Maxi Auto always completes the repairs in a timely manner at a fair cost. The company always honors their warranties and can even assist you with transportation while your vehicle is waiting for repairs. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking fair and professional vehicle repairs.

I would highly recommend Maxi to anyone. I took my car in to get an oil change and the AC fixed. Americo was very easy to work with and very professional. With the AC diagnostic, they went ahead and assessed the entire car. From there they build you a profile and send you a link with of different issues and the why behind the issue. They try everything in their power to fix the problems in a cost affective manner.

My car ls front end was making a rattling sound over bumps. I’m moving soon and wanted my car completely looked over for shipping overseas. They could’ve lied and said they replaced my entire suspension. They could’ve kept my car for a week. I was mentally prepared for that scenario. Drove around with a tech so I could show them the noise, they had my car for maybe two hours, called with diagnostic, that they greased my front calipers. Cost me under 100 bucks and my car drives like new. This is a trustworthy mechanic shop, and a total gem.

As soon as I walked in and explained my issue, a tech immediately went for a ride with to identify the issue. Had me in and out in no time. Just moved to the area from Fernandina so this will be my auto shop from here on out. Great guys there.

I brought my car here after seeing their reviews, and I am very happy I did! There were 3 things that stood out to me:Their online system where they upload commented photos about each item they inspected works well and is very useful. Being able to see exactly what the tech is seeing both assured me that the work is being done, and also that the work is necessary.They did not push unnecessary repairs, and they discouraged me from performing work on my suspension that was not yet necessary. I really appreciated that.Finally, their customer service was excellent. Their service rep, Americo, was very responsive, attentive, and explained the services thoroughly. The repairs were done very quickly and faster than their estimate.I would absolutely bring my car back here in the future.

For 48 years I used Parts Garage for my auto repair. When they closed down about a year ago I had to find a new repair shop. I found another in my Riverside neighborhood but, unfortunately, I found them to be ridiculously priced and not all that good. I dropped them and began using Maxi Auto Repair and have been very pleased. After doing their analysis of a problem they let me know in detail what has caused it and also what the repair cost will be. In one instance, they have even emailed me pictures detailing a fairly unusual electrical failure. First class customer service!

RUN don’t walk to Maxi’s, the customer service is impeccable and unmatched here. The men are honest, open and will have your car ready when you need it. I had a lot of trust issues arriving here due to other shops but I was assured they can and will fix the issue. They sent pictures and detailed updates while servicing my vehicle and kept in touch over the phone. My AC was finally fixed properly and works great, even have a warranty if something goes wrong! I was thoroughly impressed with the services that I received. Their service department pointed out that my almost new tires were bad and that j didnt need an alignment. They even offered to talk with the dealer that sold me the tires. I told the tire dealer exactly what maxi auto told me and I showed him the pictures. I got 4 new tires free!!I saved over 800 dollars!!! I will continue to get my car serviced by Maxi!!!!

The crew at Maxi Auto Repair were fantastic. Looked on Google and saw they had a decent reviews and called them up right away. After an oil change and running diagnostics on my wife’s Jeep, they were quick to inform me what issues they saw and what they recommended be repaired.After explaining everything, I asked Kevin what he suggested and how long it would take to fix and without hesitation, “3 hours for repairs and an hour to get the part.” I was sold. They repaired the vehicle the same day I brought it in.I’ve been fortunate to not have a lot of car troubles in the past but I cannot recommend these guys enough. From the calls and texts, to the amazing turn around time on the vehicle, I’ll continue to go to these guys for as long as I live in Jacksonville.

I just cant say enough good things about Maxi Auto Repair. Having my car repaired during covid times was a little nerve-wracking because Ive got a number of high risk conditions and need to keep personal contact to the barest minimum. But they were so understanding and we were able to do a contact-free payment and pick up of our car, which was towed there.They went over everything in thorough detail, provided a great analysis of the things wrong, and helped me understand how best to prioritize the repairs needed for my older vehicle. They also embrace technology and it was wonderful to be able to see photographic evidence of the things wrong with my car.

We discovered one of our tires was going flat on Sunday. Called Monday afternoon to see if they had an appointment. Americo was very friendly and said we could drop it off before 5:30 for them to look at the following morning. I got a call from Americo pretty early the next morning with a diagnosis (nail in the tire -- classic) and he quoted a good price to patch it up.The work was complete in a couple hours. I got a text confirming everything was done, paid my bill online, and picked it up just before close. As I was walking up, Americo gave me a call to see if I wanted them to leave the car out front so I could get it after hours. I was already at the office but it was comforting to know that they were keeping me in mind and had a way for me to get my car back if I wasnt able to get there in time.Overall, great customer service and value. Will be going back again!

