious and careful in regards to Covid-19 right now. Great, fast service. Windshield replaced in less than an hour. So clean and new, it was hard to tell there was something there at all

Safelite came to my house several times (5) to replace my front window. the first four times the glass had either damage or an imperfection. The fifth time there were not issues with the glass, however because the glass was a aftermarket glass my Heads Up Display (HUD) is blurry. I went to the dealership and they informed me that it was because of the glass. I have tried to contact Safelite through phone calls and have not had any success.
They ran me around and changed a mobile appointment to come to them and wait all day the night before the morni g appointment. After I had taken off work and rearranged my schedule. I call them Bait and switch lite. Did all this by text. Very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and use another company
If you have a beater its just fine. If you have an older vehicle that needs that certain attention to detail, take it somewhere else! You will be thankful you did!
Their appointments are a joke. You will wait a looooong time. Glass looks good, but there were a lot of unsatisfied customers there(myself included). Not a good experience at all.
They did a great job installing my windshield and calibrating the camera in less for 3hrs.

The service was excellent. The installer was excellent with follow up calling me at 8:00 a.m. which was the beginning of my 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. window showed up exactly when he said he was going to and did a fantastic job.
Things started off rough, I had a few visits and I didnt have a rear view mirror for over 4 weeks but Courtney came out at the end of the day on a Thursday or Friday. He worked late and fixed the issues the other techs couldnt he was professional and prompt. Big s/o to Courtney, he turned my 1-star review to a 5-star review!
This is my first time getting a windshield replaced. I like that I was able to do everything online. I didnt like the appointment times listed on the site so I called CS to see if there were other options. They offered me the same next day appointment at their location or 5 day wait for mobile. I opted to wait for mobile as their location is not near my office.The day of the appointment the technician Justin, called bright and early to confirm. He called again around 1pm to let me know where I was in the line. Then another call when he was on his way. Since they gave me a 12-5pm arrival time I really appreciate the calls. Justin was personable and very nice. He had the car ready to go in less than an hour. I am very pleased with the work and thier technician.
I called my insurance to replace my windshield. I asked to use safelite, well after they sent out techs 3 times to my house and had the incorrect windshield 3 times I decided to use a different company. I will never use safelite again. Everytime they came out the tech would get my vin. Everytime I talked to the tech to ask if they had the correct windshield they said they did then they wasted my time waiting on them.
They came to my home replaced the front window my car, call Tuesday@4:30 next day 1pm they were their great job thanks guys Paula vance
Very unprofessional company authorized by Geico. It took them 15 days and 8 rescheduled appointments to complete job. When I demanded Geico to provide me rental car under my auto insurance policy then only things started moving and within 3 hours Dynamic sensor recalibration done. Manager and supervisors were trying to protect their technical staff . Very very disappointed and will never ever listen to Geico but take vehicle straight to dealership for windshield or window replacements. PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE SERVICE OF SAFELITE AUTOGLASS OR ELSE YOU KEEP ON WAITING AND WAITING.

I called Safelite for a rock chip in my windshield. They sent someone to my location, same day, and they were able to repair (with lifetime guarantee) instead of replace. This was very convenient because I was able to work while the repair was done. The call agent also informed me that my insurance takes care of the repair, they handled the claim with my insurance, and I paid $0!! Very friendly, helpful and professional.
A couple of years ago I needed to have my windshield replaced and they seemed to have the most affordable rates. I scheduled an early morning appointment so I could have it taken care of before work and the associate that came out to replace my windshield (his name was Mike but his last name escapes me) was very informative and basically gave me and my boyfriend a class on windshields and it was actually pretty interesting. I will always recommend them and only have my windshields repaired or replaced by them.
I scheduled an appointment on August 3rd to replace the drive’s side window and regulator. The technician called me the morning of my appointment (Sat August 8th) to tell me the parts hadn’t been ordered and that I would receive a callback. Why not order the parts when I scheduled the appointment? I did not get a callback and cannot get a live person on the line at your toll fee number.At this point I’m scrambling to find an alternative option in my area. I am so glad I did not pay for the repair in advance.I will never refer any of family or friends to Safelite.
I scheduled to have my windshield replaced. Upon arrival I find out they had yet to confirm my insurance but finally confirmed shortly after drop off. Then about 2-3 hours later they call to tell me they didn’t have my windshield in stock and that it would take 2-3 days. They told me once my windshield came in they would call me to reschedule my appointment . A WEEK later and still no word I attempted to contact them every day for 3 days and was unsuccessful to get through to anyone .Now two weeks later, still no call to reschedule my apt.
Absolute worst experience ever! I had to drop my vehicle off because they couldnt do a mobile repair, but then come to find out they could have. They scratched my dash board, broke a piece of trim on the inside of my windshield and then responded oh, you can just drop it back off to have that repaired. How inconvenient?! Very unprofessional tech and specifically the manager, Allen who would not return my calls and then when I showed up, he acted as if he didnt know what I was talking about. He said he would take care of me and have the customer service team issue me a $100 check for my inconvenience, which I have yet to see, a month and a half later. I have texted the manager Allen over and over to try and schedule the repair to my dash with no response. I call the business and cannot speak with anyone on the phone, they arent taking calls. Ive sent customer service e-mails requesting they call me, with no response. I would never, ever give this company business again! They are the absolute worst!!!
I made an appointment for windshield replacement through my insurance. Appointment was set and confirmed for the morning block of 8am-12pm. Around 815am I received a call from Safelite office advising the assigned tech had call out of work due to an emergency and asked if I would reschedule for the afternoon time slot of 12pm-5pm which I was agreeable to. Around 415pm I called the office and spoke to a customer service rep who informed me the tech wouldnt be making it out but had no other info. I was transferred to a manager who advised the tech didnt have the glass needed and did not make it back to the shop to pick it up for my scheduled appointment. When asked when they were planning to call and let me know they werent going to make it she could not provide an answer. At that point I was not going to allow them another opportunity and I contacted my insurance company who provided an alternate vendor. The lack of professionalism and communication of the office staff and tech was unacceptable. I had changed my plans around to accommodate them and was left sitting and waiting for someone who wasnt even planning to show up. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
The visits to my home was not good however today I took my car into the office and was very place, They provided a safe environment, great customer service. They finished my car in less time than they quoted. They restored my belief.

They did a great job on my windshield replacement. During the installation, some cosmetic parts were damaged on my car. Safelite ordered new parts at no cost to me and came and replaced them. They actually do honor their guarantee/warranty. I would reccomend Safelite to anyone.