I was on a trip and stopped to eat. Came back to the truck and it wouldnt start. I tried 3 place near where I broke down and nobody would take. I called Maxi because they are AAA approved. They are very professional. They updated me by text as they diagnosed the problem. It was a bad ignition switch. This price was so reasonable, I couldnt believe it. I recommend them to anyone. On a recent trip to Jacksonville to visit family, I decided to have a couple of automotive issues addressed since I had a few days off for the holidays. Maxi Auto Care - Riverside came highly recommended, and now I know why. I appreciated that I was provided a detailed run-down of repairs that were urgent and others that could wait, with photos accompanying the report. Ryan was very patient and was able to answer all of my questions in detail. I trust this very professional, friendly team with my Miata for regular affordable tune ups and I love their informative report cards they provide.Maxi Auto Care caught a Freon leak that two previous mechanic stations missed telling me it was just part of having a black Miata in Florida. However, now my car is no longer a little toaster oven that I barely drove during the past two summers. I was about to sell it because the heat was too hot to deal with anymore—Now I have to turn down the AC. Thank you Maxi and Carmen!

Tried to save money by doing some work on my auto myself. Ordered the parts. Did the work... but something went wrong and I needed help, so I called Maxis and took my vehicle in for a diagnostic check up. As it turns out, one of the parts I bought was defective. Maxis to the rescue! They diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in record time and I was able to go to my daughters college (out of town). I appreciate Maxis!

Our battery died a few blocks away from this shop (5 points) while we were in a time crunch. We called Maxi Auto Shop and they went above and beyond for us! The owner sent out an employee to jump start our vehicle and were able to quickly provide us with new battery installation and even an oil change on site before we hit the road for a wedding in Charleston, SC. These guys are truly top notch! Dont know what we would have done without you!

Before discovering Maxi Auto Care, I had used another auto repair shop for almost 30 years. I needed to find a new place that I could trust my auto with. I have found that with Maxi Auto Care. When I took my care to them, they did an inspection and sent me via eamil a report with pictures showing all the things they discovered and what they recommended needing repair. I took my car to them thinking I needed new brakes. They inspected the brakes and determined they were fine and didnt need repair. I appreciate that honesty.

Had a very good experience at this place! Wifes van had a unique issue with discontinued parts, and they moved mountains looking for the needed parts. They were very polite, and always kept me informed. They informed me of minor issues, and advised me of major issues. Im not a mechanic, but I am a gear head... So its easy for me to tell if someone is trying to get over on me. They were on point on everything they told me! But the best part... They have fair prices, and will work with you! I was surprised at this, knowing so many places overcharge. Which is why I started doing my own minor mechanic work. I would recommend this place to anyone. I drove 30 minutes just to try it out because of other reviews. Definitely worth it!

The best auto care shop I have ever been to in my 14 years of driving experience and repair. Very easy transaction, no gimmicks, get what you need with no sales pitch personable service. I had a broken starter that left me in the middle of the street and it was towed to the Palmer Toyota dealership with a subsequent quote of ~$700 dollars for repair. I found Maxi Auto Care online while in the dealership as this seemed very overpriced. The staff at Maxi agreed and did it for a fraction of the price, a fair price. I towed it out of a dealership to Maxis - within 24 hours my car was back. During pick up, I was shown the piece of equipment replaced and why it was broken. They bought my business for any future repairs and I would recommend 10/10 to any of my family or friends to take their vehicle there for service. Thank you for a wonderful ending to such a stressful situation!

In addition, he was generous with his time answering questions about private car sales in FL. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone. Im new to the area, and I can truly say Ive never experienced such friendly and truthful service! I woke up today and my car wouldnt start, when a jump start failed to get it going I had it towed to Johns Park Street. Even though they were busy they were the only place in the area that said they would get to working on my car today. When I got there in the tow truck, Matt was so nice that he gave me a ride back to my apartment so I didnt have to walk/call and uber! They quickly found the cause of my problem, gave me a fair and reasonable price to fix it, and even came and picked me up when they were finished! Highly recommend this place, and theyre definitely receiving more of my business in the future!

Im a military wife so not only am I traveling a lot my husband is gone often I just got my car fixed with them not many mechanic shops actually treat women fair but this shop is like family they are extremely friendly fast John actually breaks everything down and works with you far as pricing he isnt someone who just throws some random price out there . Its better than any mechanic shop I have been to including Midas I enjoyed doing business with them not only is he closed concerned about your car but he like literally treat you like family and I would definitely keep them as the only mechanic I go to. This is a few months too late in a review, but I received excellent service from Johns this summer and am planning to take my truck back to him.This summer the fuel injection system (for the 3rd time) went out, the windshield motor died and my 2000 Jimmy was flooded. I had been ignoring the fuel injection problem for months because I had dealt with it before, and I knew about how much it would run to have that fixed. I had not expected the Jimmy to be flooded or the wiper motor to go, however.John took a look at the Jimmy and gave me an amazingly reasonable price for all of the repairs. Unfortunately I did not have the cash on hand to make the repairs. John was really nice and just charged me for an inspection (at a great price) and even had one of his tech guys follow me home to make sure that my truck got me there.Johns service was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. Hes going to be my permanent repair guy while I live in Jax.
